Great service. They had kept the best table for us. Excellent food as ever. This branch never lets us down. We never felt hurried. Would highly recommend.
We normally love Cote and have been recurring customers. But this time we were slightly disappointed. The cauliflower soup was like water without much flavour and had it not been on the Pre-Theatre menu, which I appreciate is good value, I would have sent it back. The wine named Lagarde was like berry juice, why supply it?
Food very nice. Service very good. Only downside was we were sat near to a table full of four cackling loud women which did have a bit of a negative impact on the experience. (Why does this always happen to me?) At least we were not sat next to them like the unfortunate foursome who were. Anyway that takes nothing away from the excellent staff and lovely food
View good meal - lunch set menu is good value. Service very agreeable and friendly if slightly slow. but this was a leaisurely gathering anyway.
Lovely food and very helpful staff. Couldn't be more impressed. Greeted with a welcome drink, they'd held the table despite us being a bit late (be warned there's a couple of cote restaurants in the area check you're at the right one) amazing value ore theatre menu would definitely return
Service was a bit patchy, but OK, but my main issue is that I was ill that evening and have no doubt it was 'something I ate'! As I didn't eat anything else that day, my focus is inevitably on Cote. For you information I had salad with Roquefort dressing, which upon first tasting elicited a spontaneous comment of 'wow, that's strong'. My main course was wild mushroom risotto, which could also be the culprit.
Very tasty meal and courteous, helpful staff. Children’s meal brought out with the starters and we didn’t have to wait too long from ordering to eating. Would definitely go again.
The food was really excellent for the money. We had the lunch menu and the choice was good. The staff were friendly, efficient and very ready to help.
Good food, attentive service and bustling atmosphere. Just what we needed on a grey and rainy January day in London.Cote offers good value. This was our third visit to this restaurant.
Tasty and well presented food. Quantities well judged. Served in a timely manner but no sense of rush. Staff helpful and polite. All you need in a pre-theatre menu.
Fantastic value for money in Central London and super efficient service which meant we didn’t have to rush to get to the theatre. The food was incredibly tasty.
We always eat at Cote when we are in London very convenient for the theatre great service and excellent food Staff are always very pleasant.
Pre theatre meal. Prompt service with a smile. Excellent value for two course pre-theatre menu. Too full to manage the equally excellent value three course menu! Tap water bought to the table without having to be asked if we would like bottles of still or sparkling bottled water. How refreshing! Would highly recommend but definitely book before hand.
The service was very slick, and very friendly, all the staff was most attentive, I had the pork belly, and have to say it was cooked to perfection, Cote will definitely be on my list the next time we are in London. Thank you very much.
The meal at Cote Covent Garden was lovely! I was celebrating my 50th birthday and my husband and I were greeted with pink prosecco on arrival. My husband has some mobility issues but we had a lovely window table. The beef bourginon that hubby had looked great but my fillet steak was marvellous!! Will definitely return soon.
Great service, very busy as most people doing as we did and going onto the theatre. Great pre theatre dinner. Good food and good atmosphere.
Very busy Cote as it's in the heart of the theatre district in the West End, staff are courteous, prompt, however be patient with them as they are very busy. Food is as you would expect from a Cote Brasserie. Do not expect to get a walk in table during peek times
Very relaxed atmosphere. Good food great value. The service was prompt and professional. Good restaurant for all types of occasions. Would recommend to friends. Very convenient place for theatres and Opera house
Good tasty food well presented all served by efficient staff eager to please.Service charge is a bit above average at 12.5% so no need for extra .
Very busy and tables a bit close together. However 3 course menu was excellent and food very good throughout. Highlight was our excellent server Florina.
Great atmosphere, excellent food & really friendly service. We met up with old friends who also loved it. We have been a lot & it is constantly good.
Busy and buzzy - felt hassled to order while we enjoyed a pre dinner drink - very good value. Wrong starter delivered after all the hassling!!
We had main course and dessert from the special pre show menu - was delicious and very reasonably priced - will definitely recommend it - Jill
Great food and attentive service. Two of the eight puddings were served late so they were on the house. Great seating area as well for 8 people.
Good pre theatre menu served very efficiently by friendly staff. Been to this restaurant many times, always faultless. They always manage to serve good food and get you out in time for the theatre, prompt with the bill. Thoroughly recommend.
Beautiful food and a a wonderful dinning experience in the heart of the West End's busiest district. The pre theatre menu is diverse and has something to offer anyone and overall made for an excellent way to celebrate my birthday.
Good food and great service . Ate from the pre theatre menu. Good choice at a reasonable price. All served hot, well cooked and in good time.
Lovely pre theatre dinner menu. Good value and selection of 2 or 3 courses. Quite small portions but went for 3 courses so was enough for us. Leeks in starter difficult to cut with knife, ?? so ended up leaving a fair bit. Sea bass really nice and chocolate mousse delicious. Would recommend.
Fantastic meal and fantastic service. Great place to eat anytime off day. Have been to this restaurant a few times now always happy to help you .
Another really enjoyable meal. Great food and service. It was a very busy Saturday lunchtime pre theatre matinee but staff were friendly and very helpful.
Consistent good food as at other branches. Service was very good. Nice layout of tables. Bit more variety of seating than at some branches. Very nice
Brilliant. Great service and food. We had theatre tickets, restaurant super busy but we were in and out with time to spare. Restaurant managed very well. Thank you
Great food and service, as always. First visit for American friends who were very impressed. Will definitely continue to use this, and other, Cote restaurants in the future.
The food was good, the service was goodt and we enjoyed the experience of dining in this particular Cote Brasserie in Covent Garden. Tavistock Street
Very busy on a Saturday night as expected.Really great service considering how busy they were.I've been to other Cote resteraunts and this was as good as the rest.
The service was great as we were on a deadline for the theatre. Food was tasty and the specials menu was well received. Would definitely return.
The restaurant has a really good atmosphere and the food was great with lots of choice. The staff were really friendly and the service excellent
We dine regularly at various Cote restaurants when we go to London but also St Albans & Amersham. Service was a little slow as it was very busy. The only other complaint/feedback about this latest visit was that the duck confit (my wife's favourite) not now served with any potatoes, just cabbage.
SERVICE GOOD, FOOD GOOD, BUT BORING AND BLAND LOOKING RESTAURANT. WE HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL COTE AND THIS WAS THE WORST LOOKING. HOWEVER, AS WE SAID EVERYTHING ELSE WAS FINE.
Although we arrived early and they were busy, they managed to fit us in and the food and service were excellent. We noticed quite a few people trying to get a meal but they were turned away so it would be wise to book. It was a Saturday night however.
This Cote tends to be very busy as it is near the theatres but still the service was quick and friendly and the food is good value for money and tasty.
Good value pre-theatre dinner served by a friendly waiter. Shown to a window table and service was excellent allowing us to make it to the theatre comfortably.
Very good pre-Theatre menu and a prompt service. Three of us had steak frites and one had sea bass. All were very tasty. A good value menu!
We had a pre theatre meal, so were tight on time. We had wonderful food and super service that meant we were not late for the show, but did not feel hurried at all.
Very helpful waiter. Food nice. Please stop topping up wine in glass without being asked it just let’s it get warm and rushes the meal
We told the waiter that we were having a pre-theatre dinner & therefore somewhat pressed for time, but despite this the service was very slow which meant we did not have time for a dessert. The waiter did not come to the table to collect the payment & so my partner had to take it to the desk. Not good. We arrived on time at 5.30 &left at 6.40 - plenty of time for a full dinner had the service been more attentive. You were not that busy at that time. We received far better service at one of your other branches when they were far busier.
Brilliant pre-theatre option. Get ready for speedy service, welcoming staff and a good value for money menu. We were looked after and wined and dined and out, all well within an hour, just what we wanted!
Food was very good and the Service was excellent. We had the pre-theatre menu which was excellent value and very tasty. We had three Courses plus coffee and finished well ahead of our theatre time.
Not quite as good as usual , very big party in at same time . Steak a bit underdone , French mustard was definitely English , spinach did not arrive until I had nearly finished . Still a big fan of cote for a value meal
Our table was waiting for us, the staff were all very friendly, the food was excellent, we were given complimentary water, and the set menu was excellent value.
