Really nice staff and good food but service was a little all over the shop. It was extremely busy so I think it was down to that.

Poor service and waitress stank of smoke. Waitress was quite rude. Very crowded and loud. Written 24 March 2018 afternoon . . . . .

Our food and service was excellent, we were very fortunate in that we had one of the best members of the waiting staff who has been with Cote a long tome and knows how to look after customers, and always provides excellent service. My colleague noticed although the are a lot of new faces amongst the waiting staff it would seem sadly they have not yet learnt to work as a team the way the older members did. Often we observed newer members were busy chatting to each other rather than attending to customers. I think perhaps the manager needs to take a close look at what is happening in the busy times

Normally good food and excellent service. On this occasion the food was still good but the restaurant seemed to be overbooked, the service was understaffed and there was a general air of charming chaos. Unusual.

we were a party of 8 and were welcomed and shown to our table extremely efficiently Drinks first and menus shown we proceeded to get through our 3 courses all of which were extremely good value for money All was eaten and everybody said the food was lovely. All staff wished us a pleasant evening on the way out which was also very nice. Overall a lovely experience we were all very pleased.

Small portions from the pre theatre menu. Should have ordered from the main menu. Not a great experience overall - felt rushed and very squashed in. Like Côte normally but wouldn’t go back to this one.

No pressure over long leisurely lunch with friend & local venue of choice from the chains for these. Food & service as good as they usually are at this branch.

The only drawback on Wednesday evening was that there was no sea bass available. At 6,15 p.m. this seemed quite early to run out of one of the main courses. As we were pushed for time I was going to order my friend's choice before she arrived so we could eat immediately. We both wanted the sea bass but settled for the haddock that was nice but not as good as the sea bass! Apart from that and the usual panic at the end of the meal trying to pay the bill quickly it was an enjoyable experience.

Service was the outstanding element of this experience. Restaurant very noisy. Food ( we all had the 2 courses option ) was good to average standard , soup and sea bass being rated the best of the dishes chosen but all considered reasonable value for money

The March menu in Cote is very good and we are working through it on trips to London. Cote is the best value and friendliest place near theatres and always our favourite.

We booked the restaurant at 5.30 to give us plenty of time to eat before the theatre that started at 7.30. The staff kindly changed our table as we were in a draft every time the door opened. The food was lovely. Unfortunately the service was really slow. We had ordered two courses from the pre theatre menu, so going to a show. We left the restaurant at 7.25. Just as well the theatre was just across the road or we would have missed the start of the show.we had to cancel the tea for one of our party and had to ask for the bill three times. I have eaten in Côte restaurants many times and it was a shame this has spoilt my view of the restaurant chain.

Good food and good service until we came to pay the bill - then despite having made it clear when we booked and when we arrived that we were going to the theatre there was a long delay in getting the bill and paying which meant we had to rush to the theatre. Unfortunately it's not the first time this has happened at this restaurant so we will not go back again for a pre theatre meal.

Great food and lovely friendly staff but the restaurant was beseiged and despite having booked for 6.30pm, we didn't actually get seated until 6.45pm which meant we had to rush things. The manager very kindly gave us a complimentary glass of fizz each, but unfortunately it wasn't quite the Côte experience I've become used to.

Food as always very good value staff pleasant and helpful.. The noise level makes having a conversation very difficult. . We were seated by the clearing of crockery station where it sounded as though plates and cutlery were being thrown into the receptacles with little regard for customers sitting nearby. The restaurant was very busy so early in the evening and the staff were doing their best to look after their customers. By the end of the evening the noise levels must be unbearable! We were also seated by the disabled toilet which was frequently in use and this was not very pleasant

Very nice pre theatre menu before watching Lady Windermere's Fan. Côte Covent Garden - Tavistock Street is conveniently located and very close to the Vaudeville theatre. The service was excellent and we were able to enjoy all three courses at a nice pace and without having to rush

Lovely Gluten Free lunch. Plenty to choose from. My friend enjoyed her 'normal' meal. Good service. It was very noisy though with people talking louder and louder over each other to try to have conversations. We just gave up!!
