Came here for pre-theatre dinner on a Thursday evening and am so glad I reserved! Friendly staff, good set menus (nice to have the choice between a "normal" set menu and the "Prestige" set menu too). Starters came promptly but mains took a while, and we didn't have time for desserts in the end. Waitress also forgot my drink. For mains we had sea bream which was delicious, and the ribeye steak which was a bit tough although still pink. Overall it was a reasonably nice and reasonably priced meal!
Great place for a Brunch on a Sunday! The staff are excellent here too.
Excellent food, service and location! Keeping up the high standard at all Cote Restaurants we have experienced. the only but small point (otherwise highest mark) were the lady's toilets, not enough in numbers and very small. I guess space comes at a premium in London...
I had advised in advance that 1 diner was GF and this was immediately confirmed on arrival and a seperate GF menu presented at the table. The waiter was attentive, not intrusive, and service was brilliant. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection, and all the GF dishes arrived with little GF flags in them. We had a lovely meal, in a nice relaxed atmosphere, and I would recommend to anyone.
My only beef is regarding the size of the tables. We dare not order extras because there is insufficient space to eat in comfort. This is a failing with many restaurants
Very good chain restaurant with above average food and service and a well priced set menu with ample choice. Ideal for a pre theatre meal.
We had an excellent meal although on a rather cramped table. The waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Will certainly visit again. Found the restaurant although busy much quieter than other Cotes.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming The food was good and good value . Would recommend this restaurant. My friends and I often go to Cote places
Always a pleasure to eat at Côte. Great food, great service. It is never a worry taking ‘new’ people there. They very quickly love it too.
We enjoyed our lunch, and Cote is a regular place to go. If rated a 4 this time it was because there was nothing outstanding about it - and not entirely to do with Cote: it was just a simple work lunch, with no trimmings, and with someone on a strict cleanse which meant they had to be choosy about what to eat and couldn't join in as fully as they would have done on other occasions.
Very pleasant and efficient staff, dealing at a very busy post and pre theatre time with non bookings, very wet people trying to get in out of the rain, broken wine glasses and split wine on the next table.. food was as always delicious, hot, and speedily served. Waiter kept checking we had enough complimentary water, came to ask if everything was ok, and when a small portion of food was left over on the plate asked whether there had been anything wrong with it. Basically service you would expect in a far more upmarket restaurant. Well done Cote
Booked for a business lunch for a party of 5 and had a great time. The service was very good and quick. Plenty of menu choice and the food was excellent. Will definitely dine there again
Great service friendly and informative on the menu. My steak was a little tough so I mentioned it to the waiter and he informed the manager and they Took it off the bill. Perfect customer service.
Great food service and atmosphere Cotes is a seriously well run restaurant we are regular diners and have never been disappointed Well done to all the team
Excellent service and ambiance. Pleasant and reasonably priced food. The Tavistock Road restaurant (Covent Garden) was excellently places for West End Theatres. Very friendly and hardworking staff. Thanks.
Very good service and the usual quality food from this busy restaurant. Slight mix up over gluten-free dish but well handled on a busy night.
A lovely place for pre theatre dinner. The tuna salad is quite substantial and tasty. Chicken and frites were lovely and my friends and I really enjoyed our desserts! The service was excellent.
We have eaten at this branch several times before afternoon theatre performances and have always been very pleased. The air conditioning was working effectively, which was very pleasant on a hot day and the welcome and service were both very good. I had the terrine to start and it was excellent, but let down by tough, toasted sourdough bread. The starters arrived promptly and I think that the sourdough had been sitting for some time, rather than made to order. Our waiter said that she would let the chef know about this.
Very good meal and friendly service. Excellent location for various West End theatres including Drury Lane which is only seconds away. As a chain Cote are very consistent and you always know what you are going to get
Pre-theatre menu very good value and excellent quality. The waitress provided us with very good service. This restaurant is located very close to the Lyceum theatre which was perfectly convenient.
Love the food, love the staff, grate location, lovely staff, will definitely be going back. Well worth the money...we had the three course set menue, well worth the money.
Good food and service and a pleasant environment. The set menu is great value with a good range of options. Only disappointment was the standard of the toilets.
Reserved table with ease. Arrived early and the table was ready. 3 of us enjoyed 3 courses of the a la carte and a bottle of sparkling wine. The service was excellent and always with a smile. There was plenty of choice on the menu including vegetables which are a must for us. The quality of the food was hard to beat. The restaurant was wonderfully located for our Aldwych Theatre which started at 7.30pm. My wife's birthday was a marvellous treat. Cote is definitely one of the best, if not the best chain.
Wonderful food and lovely service. Came with the wife and kids after a full day out in London. Would absolutely recommend and go again. Entire family had a wonderful time!
Great service and lovely food. I have been to Cote Covent Garden on numerous occasions and this was just as good as all the previous times.
Booked online for a family lunch. Nice relaxed atmosphere, lovely food and attentive staff. Only issue was a dirty wine glass, but this was quickly rectified. Will definitely revisit.
Great night out, good food and atmosphere. Service was fantastic and couldn't have asked for more. Would definitely come back and will be recommending to others.
Once again great service and friendly atmosphere, with a good menu to choose from, the food as usual very good. Would recommend when visiting London
We had an amazing lunch pre theatre for my husband David’s 74th Birthday. The staff were attentive and made us feel special. We can’t wait to return when we next get to London thank you.
excellent customer service. I had issue to book my free aperitif on line offer... and the staff were very helpful and help me to redeem the voucher . all staff very nice, smiling.. great food. good price. excellent location
We enjoyed the lunch. One of our party had the “thin steak”. It was not easy to chew. Otherwise the food was good value. We would come Again.
Enjoyed the food and good service. We booked well beforehand and asked to be by a window, which we were. Our table was far enough away from others to allow us to talk about family affairs (the family had not met for some months).
Great service by friendly helpful staff and lovely food. I have eaten at this Cote several times now and it is consistently good. Thank you.
Very nice meal. Fitted in well for supper before our evening trip to the theatre. Only problem was it was a very hot evening and tables were rather squashed together and no air conditioning although windows were open. Just the weather made it uncomfortable otherwise very enjoyable.
Great service, lovely food :) really enjoyed dining at Cote with my friends for my 25th Birthday. I would 100% return
As ever the Cote experience was excellent. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive. Please export Cote to France.
Looked after by an attentive but not intrusive waiter - makes all the difference. Food good, though the description of 'salad' alongside the grilled hake was a bit overblown for a few lonely leaves..
The food was Ok but not amazing, reasonably priced I would say.
Lovely as always this is my third visit to the Cote restaurant chain after my friend had recommended it to me. Lovely food and reasonably priced house wine.
I am a regular at this restaurant and can vouch for the quality of all aspects of the experience.
This restaurant has got things just right. Fantastic food at a great price, with wonderful service.
A superb location with great service and food. The set menu is by far the best Pre-Theatre menu available.
Excellent food; good choice of menus;the staff are always polite and helpful; It is now very popular, so it is important to book in advance.
Love this restaurant. Always the same quality with good staff. Been coming for years when we in London for the theatre or short break Les
I love this restaurant. I love the menu and I love the food. It is ideally situated for pre theatre meals. The staff are efficient and polite.
Another excellent meal. We all enjoyed the menu and as it is close to where we all used to work, it is an ideal location for us to meet.
Great location, friendly attentive waitress who gave a great wine recommendation. Had a window seat with a lovely breeze. Our friends from Ireland want to know when Cote will open in Dublin!
My first visit to Cote Covent Garden. The food was tasty, had the set menu, just the right amount for the price you pay and the service was excellent, friendly helpful staff.
It was a lovely atmosphere and food was god as was our free cocktail. The staff were very attentive and it was a great venue, would go back again.
We sat down at 7.02 pm and I apologised and asked if the pre theatre menu was still available. The deputy manager advised no problem and we sat down. After five mins of perusing the menu we were about to make our choices when we were advised that the menu was no longer available. Very disappointing service. I ordered moules frites and was astonished to find not available in a french restaurant. This would never happen in France. Then to top it off on cholcolate fondant wasn’t also not available for one of our party. My chicken replacement was mediocre at best - over cooked and over seasoned. Poor again. Service changes of 12.5% should not have been added in this instance and doubt we will return. Used Cote a lot previously and felt very disappointed tonight.
