Lovely restaurant, amazing food!! Staff very friendly and was perfect for our evening as it was basically opposite the Lyceum Theatre... would love to go there again!!!
We had a great meal which was very reasonably priced. We also were very impressed with the quality of service - brisk and most friendly.
Nice restaurant, cosy tables with a candle, very good French food and wine, quick service, polite staff. Definitely I will come back with friends. Yes!
Service & staff very good indeed - a very pleasant evening prior to the theatre. We’ll go again. I’d recommend the fish pie - it’s as good as it gets.
Up to the usual high standard of Cotes Brasserie. Staff helpful, friendly and attentive without being pushy and without chasing us to get out as we enjoyed a leisurely late lunch. Food, as usual, was excellent.
Restaurant very busy and had to ask to be served. Once served the service was very good. The waiter was very helpful suggesting meals which would be quicker to cook as we were short on time. The food was excellent!
Decent-quality food in a pleasant, albeit rather hectic, atmosphere. A safe bet for an evening with a large group of friends or a good-value pre-theatre supper.
Lovely food but restaurant too hot and service a bit slow. Had the fish stew which was lovely. Free bottle of wine via Cote rewards
Good service and we'll prepared food. We had pre-theatre menu so portions are not large but good value and just what we wanted. Would go again.
As usual, Cote was heavingly busy but the service was still very good. One of my party sent back her starter as she preferred her eggs benedict firmer. No quibble from the staff and the senior waiter apologied and offered some bread while she waited. Sea bass good and not overdone and apple crumble up to its usual high standard. There was no rush to show us the door either. Always a good venue to meet old friends.
It is always busy which speaks volumes for the service and attentive nature of the staff. The food is always of a very high standard and good value for money.
Very good menu with wide choice and excellent service. The food arrived in good time and there was no pressure to leave swiftly at the end of the meal.
Great food and good service. Warmly greeted and attentive service throughout our meal, coupled with great food and a complimentary bottle of wine - what's not to like?
Three courses for, I think, £13.90 is Incredible lunchtime value in Covent Garden. Portions not huge but entirely adequate. Helpful and efficient staff. Large wine and drinks list.
Enjoyed the experience with good food, good service and able to talk to friends and hear what they were saying without too much background noise.
Once again we had a great evening at Cote , thank you all. We were not rushed but also not ignored either. We will definitely be back.
Great food as always. The 2 or 3 course menu is excellent value for money in the heart of London. Friendly and efficient waiter. Lively atmosphere at lunchtime, a very enjoyable meal with an old friend
Great service and food. Nothing was too much trouble. Right in the heart of Covent Garden. Perfect for my visit and staff were very friendly.
A really great location - ideal for theatres. Very speedy and efficient service. A great Cote
Nice restaurant environment, great value for money with tasty variety of food. Set 3 courses menu has a good range of choices including 2x fish options, so choice for all.
The restaurant is always busy, clean the atmosphere is comfortable and staff attentive although I had to ask for somethings twice.Would certainly go there again and so close to the theatres
Great food, great service and an ideal position in Covent Garden. I gave a 6 because you couldn't fault the important things but the tables are very cramped.
Excellent service, despite being very busy. Excellent food too! Really nice atmosphere and menu options were really good. This venue is very popular and potential customers were queuing outside when we arrived. You must book a table to avoid disappointment. Highly recommended!
Good food, service not the best, waiting quite some time before order was complete at the table. Good value for money. Will still go back.
Lovely food and generally very good service. We were there for a pre-theatre meal and with limited time. The restaurant caters well for this. Thank you
Great service and value for money as ever. Can't go wrong with the Steak Frites especially when you get on the 3 course offer for £13.95 (or thereabouts). Highly recommended.
Superb service and high quality food......an excellent pre-Theatre meal. The waiter was attentive and ensured we had rapid service when the restaurant was very busy. Highly recommended.
Very good food as always, and prompt and efficient service. The fixed price lunch menu is particularly good value. The restaurant was full - matinées at neighbouring theatres so everybody needed to out around 2pm - yet the staff coped brilliantly.
Great food and value. perfect pre theatre meal . Good value for money with complimentary water . Need to book table as very busy and popular
Visited for a pre theatre meal, two of us. Good choice; good service; good food; good ambience - there's not much more one can say
We arrived to be told there was a gas failure so they could offer very few hot dishes....that being said they did produce splenid alternatives and the plus for us was that the restaurant wasn't quite as crowded as usual so able to linger over coffee without feeling that we were preventing someonelse fromeating.
The service was excellent and the food was very good. The only problem was the noise level - far too high to be able to have any sensible comversation. Management need to address this problem with new or refurbished facilities - soft furnishings is part of the answer.
We had an excellent lunch as usual and my Grandchildren enjoyed your steaks. I am always glad to be early as you do get busy, then it gets quite noisy. Thank you!!
We dined at the Tavistock Street branch of cote this evening. I had booked in advance and as it was a special occasion. We chose that special 10 year anniversary menu, I can only say how delighted we were by the exquisite food on offer. For starters I chose the charcuterie board, my colleagues had a crab mayonnaise, Baked Crottin, respectively. For the main course I chose the Roast Duck Breast my colleagues one had the Roast Pork Belly, the other had the Breton Fish Stew. We all finished with the crepe Grand Marnier. The comments that went round the table regarding the food from my friends was they had not had such exquisite food apart from when they dined in Paris. As per usual the service was exemplary and I would like to pass my congratulations on to the kitchen staff as all the dishes were exceptionally well presented and absolutely delicious. I can highly recommend the anniversary menu and as always at cote it is exceptional value for money
This is an excellent branch of Cote, very well located on the edge of Covent Garden, the service is efficient and friendly and the food always well prepared and tasty. As usual with Cote, you get real value for money.
Fairly priced, excellent food and service - only comment is your bottles of still water are impossible to pour from when filled to the brim!
Lovely meal, we had the fish croquettes to start followed by the steak and Frits nice tender, lean steak. For desert I had peach crumble and my sister had creme caramel. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
An excllent meal with excellent service. We chose the celebratory menu (has Côte really been going for ten years?) and we were not disappointed. The champagne was a nice touch and a good way to start the evening. The charcouterie was imaginatively served and the poulet was perfect. The chocolate dessert rounded off an authentic French meal.
There was more than one menu and we chose from the À la carte. The prices weren't too bad for the middle of buzzing Covent Garden. I had the Chicken & Walnut Salad which was delicious and a hearty serving. We all agreed that our food was superb. Our waiter was very attentive, but not too much and there wasn't a flicker when we moved tables half way through to be away from the window. We chose the NV Brut Cremant De Bourgogne from the sparkling wines, which was recommended by our waiter and it was truly, excellent. Will definitely be going back soon.
Good food. But ordered olives, bread, espresso and couple other small things that never came (but werent on the bill) and had to get up to go to the bar to order drinks and the bill. Seemed like there was a mad rush and lots of attention during pretheatre time, and then when the restaurant emptied the staff breathed a sigh of relief and sat back, forgetting we were sat round the corner behind the bar and still needed serving. But still good food and kind service
Great service and good food as always with the pre theatre menu being good value for money, would recommend this restaurant to any one visiting Covent Garden.
unfortunately when we arrived there was a problem with the Gas in the kitchen..so menu was reduced to two types of Chicken! the soup was lovely and the chicken was fine too as was the wine..nice touch would have been a glass of wine to all for the inconvenience of the menu... reminded me of fawlty towers posh night the ducks off!!!
Great food and superb atmosphere. My guests were amazed, they never expected to eat such exquisite food in the UK. In short: I had a fantastic birthday lunch.
Lovely and attentive staff. Lovely food, and happy to make alterations for fussy little ones and we're really nice about it too! Absolutely perfect for pre-theatre dinner!
Always a great atmosphere at any of the Cote restaurants and Tavistock Street was no exception. We had a lovely meal and good service from friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.
The food/service was fine. Our only complaint was that we weren't provided with the set menu until after we had ordered. Three of us ordered ahead because two guests were delayed and one of the three had time restraints. The set menu was provided to the two late arrivals but not the three. Probably just an oversight but annoying nevertheless.
A group of work colleagues from the 1960s meet at Cote at least six times a year. We always enjoyed a delicious lunch which is excellent value for money.
The service was quick and courteous. The tap water which was served was unpleasantly warm. I was surprised that a restaurant which claims to be french in style did not serve bread automatically with the dinner. The food was however quite tasty.
We've visited Cote restaurants before and have never been disappointed. This was again a lovely venue, excellent menu and great value for money. Staff were lovely...great night
This branch gets very busy so best to book.. Very good service and meal this time - previous visit fell short of usual cote standards but this time back up there. Good value, lots of choice and very handy for West End shows.
