We arrived earlier however the staff made the seats for us. Kind but our table is located behind food lift it means too noisy. Food is nice though.
The friendly, caring waiters make the dining experience even more special. Each time I have dined at Côte the food has been excellent. Will be returning soon.
Booked for 6.15, seated 6.30 - they were incredibly busy which obviously delayed service. Food fine and our waiter didn't charge us for dessert because of our wait - an unexpected and appreciated gesture.
It was completely disorganised. People booked at 6pm had to wait - no system; overcrowded. Shame as I normally enjoy Cote. We went to a different restaurant.
I have been to other cote restaurants in the past and probably wouldn't return to this one. Our table which I booked was delayed by 10 minutes and then we were shoved into a rather uncomfortable corner because we were probably the youngest people there. It seemed that we were treated with a little less respect than the elderly couple two tables over from us. I love the food here but would get it at a different venue
As outstanding quality and value as ever. We come here every time we go to the theatre in London and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended!
Good food, a wide choice and top service, despite being very busy. It is also good value for money. The chain is very reliable wherever you go. Best to book!
Staff were fabulous, food lovely, no rushing us, great experience thank you. Meeting up with family after many years, nice to have great place and service to enjoy the reunion.
The staff were all fantastic, my father is restricted to a wheelchair but two strong waiters helped him in - we were no bother to the busy restaurant and looked after really well. Food was great value and well presented. Highly recommend as a perfect pre-theatre eatery. Thank you Cote.
Good service before a the ballet. Very efficient and food was of a high quality. Theatre menu is good value and reasonable number of options given
Busy restaurant but was still seated on time. Staff were friendly and attentive. Had the two course set menu which was served promptly and was very nice.
Great value meal with plenty of choice on the pre theatre menu. Great staff and service even though the restaurant was extremely busy. Only complaint was the white wine we ordered was served warm!
It was a very good experience. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful. I love Côte and often recommend my friends to pay it a visit too.
Food was the usual good standard and exceptional value for money. The restaurant was packed on Wednesday lunchtime and our table for two was jammed in a slot of other small tables, very uncomfortable as no space between, waiters knocked my chair as they passed by as its so tightly packed. There is a huge choice of nice places in Covent Garden so I will not use this Cote again.
I think that Tavistock Street is probably my favourite of the various branches of Côte I visit. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast and the staff were, as usual, very helpful.
service was slow, one of the dishes was too over-salted to eat, gap between first course and main course far too long, no-one came to ask if the food was ok.
slow service but food was okay. lunch set menu price is good however the quality of the set menu is not as good as the actual menu.
Excellent service, friendly and happy. Prices are good. I am very pro the Cote chain as always Cote delivers. Salisbury and Oxford are my frequent 'go to' choice.
Cool and draughty. All diners grouped on tables next to each other. Rest of restaurant was empty. Food less well presented than usual. Service slow. Food not as tasty as usual.
Friendly and helpful staff, food was to a good standard and all very reasonably priced. More than happy to recommend this convenient restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden.
good choice of menu, food was lovely, i had the fish dish my husband had the pork, staff were very helpful and very friendly, would book to go again.
Excellent friendly service and good value for money especially given the location in Covent Garden. Optional top included but I prefer that to wrestling with percentages!
Excellent quality food served with charm and excellent attitude to customers. Horrible weather so we didn't rush home and did not feel we'd outstayed our welcome!
Greeted warmly and taken to our table without any delay even though the restaurant was very busy. Excellent food & great service as always. Fantastically buzzing atmosphere.
We booked Côte Brasserie - Covent Garden for a classic pre-theater meal and we were not disappointed. the food was excellent and the staff friendly. The dessert was a tad slow coming meaning we had to rush a bit at the end but otherwise it was a good experience.
After forgetting our main course, they quickly rectified and to make it up to us offered free dessert and coffee. Unfortunately, we had theater tickets and had to leave. So they took our drinks off the bill. Thank you Cote Brasserie, I will certainly be back.
Love Cote Brasserie.First time in Covent Garden branch Everything is as good as Cote Brasserie Cardiff Bay.....my local!!! Food faultless.....staff friendly The Cote sets the standard....and in Covent Garden with eateries a plenty that says something!!!!
Good food and nice atmosphere. Our waiters were polite and efficient. Perfect for a pre-theatre dinner and the set menu had lots of choice and was very reasonable.
Originally there was a hiccup with the service but this was more than compensated for before the end of the meal. Super food and staff.
Always have a good experience at Cote. Good food and service with a smile. It's a number 1 choice when going to the theatre or ballet.
The lunch menu was very good value at £13.95 for three courses. The service was excellent and tailored to our pace. We were encouraged to stay as long as we liked and, in the end, we stayed for four hours chatting to a friend from overseas who was visiting London. The dark chocolate pot was exceptionally good, as was the bream with ratatouille although, in our opinion, the risotto could perhaps have had a stronger flavour. A most enjoyable lunch, although Cote at Hays Galleria still remains our favourite Cote restaurant.
As a regular at THIS branch of cote I was pleasantly surprised by the new June set menu, we went for a late lunch after visiting the opera house and decided upon the set lunch menu we both had the avocado crab salad to start which was absolutely delicious a fresh crab and the creaminess of the avocado was absolutely mouthwatering. The main course I had the pan fried chicken breast and my partner had the fish cakes on a bed of spinach with poached egg on top. We selected a very pleasant wine from the menu to accompany the meal the whole meal was exceptional value and the service was exemplary. From the moment we arrived at the restaurant to the moment we left the service was absolutely fault less, It made a perfect conclusion to a perfect day,
As always, courteous staff with great sense of humour. Pre theatre meal excellent. Varied menu to suit all tastes and carefully presented dishes. Legarde wine one of our favourites too.....
A very enjoyable evening, Cote Brasserie is always good and reliable, would certainly recommend it. Good food, for staff pleasant, reasonable price for central London.
Busy around theatre performance time (7pm). Staff are efficient though can be a bit more sympathetic. Food is great, especially the starters in the theatre menu.
Lots of choice on the pre theatre menu. Food was delicious and served in plenty of time for us to get to the theatre in time despite the restaurant bring very busy. I'd recommend booking ahead.
It is a good value for money restaurant - friendly service, good food, and a great location for pre-theatre dinner. Also, nice atmosphere, so I could go again.
Great staff great food great atmosphere great time. Thanks v much. Definitely recommend for families and couples. A very good find via trip advisor and will return.
Wonderful as ever - I love their restaurants - we had a lovely relaxing meal and the food was superb - staff so attentive and really lovely - have to say I recommend them to all my friends xxx
Staff very accommodating and pleasant. The food was okay, but the steaks were not up to par, one was too well done the other we asked for medium and it was rare. Very noisy.
Good food great service! Bit cramped for space but overall pretty good dining experience with a good ambiance. The theatre menu is quite good value for money
I have dined here on several occasions, the food and service are always excellent. I am still to find a restaurant chain that offers such good value.
I love Cote, always a good set menu at a great price and the staff are always polite. This branch has plenty of space and we were allowed to sit and chat without disturbance after our meal
Average quality food, and not great selection of wines by the glass. The waiters were friendly though. Don't be surprised if you're approached by homeless people asking for money if you sit on the outside tables
Second time at Cote, Tavistock Street - good food and good service. Had table round a corner which seemed to get us forgotten initially, but as soon as we alerted them to us we were given excellent service and a discount (not requested). Even said we didn't have to pay the service charge but we were happy to due to how the issue had been dealt with.
It was very busy but the waiting staff were fantastic. Very helpful. Great atmosphere and fantastic food. Highly recommend for a pre or after theatre meal.
The service and welcome are always very good. The food is delicious, and varied and good value for money. I would recommend to friends and family
First time I've been disappointed with the food at this restaurant. The lettuce, bacon, walnut and egg starter was satisfactory but would have been much improved if the bacon had been freshly cooked rather than being cold and looking like it had been sitting around for a while. The main of chicken baguette was disappointing; only three strips of chicken, sparse salad and a rock hard baguette that was inedible.
No recognition or welcome was offered considering the booking was made through Cote loyalty program. Food and atmosphere were good and waitress was attentive to our table.
Food always good at Cote and staff always very friendly. This location is very good for Covent Garden and several theatres. Service very quick despite being very busy.
