A most enjoyable late lunch with friends. Food excellent, as always. Service magnificent, also as always. Nothing could be improved upon, except for the ambient noise level, which is very high.

Seated quickly, polite staff, my food was lovely however my daughter was still hungry at the end of her meal. She had fillet steak and chips and it was a very small portion. Too noisy for my liking but it was a pre-theatre crowd. Don’t like the idea that there’s a optional gratuity of 12.5% automatically put on the bill because although ‘optional’ it’s not really as it’s on the bill and is shaming to take it off and put down what you feel is a more acceptable amount.

A warm enthusiastic welcome seating us at a spacious table. Enjoyed a simple lunch of delicious crispy calamari, olives and the charcuterie board, followed with desserts which included the special, profiteroles drizzled with warm chocolate and peanuts!

The service was too slow. No attention at all after our waiter served the mains. I caught the eye of a waitress. She cleared the plates but did not take our order for dessert. I had to go up to the bar & request service & even then it wasn't toute de suite. I complained to the waiter & said the manager had summed them all for a talk. I should not have been charged the discretionary service charge,and I should not have paid it, but if the host/hostess is paying it seems rude to their guest to complain. Is the restaurant taking advantage of this?

A great evening catching up with friend... I mentioned to the waiter we were in no hurry S hadn’t caught up for ages... and there was no pressure to order, of leave...

Côte is always consistent: really good food of a high standard, but at reasonable prices. Staff always friendly.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Cote. I found table service extremely slow, one of my guests was served the wrong order and the quality of food and its presentation was weak. While I appreciated one of the orders being deducted from my final bill I was embarrassed by the restaurant and would not book Cote again for a business meal.

Our local Côte’s are Tunbridge Wells & Canterbury which are always brilliant, going to the one in Covent Garden didn't disappoint.

Could you change the choice of puddings to include a second choice with fruit?

We chose to book a table for 3:30 pm when we knew that the restaurant would be quieter - and it worked. Staff were great as was the food and service.

We found a very friendly welcome. Good service and excellent food. My cousins over from America were very impressed and pleased that we ate at Cote. No one made any comments about us not drinking wine. The water bottles were good and kept the water at a good temperature. Nobody hurried us and we had time to talk and enjoy the meal. Many thanks. Even though our usual table was not available we were shown to a very good table by a window. The food was first rate, as was the service.

We've visited Cote Covent Garden several times and on this occasion it was quite quiet (but it was around 3.15pm on Tuesday). We chose from the fixed priced menu which is always good value. Unfortunately we had a significant wait between starter and main courses....around 25 minutes which wasn't properly explained. Luckily we had the time available to accommodate this hitch and the desserts came without delay.

3 people dinnomg amd we all had the veal from the September Specials menu it was lovely .. out waiter was friendly and we had promt efficent service with a lovely smile. First time i have been to this cote as always does not dissappoint

The staff were slick and attentive. The timings and arrangements went ahead exactly as agreed. They made my job as the organiser easy. The guests were very happy with not one complaint and several of them asked me to hold our reunion here next year. Which I will, thank you to all who contributed. Impressive.

Everything was absolutely perfect although I ordered my steak medium well and it was definately medium rare. I'm not much of an expert when it comes to steak but I showed my partner when I was half way through and he did say that is definately not medium well that is too pink. This time I just gave my partner the buts that were too pink but next time I will just ask to have it cooked a bit more but I only realised until I got nearly halfway through. Excellent in every area and the steak was the best steak I have ever had. We will be coming back again when we return to london at christmas.

Three of us had the inclusive breakfast menu, each with different options; eggs benedict, vegetarian full and the crepe. All very good, and efficient friendly service. Nice start to a day out.

Service wasn't great. Despite having booked a table, we still had to wait. I asked if I could have a vegetarian menu and was told by our waiter they didn't exist, which was corrected by a colleague. My starter wasn't overly hot and then the main course took ages to arrive (we were at our table for about an hour before we saw the main). I have had much better experiences in other branches.

All the staff were lovely. We were early but were allowed to enjoy undisturbed chat and coffee time until we were ready for our lunch. The food was lovely and good value as always. We would not choose anywhere else in Covent Garden. Well done everyone!

As usual a lovely meal. I love the fact the menu changes every month and the quality of service and food is always good.

Went for pre theatre to also celebrate a friends birthday.... was s lovely meal with great service and staff were kind enough to bring us s free glass of Kir as a little birthday treat which was a very nice touch.
