Côte - Covent Garden

Very tasty and well presented fixed price meal, up to Cote's usual standard. The mackerel & broad bean & pea salad topped with a poached was particularly fine.

Had another great meal!! Service excellent and good delicious! We will be returning again later in the week - recommend the Prestige Menu which is great value.

Fab, perfect pre theatre meal! Booking ahead on line on the day worked perfectly-except I took us to the other Cote in Covent Garden 1st; they were helpful and would have given us a table but I know and like this branch from previously. Great window seat, open so cool. Superb swift, but not rushed, polite, efficient service from all staff. Usual great choice on varied menus and reliable, fabulous food. Go to chain! Thank you!!

Very busy and noisy, but in fairness, being a group of 6, we probably contributed. Unfortunately the toilet facilities let them down, 1 of only 2 working, acing to queue by the kitchen dodging waiters with trays.

Cote is an excellent reliable chain.... normally. In my experience , more people are willing to forgive average food than average service. The service was slow and while smiling , it wasnt effective. They might not have had enough staff that Sunday afternoon. I understand that you can get hints about what a table needs from looking at the tables eg are plates done ? but my strong feeling is that they might have noticed my table raising their hands for service and attention. Not everyone wants leisurely service - some of us have an event eg theatre to go to and want prompt service. The great skill of a team is to give the right service to each table.

Good food and great service. I would have given it 6 but the table we had was tucked in a corner and very close to another.

Food and service both very good. However, toilet facilities in a very inconvenient place and insufficient as only 2 ladies cubicles , one of which was our of order. Also there was very little space to manoeuvre in the toilets especially if someone else was waiting.

As always, good service, good food. Have visited many times and this is a good central London restaurant close to Covent Garden and west end theatres.

The food is always of a good quality and the staff were very polite and efficient. The only issue was that the restaurant was very busy and noise levels were too high.

Pleasant dining experience in crowded restaurant. Outstanding value for money. Couple of small issues during the meal were politely and quickly dealt with. Service was good-natured.

Good food, good service, lovely atmosphere altogether a good feel visit setting us all up for a wonderful staging of Falstaff at the Opera Hose made for an enjoyable evening

It’s was 6 o’clock on a Friday evening so the restaurant was full of pre theatre diners but the service was still great with attentive staff and lovely food.

GREAT value as always, consistantley good service too, varied menu but for me, steak and chips at their best! Wine is always reliable, a firm favorate.

Another visit to a cote restaurant but if I’m being picky Tavistock Rd was not up to Hays Galleria standard. My starter of goats cheese with tomatoes was not as good with presentation, not enough cheese and the tomatoes were small and quite tasteless. The ribeye steak was over done and the chips at all Cotes restaurants are dry and hard.

Good service, good food. A very satisfying visit which we will be happy to repeat next time we are in London to see a show.

Excellent venue and lunch with a group of friends. Am impressed with the change of menu each month and will certainly visit again in the not too distant future either for lunch or an early evening meal.

Love this place. Never had a bad meal nor bad service. The pre-theatre menu is great value for money. Can't wait to go again on 27 July.

Table ready on arrival. One member of staff had difficulty remembering more than one thing at a time ( he had to be reminded three times that we had ordered a lemonade) but otherwise the service was excellent. The food was delicious and it is great vfm. Highly recommended. I have eaten in a number of Cotes and always been very impressed.

Nice food, but a very noisy table near the plate clearing area. A very busy restaurant and the staff, although trying as hard as they could, were overwhelmed at times. Not as enjoyable an experience as it should have been.

Fast and efficient service. The food was excellent, it started to get really busy around 6pm so would suggest you book or get there early

After being seated it took 51 minutes before our entre was served. That is too slow. The waitress was nice. Then things moved on pretty good.

Visited Cote on Tavistock Street London on Saturday. Large que of people at the door but fortunately I had a reservation. Service was prompt as one would expect and the food was everything one would expect from Cote.

I visited Cote 'Covent Garden' on Sat 7th July. The restaurant is in a great location - staff were very attentive and the food was lovely. Highly recommend!

I have only rated the visit as a 5, as although the service and food was excellent, there was only 1 toilet in the ladies that was in operation.

Great location. The food is always fresh and the service is on point. Nothing is too much bother for them. Very accommodating when we arrived an hour earlier than booked. Thanks!

Great to see the Tavistock St branch return to form after a couple of slightly unsatisfactory visits. Savoie ham and charentais melon was a delicious & light summer starter, followed by a perfect steak. Just had room for a coupe noire for pudding. Lovely window table and charming service.

Cote offers great pre-theatre menu at great value. Portions are good. Restaurants are always busy but the service is efficient with a well trained staff.

Good food. Excellent service. And superb value for money. What more can I say? The three course menu had plenty of variety. Wine was lovely.

Went for dinner with my niece. Ate off the superb Pre-Theatre Set Menu. Amazing value and great service. The food was excellent.

After enjoying the fantastic 42nd Street at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. We rounded the day off with a lovely meal at The Tavistock Street, Cote. As well as the meal, the service was of the usual Cote high standard. Luckily we had booked in advance, as many were unable to get a table, who had not.

The restaurant is very convenient for the many theatres in the Strand, Aldwych and round Covent Garden but if you travel by car the roads around have many diversions at the moment (July 2018) due to roadworks and parking is difficult. But the food at Cote is excellent and service good.

Always delicious food at a reasonable price. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will be returning soon and recommend often to friends.

The restaurant was in a Fantastic location. Great staff, very attentive without being intrusive. The food was served In a timely banner and was delicious!

The service was good but 2 of the items we ordered were unavailable aRose and a chicken dish. What food we ate we both enjoyed.

The food was great and the staff very helpful. We arrived just after 2.00 pm and unfortunately the lunch time crowd were still there bellowing at each other. This made it very difficult to hold a normal conversation or hear what our waiter was saying.😪😪😪😬.

Great service,beautiful food and a cosy ambience all made for a great family meal. Never disappointed with quality service and a welcoming smile. Will gladly return.

As Always when we visit Cotes restaurants, their food is always cooked well and delicious. Love the atmosphere and you are always made to feel like a valued guest.

Good food but slightly let down by chaotic service - to be fair this was during pre-theatre time but they should have staff fully up to speed with what to do
