We arrived a little late and it was no problem. The waitress took us to our table and was back quickly to order drinks. Great banter with the friendly staff and really good food. Highly recommended

This restaurant is in a great location just round the corner from Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Food was very good with plenty of choice and arrived in good time. Really friendly staff and good service. We were also given a free welcome drink !!

My friends and I really enjoyed the excellent value pre-theatre 3 course menu. The food was as always delicious (especially the sea bream with ratatouille which was especially tasty). The welcome and the friendly service also made us feel like valued guests. We'll be back again soon.

Food was cold and there was a hair in my partners starter. I told them waiting staff and they didn't seem apologetic. We had the set menu and I wouldn't recommend the chicken main or the peach crumble dessert

Food was fine (although wrong main course was served to my companion) but dining on their pre-theatre menu @6pm I had to bolt my main course. (a salad) as service was so slow. I was still chewing as we ran out of the door. Unimpressed.

Great service, really friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food was delicious, perfectly prepared and presented well. Despite the restaurant being full and very busy, the food arrived in good time and we were not rushed. A very enjoyable dining experience.

As always, high quality food and an efficient service. Cote restaurants are always dependable, clean and are my favoured choice for reasonably priced dining. Will repeatedly use.

The first thing the "welcomer" said to us was we had to leave in under 2 hours even though we arrived early! Main waiter at table was excellent but support servers clearly lacked experience and not all side dishes arrived - we had to ask again. Also when being served or handed the bill I like to make eye contact and not have my server looking anywhere else.

We had the pre theatre menu which is exceptionally good value for money and very tasty. The only downside was the tables were packed really close together. I got knocked a couple of times as people passed.

Welcoming but very busy - not surprisingly, given the location. This meant that service was a little slow. Excellent quality and value for money - consistently reliable.

2nd time I've dined here this week. It was extremely busy (food warm rather than hot) and the waiter somewhat distracted - although as always - very friendly.

We had a delicious meal despite turning up at the St. Martins Lane Brasserie instead of the Tavistock Street Brasserie. Our mistake was dealt with efficiently by a very friendly and welcoming member of staff. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

On the hottest day of the year, my mother and I enjoyed the two course pre-theatre lunch. It was cool in the restaurant and very busy! However service was very good and friendly. The noise level was pretty high due to it being so busy, but that only goes to show just how popular this particular branch of Cote is! Cote is great value for money and the food has never let me down and I have been to several Cote restaurants, including one in Salisbury. They all have the same high standard of food and waiting staff. I am a big fan.

The food at Cote is always good value, and there are several delicious dishes on the Set Menu. However, today we were disappointed as the service was very slow and not very competent. One of our starters was not as ordered, and we heard the same thing happening at other tables.

Cote continues to do 'what it says on the tin'. Good simple food well prepared and served by friendly and involved staff. We were particularly impressed by the attitude and commitment of the staff; the place was packed for pre-theatre dinners yet everything happened in a timely and calm process. Well done!

Efficient and friendly service. Gratuity is automatically added. The food is pretty good, I had the Steak Frites which was cooked pink as labelled. Fries were ok. My mum had the sea bream with ratatouille and thought it was delicious. One point that bothered me is that the tables are too crowded together. They've packed them in like sardines. Not a great atmosphere. But perfectly good place to get pre-theatre dinner - affordable, efficient and nice food.

The pre-show menu was very good value for money, the food delicious and the staff efficient and friendly even although the restaurant was very busy. We were all packed in rather tightly but that is only to be expected when just across the road from the theatre. It's an indication of how popular the restaurant is.

Very friendly staff. We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of wine (my introduction to Cote Rewards). The staff were very understanding of one of my guest's dietary needs. The food was served quickly and efficiently (which was important as we were going on to the theatre) and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Good French food, good value for money. Very nice staff. Can be very busy and noisy pre-theatre (they do a reasonably priced pre-theatre menu) but calms down afterwards. A little lacking in atmosphere, but it is a chain after all.

We had pre-theatre three course dinner which was first class and not overpriced. Staff very good. Restaurant was full but with a good atmosphere. Staff very helpful and curtious. One small thing : it wouldn't cost much for a little garnish with the main course...steak however with delicious.
