Good service. Pre-theatre menu just right. Had asparagus soup followed by haddock. Wife had pork loin then chicken, both delicious. Would certainly come back again.

Service was good but the food was not up to previous meals. Maybe they are cutting back because of competition. However it was very busy. The mackerel and beetroot get 3/10 the steak frites 6/10

We had booked a table for kate on a Monday night - having been at Royal Opera House performance. Our table was fine - but generally felt late tables were a nuisance. Restaurant not at all full, but others arriving at same time turned away.

We always enjoy meals in Cote restaurants & this is our second lunchtime visit to this one before going to the theatre. The wine is always good, Creme caramel to die for & the staff always helpful & smartly dressed. We also enjoy the French style food & ambiance. Unfortunately our local Cote in Horsham is currently still undergoing repair following a fire & we hope it will soon reopen.

We visited the restaurant prior to going to the theatre, having booked early. Staff were very helpful and polite, service was very good, the food and wine was excellent and we were not rushed. By the time we left they were queueing at the door. This is a very popular restaurant and I would definitely recommend. I would have given 6 but for the stairs down to the toilets. A bit steep for bad knees.

Great food, but service was too slow, even though we had specifically mentioned that we were going to a show that evening. Service at the one in Kensington is usually faster.

Not impressed really, it was 6.30pm on a Tuesday evening and they had no salmon or boeuf bourguignon and my glass of wine was warm. Such a shame because I’ve not had a bad experience in any other Cote restaurant

Lunch with a friend. Not too busy which was good but what has happened to their basic set menu? Only offered either the a la Carte or a “prestige set menu” at £16.95 for 2 courses. Food was not that much better than the cheaper set menu we are used to. Might have to rethink going there.

I have often been to Cote before. Service and food is consistently good. I chose whitebait this time which were really excellent but I was a little disappointed in the steak. Not the right choice for me I think although my companion was very satisfied with hers. Really crispy tasty chips and great spinach with just the right amount of nutmeg. Pudding of iced berries with white chocolate sauce was wonderful, a combination I shall steal to use at home. Service good, as usual, attentive but not overpowering. Will go again and a bill of £21 each will definitely not break the bank . Excellent value.

Very busy - this was to be expected pre-theatre - but service was efficient and food arrived promptly. Good value too. However, I object to being directed to pay a 12.5% service charge. Surely it is at the discretion of the customer to decide on an appropriate tip...?

This was perfectly nice and pleasant evening meal. The service was fine and friendly and the food good value for money. The wine was exceptional and for £17 a bottle it is difficult to go wrong. One could say the reataurant was very noisey but it was a very busy time at just pre theatre and ROH.. We would definitely return. S

Myself and my partner came here for my birthday weekend away in London and decided to go to Côte in Covent Garden as I’ve heard good reviews and we’re also regular visitors to Côte in Exeter. However, The experience from stepping in the door and sitting down at our delightfully placed table was outstanding from the get go. I’ve always been shocked with the high standard of customer service from Côte employees but the exceptional level of customer service to make my birthday date night unforgettable was beyond my expectations. The food as always was exquisite, the whole evening was an absolute delight. Thank you to all staff including Dorald G and Jessica for making my evening the best one yet. Every restaurant from now on has some serious sucking up to do haha. Thanks again, from Megan & Callum Gent x :)

The staff and ambience of usual high quality but the service was rather slow. I appreciate that it was pre theatre dining but we were rushed to finish our meal in time for the theatre and had to sacrifice our desserts.

Great service, very good food and very good value. There was a delay with serving our main course. The supervisor was aware and apologised more than once. As an apology we were offered complimentary puddings from the set menu. It came quickly. We were going to a matinee and had enough time once everything had been resolved. Would recommend and visit this Cote again.

I took guests visiting London here after reading the reviews and although the food was tasty and staff pleasant enough, the wait time was ridiculously long. There was no warning or apology for how long we waited but it was about 1 hour for starters, then another hour to mains and about 45 minutes for dessert. The beer was served Lukewarm and the dinner wasn’t hot either. They took ages to clear the table and we weren’t offered fresh drinks at all throughout our meal. The dessert was really tasty but we didn’t really fancy it after waiting so long. I must point out these long wait times were on a Wednesday evening when it wasn’t particularly busy either. Overall disappointing.

Always love eating at a Cote. Great for especially for coeliacs. Lots of choice and they take gluten free seriously which is great. Staff were lovely and friendly and we even got a drink on the house as it was my Dad’s 80th birthday.
