Fantastic, as always. I try to have a meal here every time I come to London. It is my favourite restaurant. Thank you to all the staff.
Pre-theatre lunch booked on line for Saturday for 6 with the addition of 1 baby. Everything went according to plan and the restaurant staff were so good at locating us at an ideal table to accommodate us with the the baby and totally helpful. The set meal was excellent, good value and well served. We were all very impressed with the occasion and thank the staff for making it so easy for us. We would certainly go again and recommend to others.
Lovely, tasty food on a par with more expensive restaurants. I would definitely recommend. Only downside is that it's so popular you can feel a little cramped in the restaurant.
Excellent meal and value for money. We didn't go for the set menu (which, however, looked very nice!) but settled for the "a la carte" which was good value and the food (and wine) delicious. Service was attentive and quick. Highly recommended.
Another great meal from Cote. Excellent service, lovely complementary Kir Royale followed by smoked salmon starter. Looking forward to my next visit very soon. Thank you
always busy but good service and food. ideal for pre-theatre meal. Service attentive and very efficient. 2courses for £12.95 is very fair. choices of starters and mains numerous
We were on the fixed lunch-time menu which is excellent value as always. For a starter I took the poached egg which is delicious. To follow I had the minute steak which was very tender and tasty. The Duchesse took the moules marinières & was very happy with that. We both had the wild berries with white chocolate sauce, waoooooow ! To die for ! Great service from our multinational waiters - they do a great job !
Cote in Tavistock St for weekday lunch was below average. My butternut squash soup could have come out of a can, my frozen berries could have been ice cubes, my guest's eggs benedict actually looked like half a McDonalds bun with a Lidl ham slice and an egg on top. My chicken was good. To be fair, this was the set menu, and the location is great.
The seven of us had a lovely evening, they forgot two things we ordered and then they would have been too late to have with the meal.- not even sure if they took them off the bill.
I Would thoroughly recommend Cote for a pre theatre meal. Excellent and swift service. There’s a good and varied choice on the menu for good value.
Cote can usually be relied upon for efficient service, however evidently a change of team made our dinner last night not the expected pleasant experience. The head of service was taking orders on his tablet about which he was not informing his staff. They were approaching customers only to find out that orders had been placed. Our experience started with a very extended period before we were approached. Our request for coffee with the dessert was misunderstood twice and a request for the bill had to be made three times. This experience will not preclude me from dining at Cote in the future, but this particular evening did not show this chain to its best advantage. We did receive two complimentary coffees, despite saying that they weren't required.
Good menu and helpful service. Good value for money. Well located for the theatres. The arrangements for coat hanging could be improved as this caused congestion.
Nice buzzy atmosphere in perfect pre-theatre location. Excellent value when dining off the set price menu. Very amiable staff. It's very easy to see why every Cote restaurant is always busy. I don't normally enjoy chain restaurants but there is something different and more special about Cote.
Warm and welcoming branch of Cote. Nice background buzz. Delicious food (ribeye steak, February special chicken, and the most amazing raspberry crème brulees), and efficient and friendly service. All round, a truly lovely evening. Thank you.
Really friendly and helpful waiting staff. All three of us enjoyed our meals and great care was taken to ensure my friend's choice was gluten-free. Impressed!
A really bustling busy restaurant with a great location to Covent Garden and its shops. Eaten here many times with friends and the service is always spot on.
The restaurant had a lovely relaxed atmosphere, and the food and service were excellent. I enjoyed the whole experience and would visit the restaurant again.
Felt a little bit claustraphobic. Table felt it was in a corridor. Food reasonable. Staff very helpful and efficient. Pre theatre menu good value for London
Great value, terrific food Will return offen, have been to 4 branches, non disappoints. Staff is very accommodating to your needs. Celebrating my birthday & enjoyed
Although the restaurant was very busy, my friend and I had no trouble in ordering drinks and meals and we were served quickly and efficiently. Staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed ourselves very much - food was great, too.
Always good food. Always a good price. Always very busy at lunchtime when there's a theatre matinee nearby but the service remains slick and friendly.
We were a party of 8 and were given a good table away from the main dining area. Food was excellent and the staff were helpful and attentive. I loved my birthday dessert with candle!
Excellent value at £14.95 for pre-theatre lunch with good food and efficient service - especially to accelerate dessert when asked, as we were short on time. Would certainly recommend and go again!
Food was mediocre and the was service average. Cold chips had to be sent back. Wrong dessert served, had to go back. Sparkling spilled all over table by waitress.
A delightful evening. Food as usual delicious with a good choice and attractively presented. The staff were EXCEPTIONALLY caring and courteous and contributed a great deal to a wonderful dining experience. Thank you so much.
Great place will go again. Good place to meet friends.
Excellent dinner , the food never disappoints at any Cote restaurant. The staff were attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was good . As a single diner I didn’t feel alone .
Service and food fantastic. Extremely busy and our table was stuck between two with less than 5 inches between tables. Don’t attend if you like your personal space.
Good food. Good value. Prompt service. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody but especially the three courses for £14.95 early evening pre-Theatre menu. Excellent
Great service Good food Good value Would recommend the restaurant to my friends and family and will happily be returning in the very near future
Good food, courteous and excellent service in a very busy restaurant. We have experienced nothing else in visiting Cote Covent Garden. We shall come afain!
Restaurant had a vibrant atmosphere, the staff were excellent: attentive, personable and patient - we were a table of 8 including three young boys. Food was delicious. It was our son's birthday and at the end they brought out a chocolate pudding with candle and at least five of the staff came to our table and sang happy birthday to him! Thank you for making it a wonderful evening for us.
Booked for 7pm but changed to 6.30 with no difficulty. On arrival reception was warm and friendly and we were shown to our table. Being pre-theatre the place was buzzing but brilliant fast service and fantastic food for the money (£12.95 for two courses) Will definitely head there again!
Waiter & food very good, but one our guest was sitting next to the stairs so there was constant traffic! On the seating I would make would mark lower.
The food and wine was very good. Only thing that could of been better was the table we were sat at had waiting staff constantly walking past and it very cramped.
Restaurant felt a bit cramped. Food was excellent as was the service Very good value for a central London restaurant. Will certainly eat there again
We have visited several other Côte branches and were pleased to note that the atmosphere in Tavistock St was predictably buzzy, with friendly, efficient staff and a menu that conveniently includes choices to suit everyone’s taste, at reasonable value. I Actually think the quality of the food was a bit better than usual.... And the generous gesture of giving the three of us a free glass of Kir to celebrate my friend’s birthday was an unexpected and special treat. We will be back!
I generally love Côte so my experience on Sunday is probably an anomaly. Sadly, our service was not as good as it has been on previous visits. While it wasn't terribly busy, the servers seemed far more interested in chatting amongst themselves that night & it was difficult to get their attention. My spinach crepe tasted as though it had sat & was re-heated but it had taken so long to get it, I didn't bother to send it back, particularly as my friend just had a Nicoise salad. Yes, I'll come again but I'm a bit wary now.
There was a good choice of options on the pre-theatre menu and although the restaurant was extremely busy the staff were excellent and attentive and the food was yummy! We even had time for pudding! 3 courses for £15 - excellent value!
We booked a table at a busy pre-theatre time for Saturday. There was a queue when we arrived but we were ushered to our table, the only one free, without delay. Service was good and the food was too.
This restaurant was amazing they really catered for my intolerances of dairy and gluten will definately recommend to others, also great location and customer service excellent
Excellent food and amazing service , we were served by a few different waiters throughout our meal and can say every one of them was polite , helpful and interested .
good value for money.enjoyed choice of food for pre theatre meal would have preferred a table in the main room rather than in the narrow section. service good .
Good staff, good quality meal. Friend squirted all over table. Had a blast. Can't think of any areas you can improve. It was perfect. thanks
Good choice of food service was excellent and served hot. Did not have to wait long food after ordering despite being busy. Waiter was polite and helpful.
We had a lovely meal at Cote and everything was just perfect. It is always such good value for money and an absolute treat .
Have eaten here on many occasions and can highly recommend this restaurant. Great place for a Pre Theatre Meal. Fantastic location and the most amazing food!
From the minute we arrived we were recieved fantastic service. A drink upon arrival while we waited to be seated. All staff were very friendly and the food was amazing. Will recommend highly!!!
Nice but very busy. We sat next to the stairs where the food comes up so it got quite busy around there. Food was ok.
Great service. They had kept the best table for us. Excellent food as ever. This branch never lets us down. We never felt hurried. Would highly recommend.
