Côte - Covent Garden

We enjoyed a wonderful post-theatre (matinee) dinner. Although we arrived early, the staff gave us our table immediately. The food and service were excellent, as always. Cote Covent Garden never ceases to please.

We had a wonderful pre theatre meal before seeing Mamma Mia - it was a perfect location. The French onion soup was so delicious especially with the added melted cheese. We both had the chicken served with a tasty garlic butter sauce. We drank Prosecco which was served cold in an ice bucket. Our waitress was delightful - friendly, informative and so nice - definitely will return. Thank you x

The thing with Cote is consistency. Food’s great, not expensive and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The place always has a buzz about it. Always a great experience.

Delicious meal - we both enjoyed our choices. Perhaps a little too much cream employed: as creamed spinach proved a less than ideal choice with fish Parmentier. Portion sizes were possibly a tad too generous - we hate waste - though the cat enjoyed the duck too!

The service was very slow; took an age to take our order, then again for any food to arrive. Something was wrong. Menu ok, not as good as previous visits.

Love Cote Brasserie restaurants and this one was every bit as good as usual. We hadn't left all that much time before our 7:30 theatre deadline but our waitress could not have been more helpful and our food arrived speedily and was delicious as always.

Very slow service on this visit, not sure what had gone wrong. We liked the idea of having two set menus.

We eat in Cote Manchester every week and have never been disappointed however our visit to your establishment was a very bad experience. The restaurant was grubby with damaged wallpaper, dirty seats and the toilet area was in need of a good clean. My order arrived with out the ordered toast and my wife's poached eggs where not completely cooked.Our order was for the Formule breakfast but you charge extra for coffee that was included in the formule deal.

Chose this restaurant because it was close to our theatre . Food was amazing could not fault it . Service was great too. For me it was just the noise level and how cramped it felt in there but was peak pre theatre dinner so to be expected .

A few things not up to scratch- table not ready, wine spilled on table, mix up with drinks order and eventually bill changed 3 times before accurate. However the duty manager agreed those aspects were unacceptable and adjusted the bill accordingly. Food up to usual very good high standard and we will continue to select Cote restaurants.

Restaurant was very easy to find and in a very handy position for theatres. The food, as always, was delivered in good time and was delicious. However, we had to ask twice for water which is normally given as soon as you arrive, the noise level was high and more annoying was the clear up station was near to our seat so was very disruptive.

Excellent food at a reasonable price, friendly and efficient service

The service was incredible and so efficient, the staff were on top of everything despite it being fully booked. Also mine and my boyfriends night was made by a lovely anonymous man who paid for our whole meal!!:)

This restaurant was recommended by Fodors, which we usually find reliable. Not this time. The food was mediocre. In terms of service, it seems like they are going for authentic Parisian; ie, slow and diffident. If so, mission accomplished.

The food was very tasty but I have never been to a 'French' restaurant and not been given bread! I was also fed up with having to listen to somebody's phone call.

All good except ribeye was too thin therefor was over cooked.

We had a complimentary French Martini thanks to an online offer and it was the perfect start to a very nice meal. Very efficient and friendly service too.
