Lovely meal and my window table request was accommodated. Service attentive and slick. Special offer of 2 set menus and a bottle of wine was great value. My favourite Côte- I have dined at a few !
Good ambience and food despite the pre-theatre rush! Slightly undercooked cassoulet was redeemed by the other dishes and creme brulee. An enjoyable experience so close to Covent Garden
A very professional operation. The food is consistently good. The restaurant is very popular so it’s a good idea to book. They are also rather noisy but what restaurant isn’t nowadays.
The food was wonderful as usual ( especially the onion soup) ,except that the chocolate sauce for the coupe noire was cold and the crumble had run out .
Another great evening at Cote. We had a pre-theatre dinner and chose from the prestige menu. Two courses, wine and coffee came to just under £60 for two people. Good value for central London. Well cooked tasty food with efficient friendly service.
A party of 8 of us had lunch at the restaurant yesterday. The staff were pleasant and food very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
First time at this location which I shared with a couple of friends. All were delighted with the service and the food. the only slight problem was deciding which end of Tavistock Street we were most likely to finnd you.
Good atmosphere, staff very friendly, food was good and service also. would not hesitate returning if in the area. Great location if in Covent Garden for both lunch or dinner.
Quite poor, poor service, e.g. No veg menu and the staff member did not even verbalise the veg menu, just walked off, disappointed as we hAve been few times
Food delicious apart from Risotto which was somewhat over cooked. Requested soup be served very hot but it wasn’t... One important fact - in the Ladies loos, both loo seats don’t fit properly and could be dangerous. It wouldn’t take much to upgrade them and would make a world of difference!
excellent location for theatre around covent garden. The waiters are very aware of the demand from the customer and we had very good experience as they are able to accommodate our need of attending theatre on time
Excellent food. fantastic location for Royal Opera House. The waiters are very attentive to our needs of prompt serving of our 3 course meal in order to attend theatre on time
My second visit to this Cote outlet - good to see that high standards were maintained! Great tasty food, nice wine, good attentive service, all for a reasonable price. My new go to restaurant for post performance dining in Covent Garden.
Food and service were excellent. Most of us had the fish pie and really enjoyed it. We often eat at Cote in other locations and are always happy. The set menus are good value.
Excellent food and service - highly recommended. We had a lovely meal before the theatre at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Always a good meal at this establishment! Fabulous food and service.
Friendly and welcoming staff and good choice of menu and wines in a vibrant location; yet another fine Côte restaurant. Last orders at 10.30 was great for after theatre too.
Excellent food and service. Love going to Côte when in London. The only negative is the seats are too close together at this restaurant unfortunately
As ever at this Cote the meal was delicious and it was served with courtesy and good humour. Our waitress was aware that, due to an early matinee performance at the R.O.H. we had limited time and she was extremely helpful processing an subsequently serving our order. Thank you very much.
Lovely restaurant great staff and really great food. But the loo seats were broken in both ladies loos this is not acceptable and B needs sorting out. I would go back tbough.
We went there for a pre theatre dinner and had a lovely meal. Great food, reasonably priced.
A very busy restaurant, particularly at lunchtimes, so always wise to book. Another excellent meal from the Prestige set menu, with prompt service when ordering and food delivery. Good value for money. The restaurant has a buzz about it but never feels crowded or over noisy. I’ve been here quite often and have always had a most enjoyable experience.
Good food and service. As there were only two of us, I’m not sure I’m happy with twelve and half % service being added to the bill
really enjoyable food and venue. all courses were fantastic. staff great. really enjoyed the moules frites, and the service was very good. overall brilliant experience.
If you haven't got much time, and want something quick and delicious, then I recommend this restaurant. Staff are very efficient and you are served in no time. Book online or by phone otherwise you will not get in at Covent Garden.
8 of us met up for a family lunch. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant, food and service were excellent. A very enjoyable experience and will definitely come again.
We were in a hurry as we were between Acts at Covent Garden and the service was quick and friendly accordingly. The food is always cooked to high standards and the choice on the set menu is very varied-something for everyone.
Good food and pleasant efficient service. Just the job! It got very busy due to theatre coming out but this didn't impact on the service.
Usual high standard wining and dining at Cote. Delicious, tasty food served promptly but not rushed. Good wine. Pleasant service. Sensible prices. What’s not to like?!
Great atmosphere, excellent choice of wine and food. It is an ideal spot for breakfast and lunch. Dinner especially good for before and after the theatre.
Great food & service as always but they try to fit in too many tables so you feel like your sitting on the lap of your dinning neighbours.
Really enjoyed the meal from the prestige menu however news levels made conversation impossible. Doesn’t put me off though, I will return
Great food and great atmosphere Easy to find within the heart of theatreland , service was good, didn’t feel rushed and people were still arriving at 10.30
Great food. Great atmosphere and great service. Top marks as usual.
Large airy restaurant. The food as up to Cote standards. Had to leave the table and ask for our order to be taken, were given Kir Royale as an apology
Great friendly atmosphere, terrific food at good prices. Best to book as it does get busy especially near Covent Garden. I always book online before I go - easy!!!
Very accommodating restaurant for a large party. Staff on hand but not hovering. Good menu choice to suit all tastes and wine prices for all budgets. Have used this venue before and will do so again.
Yet again the team (especially Ben) did a fantastic job looking after us! Even managed to squeeze in 3 courses during opera interval - no mean feat!! Prestige menu was tasty and good value. BZ Team!
Excellent speedy service! We enjoyed a pre theatre meal here last night. The service was excellent and very quick and the food was consistently good - as we find with all the Cote restaurants.
Really lovely staff - very helpful. We requested a specific table which was not available so were offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco - a lovely treat!
Lovely as always. Great service really good food and nice surroundings. I am a regular visitor to the Tavistock Street branch. Very reasonable prices too.
We arrived about 15mins late due to volume of traffic, but was greeted with smiles and told not to worry. They bent over backwards to ensure we were out in time for the ballet.... GREAT service
We had a good table and the service was excellent. The meal represents very good value for money...…...as well as being delicious. Definitely going back to Cote. Peter Smallwood.
We were against the clock, it being an interval during the opera, and the staff totally rose to the challenge! Staff were delightful and super efficient. Food was great. BZ!
Fantastic value, a commendably high standard of food, swift and courteous service. Please keep giving your customers all this and you will continue to be a top favourite!
Very nice staff. The location is great and the food comes hot. They have a varied menu and great specials which rate every month. The set menu is great value
Our waitress Susanne was absolutely brilliant, very helpful, patient and smiley. The food was very good and excellent value for money. We will definitely return to Tavistock street London
Pork belly was big disappointment, could not eat it. Had this dish many times so know it how it should be cooked.....Susana was on duty and handled my complain beautifuly. She apreciated the luck of time left ( I was going to the Opera), mede few suggestions as to a choice of a quick dish, Bordeaux was delicious as alway, creme caramel the best ever. Smiling and helpful staff...... I left happy.
Really bad service. Despite 1hr 20 (1800 reservation for 1930 ballet curtain up), we didn't get our main courses. They arrived as we were leaving, with the suggestion we take cottage pie to the Royal Opera House with us!! Were given full bill and didn't have time to argue as we would have missed the ballet. Area manager was very quick to respond to complaint with a voucher, although the promise of cheque to reimburse the £40 spent never materialised.
Nice food as usual. But me and my friend were put in a squashy little corridor type area away from the main buzzy part of the restaurant. Didn’t like this!
