We had a lovely pre- theatre dinner, food was very good, service a bit slow but staff polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others.
An excellent and extremely good value pre theatre dinner. Very good friendly service. To be highly recommended for going to 42nd. Street as it’s just across the road.
service and food very good. pleasant relaxed atmoshere. only complaint the white wine was served warm but in a bucket of ice so we waited for it to call down.
Bit busy and noisy at 7am with pre theatre goers but fine once it calmed down. Not surprising as the pre theatre menu is excellent value (order by 7pm). Food is guaranteed to be fresh and good quality, and service is friendly and efficient (food comes all at once) and you don't get chased from your table for a 2nd sitting, as happens in many other London restaurants.
Good choice on latest menu. Especially enjoyed smoked mackerel salad...plenty of fish! Champagne by the glass remains a good value aperitif compared to other restaurants.
Lovely food, very helpful staff & great ambience. The Boudin Noir was absolutely delicious, wish we hadn't shared this now!! We have visited many Cote Restaurants and as always they never disappoint.
Overall it was a good meal. The food was lovely, the restaurant was very busy so there was a slight wait for the food, but the service was still good.
Excellent service, I'm coeliac so asked about gluten free menu. Gave me a gluten free menu but the waiter new what dishes were gluten free on other menu which shows they know what they are serving.
Really enjoyed the visit to Cote , ideal for visiting Covent Garden and the theatres nearby. Slick service and good food at very reasonable prices for London.
Food, service and value were as good as they always are in Cote and the only reason it's not a 6 is the noise level.
Good experience - restaurant busy but service was very good - there were 4 of us - everyone enjoyed their food - very good value for money
Friendly service from the start. Not rushed between courses and given extra time to digest a very good main meal before ordering dessert. Reasonable price for a London restaurant. We pre booked for a Saturday eve and the experiance at Cote made a lovely start to our weekend .
Extremely courteous staff, food good as it usually is in all Cotes, plus we really enjoyed our free bottle of Chablis - what a bonus!
Great food, great service and great value. We had a totally enjoyable family evening, a big thank you to all the staff. We will definitely be back
We went straight onto TripAdvisor to let them know that we had had a great meal in cosy surroundings with very attentive staff. The Giles family
We had a lovely meal. Before going to the Royal Opera House. Service was super speedy and staff were helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. Many thanks.
Great place to eat before going to a show. Good food and value and location, and fast service. Highly recommended. Been going there for years!
Great choice and value. We went for the early evening set meal and were most impressed. The food was very tasty and the venue was lovely. Would recommend
Great food, great prices, excellent staff. I would recommend this Côte Brasserie, don't know what the rest are like. If this is typical then definitely worth a visit .
This Covent Garden branch of Cote Brasserie is very buzzy with friendly, efficient staff. The food, as always, is consistently delicious (especially the chocolate mousse!) and very good value.
Food good. Service excellent. Nothing was any problem. First class. This the 5th time to use a Cotes at rhis location and Tunbridge Wells. Both very good
Varied and extensive menu. Food tasty. Jack of 'music' a real plus. A bit slow in bringing the bill. Staff friendly and polite. A good experience all round.
Excellent food and charming service! Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah!
Table was waiting when we arrived with no delay Courteous and friendly staff providing a good service Good quality food and a very reasonable price Would highly recommend for quality and value
As always, staff attention prompt and courteous and friendly, food well presented, tasty and competitively priced. I have been to several different branches of Cote and would recommend them to anyone. WELL DONE!!!
A good choice for a quiet dinner for two, providing one avoids the pre-theatre rush. Good food and attentive service made this a pleasant choice. We had booked for 1915, and by 1930 the hubbub had down and we were able to chat for a couple of hours over a relaxed meal.
The restaurant was very busy as it was pre theatre time on a Saturday evening, but the staff were very efficient and attentive. We didn’t have to wait for anything. The quality of the food was good as always.
Great value for money with the pre theatre deal & the staff were very pleasant & helpful with our disabled needs. I would recommend it.
Excellent food (as usual), quick service, lovely atmosphere. Have visited many Cote restaurants and this one was of the same standard as expected. Three course menu is very good value, smaller portions but fine for me.
Great food and great atmosphere. Good choice and the staff were very attentive. Will definitely recommended tp my friends and family. I look forward to the next time.
An excellent atmosphere and food before we went to the theatre. We have used this Cote before and always found a consistent standard of service even when it is busy.
We often eat in Cote in all different loacatilns. Can’t fault them, great value for money with regards to the fillet steak and a gluten free menu.
I have dined here many times and it is always good. The pork shoulder confit was excellent and the side of butternut squash was even better!
good value for the set menu but the smoked salmon starter was smothered with creme fraise!!! too much. when pointed out, it was replaces which was appreciated. the staff were nice and the young man who served us was very pleasant.
Interesting, reliable food, with something for everyone on the menu. Excellent, cheerful service, too, which all makes for a pleasant experience and a great value meal.
Food was very good - you know what to expect at Cote. The restaurant was really busy and it took a while to get the bill but a good meal.
Great food and service as always, little bit rushed but we had a show to get to so it wasn't a problem. Been here many times and will be back.
Quite pleasant but the food generally did not taste as good as the same food at other Cote Brasseries. Also a general comment is that sadly the whole meal is now getting too expensive primarily down to the cost of wine.
This restaurant delivers just what it promises - good food served fast. We regularly use it for pre-theatre meals and although they are always packed to the rafters, they manage to serve us quickly and with a smile. Yes, it can be noisy and some tables a little cramped but knowing you can get reliable service and good food is worth it. Other restaurant chains take note!
As with all Cote restaurants there was a consistency of quality which was much appreciated; good atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food served promptly enabling us to get to the theatre on time!
Our food was good but service was really not. Our table had been forced into a space that was right in the way, meaning I’ve been bashed in the head about 14 times by passing waiters. My friend requested a very small amendment to her main meal which was not adhered to, her food was then taken off her for another 10 mins whilst we sat waiting and my meal started to get cold. The staff changed mid way through our meal and no one seemed to know what was going on by the time we asked for the bill. Such a shame as we chose Cote over other options based on a free bottle of wine offer I had been sent, honestly I don’t think it was worth the hassle.
Excellent service. Very good value. There was attention from the minute we entered and served with a smile. It makes such a difference to the overall experience.
Super quick delivery of food apart from one of our group whose order they had misplaced. However they were lovely and soon sorted it out and make a gesture discount on the bill at the end. Food was just right for pre-theatre meal
Last night five of us had a pre-theatre dinner at Cote Brasserie in Tavistock Street, Covent Garden. It is absolutely delicious and great value for money and a perfect way to begin our evening out.
Too many tables crammed in uncomfortable experience.Second time at this branch of the chain,at same table, really these two 'corridor' tables need to be removed.Ruins an overwise good experience.
Very busy for pre-theatre but excellent food and prompt service. I was early but staff couldn't do enough to accommodate me. Never had a bad meal at Cote.
Excellent value and great for a pre-theatre meal but be sure to book as the restaurant gets very busy around 5.15pm. The best dessert is the dark chocolate pot on the pre-theatre menu.
For the first time in ages, at 6.30pm they did not have a couple of the set menu choices available which was unusual. However food and service good as always
A very poor experience of a usually very good restaurant. Slow service, not enough staff for the number of customers, incorrect bill (voucher not applied despite multiple conversations).
The choice and quality of the food was good. The location is excellent. Nice buzzy atmosphere but spoiled by there being too many tables crammed in.
