Cote never fails to impress. From start to finish we had a fantastic expierence. Food was delicious. Welcoming and attentive staff and the complimentary cocktail for Peters birthday was a welcome and appreciated gesture. Can not recommend enough and looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Cote.

The food was excellent as always, but on this occasion the service was slightly disappointing. The blood orange martini was excellent and a good price. The most annoying thing about Cote is the need to leave 25 words in the review. Most of the time 10 would be more than adequate!!!

We were delighted with our meal and your friendly service. Thanks you. To be constructive, the Ladies’ facilities were lacking, I thought,in freshness. I wonder how often it is checked?

My wife and I had a lovely meal after seeing a show. We were also celebrating my wife’s birthday and had a complementary glass of Kia royale. The meal was excellent also the service ( our waiter was James ) who was very helpful and polite . Can’t praise a Cotes enough.

Service quite slow with an extremely rude waiter. After 20 mins and 2 tables which ordered later than us got their food we asked the waiter to check on our food. She told us we needed to wait 20 more minutes (restaurant was barely half full). Pointed out we'd been waiting 20 minutes already to which she said "no you haven't Hun" and when I pointed out other tables received their food earlier she said "well I don't know". Dinner completely ruined. Do not come to this branch.

Lovely Parisian feel to it. Food good but 2 of our part who had steak, said it was just ok. The entrance & waiting area need to be looked at, very poor. The ladies toilets for too small & it would be nice if you gave a little sweet with the bill. Just a nice little touch, to think about.

I am not sure I have ever given anybody a low 3 star review before. That tells you something! Nice venue for a meal and as our visit was pre-theatre, it was early dinner - 16:45 start. So, it begs the question - how on earth could they have only one beef bourguignon left (we had ordered two)? Not the end of the World and a another selection made. The main course arrived and it was pointed out by me, the carrot and french bean side dishes were not in evidence. Only after much coaxing was it admitted they had been totally forgotten and I was halfway through my meal before they arrived. A goodwill reduction of £8.70 was made to the bill, without prompting by me. The positives - quite an extensive menu to choose from, the staff were pleasant and attentive and service in terms of food presentation and delivery was very good. I would return - but please - must do better.

We both thought the food was delicious and authentically French, especially as the pre-Theatre menu was cheaper than other restaurants in the local area. The staff were charming and we had no trouble settling our bill in time for the ROH at 7.30.

Loved this Cote, it was super busy on Mothers Day so understandably the service was a a bit patchy. All our food arrived together and was delicious. Our son was well cared with an excellent menu for as a coeliac and we all had great meals. Set meal was a fab deal! Thanks Cote X

Been to this chain of restaurants many times so know what to expect.tavistock Road is one we have been to on several occasions being Mothering Sunday it wasn’t as busy as usual so was badly let down by the service .We waited almost an hour after our starters so asked what happened to our food .The majority of the staff we too busy gossipping to take much notice of us so took almost 15minutes to get attention bearing in mind we were the only ones in the first part of the restaurant .The manageress apologised and said it was due to staff change over shift that our food had been forgotten to order

Brilliant Service, food and value. My wife and I are regular 'high end' diners, but we love this place when we're in Covent Garden, from Scotland. Genuinely can't believe the quality of the food for the price. bottle of champagne is only about £35 too!

The waitress that took our order was very efficient and friendly, however she went on a break, from then on the service was appalling, we booked a table for 1.30, however we did arrive 15 minutes earlier, the first course took nearly an hour to be served and then another long wait and being ignored before the main courses were served, I had sword fish, and it appeared to be over defrosted in a microwave before being griddled, and because of this it became the tiny piece of fish you could imagine, and the taste was not nice, two of my family had salad, and I don't think you could of got another piece of lettuce in it, the ingredients that should of been in there where very hard to find. However two of our party had sirloin steak, which they enjoyed. I would like to ask why you don't have a children's menu, even at lunchtime, is it because you don't want to encourage family's to eat at Cote, and as it took so long to provide chicken and fries for my young granddaughter, she began to get very hungry and overtired, and irritable. We had to ask several times for more water, before it arrived at the table. I could go on but I think you get the gist, of our visit, it was my other granddaughters 18th birthday, and it turned out to be very disappointing. We have eaten at many Cote restaurants, and this is the worst experience we have had.

Food was average - unusual for a Cote, it's normally excellent! Our local branch (Oxford) is much better. The position of the tables (we were outside the toilet) leaves a lot to be desired too....

A very popular restaurant with excellent food served well by cheerful and friendly staff who know what they are doing. The restaurant is well placed for theatre goers and the service is prompt despite being very busy. It's best to book a table in advance.

Tables too close together throughout restaurant. Sat in what felt like a walkway under a broken heater that was making me uncomfortably warm. Food good although out of calamari by 5.45pm.. my favourite starter! I go to a few cote restaurants but I shall be giving this one a miss for a while.

Restaurant was so noisy and over seated and cramped. It’s the worst Côte I’ve been to. The food was lacklustre, my beetroot and mackerel slad looked a mess and was missing the horseradish creme fraiche. It was a really sad salad. I ordered the steak for main which was so riddled with fat I had to return it. The promptly replaced it with the sea bass which was fine. I did receive a glass of wine off my bill as a gesture for the steak which I did appreciate. Overall a very depressing visit which is a shame as I’m a big fan of Côte. They need to remove the amount of diners they’re trying to squeeze in and make space for plants and soft furnishings to absorb the sound in the place. My companion and I had to really raise our voices to talk to each other. Shame.

The set menu is good value and the food and service are excellent. My only small gripe is that the mains don’t come with veg and they are quite small portions without veg. It really bumps the price up having to order sides.

Food quality great, as always, friendly staff, lively atmosphere. Our original table was in line with the aircon which was quite strong (it was a warm evening). We asked whether we could be moved and this was done without any fuss. Despite being moved to another part of the restaurant, our 'original' waitress came by later and asked whether everything was ok; which was a nice touch. We don't like smoke, and the open windows meant that some of the outside diners smoke was drifting through; but not a lot you can do about that on a warm day! It wasn't a real issue.
