Lovely food. Service good but a little inconsistent as we had to ask for missing food and twice for the bill. Sat next to a fire door which was very draughty and cold.

Have eaten here before going to the theatre. Amazing gluten free food and very tasty! I am more than happy to recommend this restaurant to other coeliacs.

Easy to book, very good service, excellent food and good value for money. Our friend who arrived early felt very comfortable having to wait a while for us.

We thought the food was very good (but not great) and excellent value. The service was fantastic - welcoming initially and efficient and friendly throughout.

Welcoming and friendly. Glad we booked as extremely busy. Despite this service was good. Inevitably with so many people it was noisy but not overly so.

Pre-theatre dinner at £14 for 3 courses ticked all the boxes. Food, service and value excellent. Very friendly and attentive even though it was very busy. Great atmosphere.

I had high expectations and was on the disappointed side of average today. My food was very dry and overcooked. Felt like it had been sat on a hot plate for too long. The service lack any genuine customer care. I appreciate it’s a busy restaurant but could have done better. Finally it was very busy and felt cramped. Felt like a sardine in a can! Wouldn’t recommend! Surely guys!

Excellent food and service - Steak was particularly good this evening! far better experience than my last Cote meal about a month ago at St Martin’s Lane where we were given the worst table in the restaurant.

Pleasant, helpful and friendly staff and tasty food at moderate prices especially considering the location in Covent Garden. Portions not huge but this suits many diners.

Seated really quickly but did have to summon the waiter in order to place our order which was a bit surprising as the restaurant was not particularly busy. However, once the order was placed the food arrived quickly and was to the usual delicious standard that you would expect from Cote. After a shaky start everything was nigh on perfect!

Great atmosphere and good food at a reasonable price; two courses £12.95. Could have done with more Camembert on my starter, portion a bit stingy

My wife had a starter and main from the pre-theatre menu, the main course of haddock was very basic and portion of fish was small and overcooked. The A La Carte food was better but more expensive, monkfish for main was nice but only three 1cm slices of monkfish for £18.50 was not very generous. Wine and service were both good. Automatic 12.5% service charge of everything including wine.

Service was confused - multiple waiters / waitresses, with more than one request for drinks! The food was nice and hot though. Would go back again

The service was poor and the food pretty limited. Ordered Eggs Benedict and had to send it back twice as the hollandaise was cold. Strange but I thought home made Hollandaise would be served warm apparently this is not the case with this Branch of Cote. The pre bought in Hollandaise can only be served cold!! Followed by Mussels - The blandest plate of mussels I have ever had. Overall a great disappointment before our trip to see Carmen at the RNO

Although we were nearly half an hour early on a busy Sunday lunchtime they managed to seat us on arrival. Good choice on the prix fixe menu, waiting staff friendly and mostly efficient. Everyone in the party enjoyed his/her food.

We went as a couple for pre-theatre lunch. This is always nerve wracking as you're never sure in a packed restaurant if they can turn it around in one hour. As usual Cote did and some - managed 3 courses instead of two! As usual very friendly and attentive even though they were so so busy and had to deal, very expertly, with a lady who collapsed on the steps. So calm and cool the staff - don't know how they do it. Love Cote.xx

The restaurant was very busy but that was fine and expected. Two downsides for us was (1) we ordered starters and within a minute of that being served our main course arrived and (2) the table was far too small to accomodate the starter dishes, the main courses, the vegetable accompaniments, the water, the entree drinks and the bottle of wine. We ended up putting the bottle of wine and the mixer drinks on the floor. On the plus side the food was very good.

I enjoyed the ambience and the meal, as always. The staff were very friendly and responsive and delivered all orders accurately and in good time. They could have come to actually take orders, check on how things were, a bit faster...but all in all, another lovely evening at Cote .

As always, Cote was good value for money. Glad we had booked as it was busy. Our waitress got my main course wrong, but I said I would have what she brought anyway, which seemed to please her enormously. We didn't see her again after that. I like the fact that we were able to sit and chat: there was absolutely no pressure to pay up and vacate our table.

Food and service were exceptional from the moment we walked through that door until we left. We received a very friendly welcome, a cocktail on arrival and a lovely table by the window. Our waiter made sure we had our 3 course meal in one hour as we had to go to the theatre. All the dishes were delicious, specially the Duck with Diaphanous potatoes and the Tarte Tatin. Cote never fails to deliver

The food was lovely, particularly the mackeral rillettes. The service was efficient in spite of the restaurant being packed and all the staff being very busy.
