We were delighted with our meal and your friendly service. Thanks you. To be constructive, the Ladies’ facilities were lacking, I thought,in freshness. I wonder how often it is checked?
A very busy restaurant in the heart of theatre land so booking in advance is strongly recommended but that said the staff here are invariably cheerful and helpful and the menu always very good and varied from time to time. I have a few favourite Côte sites and this is one. With any “chain” restaurant you are somewhat at the mercy of the staff but never a problem here.
Cote is the perfect spot for a quick bite before a show. Great service, value for money and pleasant atmosphere. Recommended! Menu has something for everyone and drinks menu is substantial
Very efficient , friendly waitress, very good value for money. Quick service ahead of theatre booking
Not impressed. Fruit salad was served st same time as scrambled egg so had to have as a ‘dessert’. Fruit was on the turn, very acidic especially melon
Fantastic place Food was amazing so was service will definitely be going back
Great food, quick service, nice atmosphere. We booked but were late, had a nice table by the window. Good choice of food. We did have to ask for our deserts to hurry up as we were going to the theatre and they then arrived promptly , very friendly staff.
The food was tasty and most of the food came out very promptly which was handy as we were very pressed for time as was pre-theatre meal. However side orders came out when we had almost finished the mains and there was no apology. I would have deducted some tip but that was included so had no option there.
We were greeted by a lovely lady who was more than happy to squat on the floor to take a photograph of 7 ladies enjoying their pre-theatre meal. The portions were generous in size and the meals were delicious. The customer service was first class and we will be recommending you to our friends.
Once again a super evening at Cote Covent Garden after Don Quixote with the Royal Ballet at the ROH. Delicious escalope de veau and fresh salmon with ratatouille, just perfect. To finish, the best Creme Caramel ever. Great atmosphere and excellent service. Voila !
The general problem about Cote is that it tends to be noisy. This one is not so bad as long as you're not in the main part. We were round the back a bit so it was fine. The food is very nice - service a little slow meant that we couldn't have a dessert - but we did manage coffee. There are nice things to choose from on the menus and the food is always good.
The ambiance was friendly and relaxed and the food delightful. The accompanying wine was moreish! The Creme Caramel is to die for! You always know what you get with Côte & I’m never disappointed.
So great to visit a proper Côte after my terrible experience at the Marlow branch a couple of weeks ago. Hats off to all the staff - front and back of house. Thats how you do it! Suggest you bus the Marlow staff to Tavistock Street to show them how it should be done.
Great atmosphere, good priced food and a friendly attentive staff. Made for a lovely relaxing evening with friends.
Always go to Cote when we go to the theatre. Never disappointed always consistent in every way. Excellent choice on alacarte and pre theatre menus and affordable.
A very enjoyable meal. A couple of things were off the menu when we came order but these small problems were dealt with professionally
Great food and service . Spent a very pleasant afternoon at Cote in Covent Garden . The atmosphere was very relaxed . It was a busy afternoon but we weren’t rushed . Will definitely return .
Excellent service, wide choice on the menu, food first class
Wonderful range of good quality food and a very reasonable price. Fantastic speedy service and excellent location for theatre land. The whole family loved it! Well done Côte!
Very nice leisurely lunch at Cote Covent Garden. All the food we had was good and the waiter was very pleasant. All in all a good venue for our long overdue get-together.
Cote never fails in serving outstanding French food combined with friendly staff, providing excellent value for money. It is so good that we are now regular guests here! Thank you, Cote! Highly recommend!!
Great location and buzzy atmosphere. Set menu for pre theatre meal which is brilliant. Excellent quality and choice. Value for money in central London. Busy but efficient.
Delicious food with excellent service. My wife required Gluten Free food which was no problem what so ever.
Very pleasant evening with a nice welcome and buzzy atmosphere Please tell me the name of the St. Emilion Gran Cru wine -it was lovely
Excellent service and the best steak we have had overall excellent.
Very pleasant staff, excellent service and great food!! Great for pre or post theatre visits. Atmosphere was very conducive to a most pleasant and enjoyable experience Will certainly go again
We had a big group on Friday night (under Polly Gregory) we had a fabulous blonde haired waitress, who I would love to thank for looking after us all - I know big groups can be a nightmare !!! Food was fab!
We have not finished meal yet but food good service excellent
Great service, friendly team and good food! A value for money pre-performance dinner. The complementary drink on arrival was just a lovely touch for my son’s birthday!
Wonderful meal and experience . Will definitely be returning. Again, and again, and again...
Had booked a table which is essential. Good service. Reasonable food. Very squashed in an extremely busy restaurant. We were sat by door so cold. The door arrangements need sorting. Toilets very shabby.
I returned here after 3 years, as the 1st experience was excellent & I subsequently recommended the restaurant to several other people. This time, the food was not as good and the service very hurried. I realise that it was pre-theatre but so was my first visit. It was evident that tables of more than 2 persons, were given more time between courses.
Our second visit to this excellant restaurant. Close to several theatres we have now used it for pre- and post theatre meals. Varied menu, attentive service and quality food.
Lovely welcome. Service was marred by our loud n pushy waiter. Food was wonderful.
Great food and service. Complimentary glass of bubbles and dessert as it was my partners birthday. Always pleased with Cote. Consistent standards are maintained which means I always have had a good customer experience
Delicious food & excellent service - a really lovely meal!
Very enjoyable visit. The food and service was very good as it was the last time we visited.
Waiting staff were friendly and efficient. Food was delicious. Great atmosphere. Menu has lots to choose from and the pre theatre dinner menu is really good value.
Good tasty food. Nice, reasonably-priced wine. Visit somewhat spoiled by a lengthy wait for a cup of coffee at the end of the meal. Even when we asked about it, it did not arrive straight away.
As always a very good venue in Central London. Simple , but good, food and wine all at a good price
In London for two days to celebrate my birthday. Went to Cote Brasserie Covent Garden on 14 Feb pre theatre and had a brilliant meal. Complementary blood orange martinis because we booked in advance and ordered from the a la carte menu. My hubby had cod goujons and two bottles of Meteor beer. I had Duck breast with dauphinois potatoes and carrots with a glass of red house wine. We shared Coupe noir ( vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate sauce) - which was amazing. Very good service- thank you
A busy Friday and staff very efficient and pleasant with good service. The food was the usual Cotè good quality . A varied menu that caters well for gluten free requirements.
The food was delicious, we ate from the set menu which was very good value for money, the service was excellent even though the restaurant was full.
As always great speedy service. Meal excellent. We always have a meal in cotes when we go to the opera house and have never been disappointed
May Pre Theatre menu had excellent choice. We had Grilled Sardines & Charcuterie Board for starter, Sea Bream for main and then classic Creme Caramel & Iced Berries for dessert. The starter & main meal were cooked to perfection. The staff were efficient and friendly and service spot on.
Amazing food, very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great service! Very recommend
Lovely food served piping hot and without delay, coupled with excellent friendly service. Prices were higher than usual but that's London for you ! The 12.5% service charge, albeit optional, is not popular with small groups of diners though personally it amounts to less than I would normally tip got good service anyway.
Very good service and excellent food. We had a booking at 10 PM, after a show, and it was perfect with the small dishes, we got our food quickly and simultaneously (party of 8).
Always love eating in Cote - consistently good although today the service was uncharacteristically surly and unfriendly. The food quality was, however, as good as ever.
Usual pleasant ambiance. Food very good as always and staff attentive. Very nice to have a glass of Kir. Look forward to the next meal! J
