we like this branch of Cote, always buzzing and has a good vibe; this was high speed pre-theatre supper, the staff were prompt and solicitous, and the food was quite ok
As usual, set menu food good and service good too! Actually service was particularly good as had written long complaint about previous visit, so staff (incl. manager) were particularly attentive!
Had the set menu pre-opera. In and out in an hour after 3 courses. Food good. Service good.
Food of a commendably high standard given the prices, and service that is impressive in a restaurant that is extremely busy every evening. A favourite!
we ordered from prestige menu.we found the salmon was undercooked and the chicken was very dry. the thin steak from the main menu was tasteless
We experienced excellent service. Friendly, helpful staff. Very tasty breakfast of the usual high standard. Nice ambience. We would highly recommend Cote Tavistock Street to our friends.
Overall a very enjoyable meal and excellent service. The mussels were initially served up cold, however the waitress took them away and replaced them with minutes with no fuss. The atmosphere was great so would recommend this restaurant
Another excellent after theatre dinner at Côte Covent Garden, Tavistock Street ! Delicious Poulet Breton and beautifully moist salmon with ratatouille and to finish the best crème caramèle in London ! Friendly & professional service. Bravo !
We ordered from the pre-theatre menu and the food was very good. This is one of our favourite Côte restaurants. The service was quick as well.
Great food, ambience and service. Everything is right about this establishment!
We had a lovely lunch at Cote Tavistock Street. The staff were helpful, but discreet and the food was excellent. I had the rump of lamb cooked medium as I requested followed by the chocolate parfait which was lovely. Thank you very much.
Good choice of food and nice atmosphere! Would go again thank you. Liked the choice of a set menu and reasonably priced. Staff helpful and friendly
Very good customer service, very good food, very good menu options and a good understanding of customer needs. The online booking was very good and allowed us to book a pre theatre meal in pleasnty of time
we ate from the prestige menu which was good with a good selection of starters and main. There was no crème caramel for dessert which was odd for a Saturday lunchtime and this resulted in a slightly disappointing meal. It had not occurred to me that Cote would ever not have crème caramel, which I have always taken to be their signature dessert.
Absolutely brilliant as always. Friendly, professional staff, prompt service and lovely food. We dine regularly at Cote both in London and at home - often for breakfast, which is also amazing - and it never disappoints.
The restaurant were expecting us, attentive to our requests and the food was tasty. An enjoyable and memorable evening celebrating.
Excellent service and great food as usual. Pre-theatre meal is good value and always reliable. Staff are friendly and appear to be genuinely interested in their customers.
We met for a family breakfast to celebrate a birthday. Everyone enjoyed their various choices and the vegetarian breakfast was voted the best ever!! Pleasant service and good food as usual.
Order was wrong.half chicken was unrecognisable as a half chicken. The assumption was made that we would pay 12.5% extra for service. The service went to the staff so I had no means to complain to the owners. They probably dont pay a satisfactory wage to the staff if they rely on tips. I have been to a different cote before and was impressed. This place was not impressive.
Despite being very busy restaurant the management and team always deliver 1st class welcome and service. October specials were delicious. Lovely cocktails delivered to friends we bumped into and persuaded to join loyalty scheme. Nice touch.
Friendly, efficient staff, excellent food. We were made to feel welcome, seated quickly, and offered pre-lunch drinks. Everything ran smoothly, and it was all most enjoyable.
Service very slick and foid good but we would have had time for another course before returning to the performance had Cote not stuck to their policy of serving every one else with starters before us because we only ordered a main course before others ordered starters. Not acceptable!
The mushroom was cold the service was very poor the coffee I asked for it to be very hot and on two occasions it had to be sent back and when it came a third time it was warm my husband had Americana with cold skinny milk the milk was asked for three times and the couple we were with got hot milk with there drink we waited at least 10 minutes and still no milk so my husband used our friends hot milk your waiters seem to look right through us when we try and get their attention I’m afraid to say we won’t be coming back to a Côte restaurant again you put service charge as it is on the bill but yesterday your service was bad
Outstanding food and wine, but also friendly and efficient service. We were a party of 4 dining in the (long) interval of a show at Covent Garden, and the experience couldn’t have been easier.
We needed to eat very quickly and the service was amazing and courteous. Two courses ordered and eaten in 35 minutes. We eat too quickly I know!
We were in a hurry due to booked theatre tickets and the service was fast and efficient but in no way rushed and everyone was very friendly
lovely food, atmosphere and service. Excellent in every way. Great
Great service great food excellent value convenient location for theatres. They are particularly good if you have to get to a theatre, as then service is very fast but nonetheless very friendly
The restaurant became very busy shortly after we arrived at 5pm and the service was not as quick and seamless as it has been in the past, In particular one of the three main courses ordered did not come up with the other two ans the waitress seemed unaware that it had been ordered - it did come about five minutes later. However the food and wine were excellent and the staff friendly and apologetic.
Lovely lunch, waitress was lovely and friendly would highly recommend 😋often meet old work friends here for a catch up, lovely relaxed atmosphere and never feel hurried 👍
Friendly staff, great buzz in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Good choice on the menu and gfreat location for the Royal Opera house.
Arrived while very busy with pre theatre dining. We were welcomed quickly and received our requested drinks very quickly as well. ~The starters were extremeley delicious as were the main courses.
We took the pre-theatre set menu but one of the items (the pork) on it was not available (even at 5.45). The chicken was good, though. The service was quite rushed (we got the feeling they wanted through-put) and the tables for two are quite small and close together. But it did the job - a reasonable dinner before the theatre.
Great atmosphere, food and service. I am particularly impressed with the service.
Lovely meal - food is great and staff very attentive. Often eat here if I’m going to the theatre as close to most of them. Only downside is the small ladies toilets!!
Delicious food with good choices in the pre-fixe menus. Although the restaurant was full it wasn't noisy. A very pleasant dining environment. Service was slow initially but rapidly improved.
Handy restaurant for Theatre Land and very popular for pre theatre dining. Although very busy service is prompt and efficient. Food is good too thanks.
Another excellent meal served by friendly, efficient and knowledgeable staff. I cannot fault Cote for their service or value for money!! Our meals were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely evening celebrating my husbands 60th birthday. Great food and excellent service n a busy fully booked restaurant. Well done and thank you.
Great menu for pretheatre and groups. Good value. Good location Recommended
Excellent service and good food quality. The dishes were prepared and served in a way that more than met our expectations. The menu offers a wide choice and there is a nice French feel to it.
We have eaten here before and as always, the welcome was friendly, even though some of our party arrived late due to an over-running matinee performance in Victoria, and the food was superb. Our table was booked for 6.30pm and desite not ordering until almost 6.50pm, just before the cut off point for the options on the "pre-theatre" set menu, our meals were perfectly cooked and served with level of attention and easy charm that we have grown used to at all of the Cote retaurants. Our visit was on a Sunday, so I don't know if it is normally this much quieter than on our usual Saturday night visits, but it was an extremely pleasant way to end a leisurely trip into London.
I have been to this branch of Cote several times and, as in all branches of this restaurant, the atmosphere is was great with excellent service and a very enjoyable meal.
We're rarely disappointed with Cote restaurants and have used this one fairly regularly to meet friends. The food offering is familiar and of good, reliable quality. Service is always friendly and prompt. My only significant criticism of this branch is that tables are crammed too close together. Two of us were effectively imprisoned until neighbouring tables were vacated or we made a nuisance of ourselves and obliged other people to stand up and make room.
Cote always provides a reliable dining experience. As ever there are plenty of choices from the menu , cooked and presented well and service that is professional and friendly.
Good food and lovely deserts. Well priced and always a good option
as usual, a great place to eat. I just keep going back.
Although dining on my own, I was given an excellent window table: great! Manager very welcoming & dealt efficiently with confused party in doorway ahead of me. I will come again!
I had to chase up my main course which eventually arrived way after my guests received theirs. I also then had to chase up a 2nd drink I had ordered.
We had booked but didn’t seem to matter. Shown to a small table where I was practically sitting on the guys lap on the next table. We moved to a table by the window which was annoying as restaurant not busy but given worse table
