Tried the breakfast crepe today! very nicely put together and something a little different. Cote still leads the 'chains' on value and quality!
Great service and food quality at affordable prices to be in Central London. Totally worth trying if you are walking around or before/after a theatre show
Very good pre-theatre dinner menu which was very much to the satisfaction of group with varying tastes. Very attentive service and good value for money. Would definitely pay a return visit!
Staff Good could not do enough for us, Menu was value for money and meal just the right size, will try the branch in royal tunbridge wells next.
Great customer service, a good choice of set menus at a very reasonable price. Outside pavement seating against the building line. Food was of a good standard, overall a very good experience.
Food and service very good. One of our party had a birthday which had not been pre-announced so we were very suprised and impressed to each receive a glass of Kir Royale on the house plus a free dessert with candle for the birthday girl.
Helpful and attentive staff. Great location for Theatre Land and other attractions at Covent Garden. Reasonable value for money, godd menu choice with early evening options
We had a delicious meal from the new set menu, the staff were very friendly and attentive in spite of it being extremely busy. We will book Cote again!
The restaurant was hugely busy so it was inevitable the service would take a bit of time. However the staff were charming at all times
I spent my birthday evening at Cote Tavistock st prior to the theater. The service was very good I even had a small cake and birthday singing.
We booked at peak pre-theatre time and were served efficiently. Our fourgasse was delivered promptly but some of it was cold inside suggesting it was served too quickly. A side of beans had to be sent back as they were more raw than al dente. Another sign of rushed delivery to the table. The rest was fine and the beans deleted from the bill without asking. Cote is good restaurant but the usual standards suffer under pressure of the pre- theatre rush. I am sure to return but will try to avoid the busiest times.
Breakfast in centre of town with a good friend. Excellent food, value and service.
Excellent as usual. Good food and very good service by pleasant people. Great value for money and conveniently located for shopping or a theatre trip
Loved the new set menu, seafood linguine was delicious and despite being really busy the service was very good. A lovely evening, will be back
Really great service and food. We really enjoy coming here as the staff are superb. I cannot fault it. Such a good experience. We always come back
Good service. Nice food. Great value. Can't think of anything that wasn't as I anticipated. I should perhaps add that we lunched from 2.15 for a couple of hours, so the restaurant wasn't very busy for most of it.
too busy and too cramped ( tables too close together) Staff too busy; definitely not as helpful or attentive as usual. food was not bad.
I booked for a pre theatre dinner for my husband's birthday. Great atmosphere, the service was excellent and the food was delicious even though it was the cheapest set menu for 3 courses. Our waiter was very attentive and chatty and we really loved the whole experience. I would definitely recommend the restaurant. Thank you.
Ambience was good and food. The tables are a little cramped and we were put next to another full table whilst plenty of others were free. Service good.
Food was very good and the waiter did his best in the pre-theatre rush, but the desserts arrived too late for us to eat them.
All in all great! The staff members were fast, accommodating and polite. The food was very well presented and delicious and the atmosphere quite and pleasant although I need to point out that was a Monday afternoon. The whole experience was a delight.
Had the set breakfast menu and chose the vegetarian option - delicious all around! Had coffees and juice too, great value and lovely to sit outside in the sun.
The food and service was excellent, but adding gratuities at 12.5 percent is not acceptable. It should be the customers decision to give a tip or not.
Fab food as usual shame about the service. One of our party got something wrong with main and had to wait over 12 minutes. By which time others had nearly finished eating!
Lovely buzzy atmosphere, good food, good service and great prices. As a member of their loyalty club, always a bonus to receive complimentary birthday drink
We very much enjoyed our lunch, lovely atmosphere, food and service very good. We also thought the menu choices and price of the set menu was excellent.
We were attending a Matinee @ the Peacock Theatre in Kingsway. I booked a table for after the matinee. Upon arrival we received a warm and friendly welcome and were shown to our table. Our waiter and waitress were both excellent, and brought the complementary filtered water immediately. There are now so many delicious dishes on the set menu and with the addition of the premium set menu for a little extra cost, it is now even more difficult than ever to make a choice. For starters we had the wonderful bread and olives followed by the mackerel and beetroot salad & my partner the smoked mountain ham and celeriac salad, & for main course I had a steak & salad, my partner had the haddock with flageolet beans. The food was beautifully presented, and served immediately after cooking i.e. the French fries were beautifully crisp, the salads fresh and the dressing superb. All in all this made for the perfect experience, The food, The service, and the atmosphere on a wet Saturday afternoon in May, really lifted our spirits all together made for a wonderful meal.
Fire alarm went off a few times during lunch service. No member of staff alerted customers if it was a test or false alarm. Hot drinks and food both took a long time which meant we had to pay straight away and were rushed to go to matinee performance. Both hot drinks and food were sadly warm, not hot, on arrival to table. I am normally very impressed by standard of food at cote and can honestly say I've never had a bad meal there. Today was a bad experience and not sure I would go to this branch again.
Really lovely staff and the food was great. Love this chain and always a lovely atmosphere . Belly of pork well done is delicious. Close to Covent Garden to all in all perfect
Great meal before going the theatre in yet another visit to this branch. The restaurant was as busy as you would expect at this time but we got great service and had time for a delicious creme caramel before rushing to the theatre
Delicious meal while visiting Covent Garden. WE had the 3 course menu which is always excellent value. The restaurant was extremely busy but the service was really good and we didn't have too wait too long to be served
Always busy here but a few mix ups on orders....food good and not rushed for us to leave table which is good. Cote always have a reliable menu.
The perfect fusion of fantastic cuisine and superb service. If I had to fault anything, it is too popular , which is no complaint at all. Keep it up.
Great food and service as always whenever I need to entertain last minute friends from out of town this is my go to restaurant. Never had anything but good food and service in every one :-)
Great service which was friendly, helpful and attentive without feeling rushed. Good value with set menu; food hot and tasty. Lots of seafood in the seafood linguine. Perfect location for pre theatre dining.
Great food with a good atmosphere. Service was not up to its usual standard, seemed like they could not cope with it being quite so busy in the pre-theatre rush.
Staff, atmosphere and location great.... but food was very average. We chose the pre theatre menu, two of us had the steak and whilst one was tender the other was tough and chewy. With the choice available in this area I won’t be rushing back.
Excellent service & outstanding food & value for money. Staff very cheerful & attentative. A wonderful eating experience. Will certainly book Cote again & excellent for pre theatre dining!
A very pleasant environment and a relaxed atmosphere. For relaxed, read slow service. This is OK if you have all day but not if you are on a schedule. The food was good but did not stay warm, the plates needed to be heated. Overall it was reasonable value for money.
Excellent service and delicious food. Lovely to see some new additions to the already great menu. Restaurant very busy but service quick without feeling rushed. Another great experience at Cote
Our table was ready for us. The restaurant was full and since most if not all the diners were having dinner before the theatre, the place was manic. The staff, however still had time to talk and it was clear that the restaurant had ‘things down to a t'. The food was good and when we next go to any of the theatres nearby this will be our first choice of restaurant.
Brilliant as always . Great food, great service (and fast) and a great price. This restaurant chain is simply the best. Go there and soon (I will)!
Service was good but food a bit underwhelming, with tough steak. Menu could do with a revamp as it never seems to change other than seasonal specials. Noisy.
I have been to this Cote bistro many times. Th food is always good and the service excellent. It is very good value for money.
Very efficient. Having booked a table earlier we were shown to it without waiting. The food as always very good. The only down side was the noise which made conversation at little difficult.
Generally good and food nice and reasonable value, service a little slow but staff friendly, made a small mistake with order but not a big problem.
Always busy and reliably providing a good standard of food and service. I use on a regular basis for personal (not business) lunches. A firm favourite.
Good service, food hot when it was brought to the table. We were a table of 9 and we were all satisfied with our food.
Excellent friendly service. We were particularly pleased with the menu and the quality of the food. Prices have altered recently but it is still very good value.
Cote is always consistent in quality, variety and cost of food. My only criticism is that the restaurant in Tavistock Street is very noisy; however it does have a good ambience.
