Good food, good service but very noisy. Cote remains good value. The menu contains enough variety to please everyone and manages to retain a continental vibe that is very pleasing

Great food as always! Complimentary Kir Royales went down a treat. Best pre theatre restaurant in London. So many locations to select from and love that the menu changes monthly.

As always, Cote delivers great food at great value. The service is great too. We really love this place and are looking forward to coming back.

Busy pre-theatre meal, staff very welcoming, good menu, very prompt service. Handy for some theatres and Covent Garden area of London. Have eaten at this restaurant before and is usually a good standard.

Food delicious as always. Service slightly slow but maybe the staff realised it was ‘ladies who lunch’ and not in a hurray . Thankyou very much!

Another very enjoyable lunch at Cote. We had lunch special which was very delicious and reasonably priced. the staff were very pleasant as always. One small criticism would be that the waiter offered us chips as an accompaniment but the course came with potatoes? Too much potato!

Good service, nice food and excellent value. We had haddock parmentier (well-prepared fish pie) with a glass of wine and deserts (light chocolate mousse and tangy lemon sorbet). The pre-theatre menu was great value for money.

Good value pre-theatre menu; prompt,friendly and efficient service. Recommended if you're looking for a reasonably priced, good value pre- theatre meal. Creme caramel is always good!

Always great food regularly visit a cote restaurant and have never been disappointed. Weather it is breakfast, lunch or dinner. Easy to book on line.

The food and service were excellent as always. However, there was not heating and it was a particularly cold day so that made it hard to enjoy our experience at Cote.

Our first visit to Cote Brasserie Covent Garden- and on the coldest day of the winter! Staff excelled by providing extra halogen heaters throughout the restaurant. Best of all hot, delicious food. The fish stew for my partner and the fish pie for myself were exactly what we needed. So tasty! We shall be returning!

I am an 89 year old visitor from NZ and enjoyed my delicious meal in your warm comfortable restaurant with my friends before our visit to the theatre. Thank you.

Very good food and service - standard Cote pre theatre set menu, which we have enjoyed elsewhere, but not in this restaurant as it has usually been full. Certainly became very busy towards the end of our session, but staff seemed to cope well. Rather tight seating space in a narrow corridor.

The service and food were top class! Would definitely recommend and return. Part of my Mum’s birthday treat and they made her feel very special.

Love the food at Cote, doesn't where you go I've never had a bad meal and Tavistock St is a lovely setting. Celebrated our anniversary, ask for some specialist treatment and got it from the wonderful team...highly recommend a visit...

Food was delicious and service for our disabled guest amazing. The staff could not have done more to make us feel at ease and were so helpful. Ramp was provided for wheelchair access and there was an accessible loo. Thank you.

Excellent, very buzzy, very busy pre theatre. Declicious food, sadly no time for dessert. But an excellent restaurant to come to pre performance for theatre or Covent Garden.

Great food and very good value for money. Courteous and cheerful staff. Plenty of time to eat before the theatre. Not rushed but equally not slow. A lovely venue.

Staff are friendly and efficient and the food is great. We went when it was blowing a blizzard outside with winds from Siberia - and consequently it was a bit on the cool side inside nearer the door. But hey, that weather is not normal for London - so we didn't take it personally :)

We had a lovely pre Theatre meal here last night. I would definitely recommend Cote Brasserie Tavistock Street. It is good, reliable food and very reasonably priced. And the Apple Crumble is to die for!!

excellent food, good service thus enabling me to get to the Opera House on time following a tasty and a very good value pre-theatre meal, will definitely come back again

Admittedly we visited on one of the coldest days of the year but the temperature in the restaurant was on the chilly side and extra heating did not seem to be having much effect. Otherwise the food and service were very good. We especially like the Tavistock Street branch as it is very handy for a lot of theatres. Hopefully on our next visit it won't be so cold.

Great combination of delicious traditional French dishes, and very efficient charming service only 3 minutes walk from the Royal Opera House. Best possible start to the evening.

Another great experience at Cote. Lovely dinner with friends with excellent service. Our waiter was very polite and helpful. We all had different dishes and agreed they were all delicious

I love cote, although a chain restaurant you always feel like you are having something very special. Food is always delicious and cooked to perfection. It has a changing menu so repeat visits do not let you get bored.

Very enjoyable. We are glad we booked as the restaurant filled up with pre matinee theatregoers. We were greeted at the door and looked after very attentively by a very charming young waiter. Food was freshly cooked and tasty. Egg Benedict to be recommended as well as the moules frites

A very enjoyable meal in good company. The French onion soup and Boeuf Bourguinonne were excellent and my fellow diners enjoyed Pork Belly and a fish dish.

Had to wait a couple of minutes to be seated but after that service and food both very good. Particularly enjoyed the chicken with provencale sauce

My friend and I enjoyed breakfast and received delicious food and excellent service. We were able to relax and enjoy our meal and weren't hurried for the table to be turned as happens in some restaurants.

Great food, well presented and tasty, excellent vale esp for London, friendly and obliging staff, handy location for all theatres in Strand. Would def go back.

Pre theatre menus excellent value for money. Restaurant very busy and the tables are too close together. Also not enough toilets for the size of the restaurant.

As usual food was enjoyable and service helpful. Only downside the restaurant was so cold, admittedly it was snowing but there didn't seem to be any heating.

Enjoyed our meal. Would be happy if there was more of a gap between courses. This would make it more of an experience than a function to eat.

Lovely meal after seeing a West End Show. Was recommended by a friend and would recommend Cotes to other friends. Look forward to visiting London again.

Very pleasant restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere, lovely staff, delicious food. Cote is a great chain and keeps me coming back, exploring different locations of their restaurants.

Very good food, ambiance and service. The host at the door was super personable and made us feel very welcome even though the restaurant was very busy and he was crearly under pressure. Waitress was nice but we had to ask for the pre-theatre menu. It was not offer even though it was 6 pm. At the end we ordered from the a la carte menu but it would have been nice to not have to ask. However that’s just a minor flow in an otherwise lovely dining experience. The food is delicious but the staff is even better. We will be back. Thanks.

Excellent food, wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff - thoroughly enjoyable. So easy to book and easy to find. Highly recommended. Ideally situated for all theatres in West End.

We had to wait a long time for our first course. There wasn't an explanation or apology. Our waiter seemed pretty clueless. He looked around but didn't see.

Very friendly staff, gave us the table we had requested, at the back in a quiet corner & let us linger over the meal. Excellent service ( only one slip- bringing a dish that wasn't requested, instead of one person's mains- but quickly rectified) meant we enjoyed our annual meal together here and found it very good value too.

The staff at Cote Covent Garden Tavistock street were wonderful. We had booked a pre theatre dinner and were delayed because of a train cancellation. Not only did they manage to fit us into a crowded restaurant, but we were able to enjoy a delicious meal served in record time! Absolutely brilliant service. Thank you.

Not one of the better experiences at this branch of cote. Fortunately I had booked in advance the restaurant was extremely busy. We were shown to our table which was next to a door with a wide gap and on one of the coldest days of the year a gale was blowing through it We ate our meal and left as quickly as possible.
