The food was very good the service was friendly, if a bit slow. the restaurant was busy on our arrival and we were asked to wait while our table was prepared for us. We had booked and arrived 5 mins early. after about 7.15 many left and the place calmed down.

Our table was not ready when we arrived so when we were seated, we felt a bit rushed as this was a pre theatre booking. The staff were friendly, the service was good, the food was nice and overall it was good value😃

Our preferred dining venue in Covent Garden! Great location - especially if you can grab an outside table!! Delicious food; fixed price menus are a bargain. Fabulous service from our waiter, James (on our outside table 😏) Looking forward to our next visit 👍👍

We had the Prestidge set menu. It was really good value for money no scrimping on portions. Plus it was delicious. We would thoroughly recommend it. Plus definitely come again.

Poor service. Once the main course arrived no waiter came to check on us and it took ages to get the dessert menu. Not busy!

Cheerful staff and a high standard of food always maintained. We mixed our choices from the a la Carter and set menus and it was no problem. We had two children with us who had plenty of choice and enjoyed their three courses.

I was treating my husband for his birthday prior to going to see 42nd Street across from the restaurant. The welcome and attention from the staff was wonderful. The menu was amazing and we were spoilt for choice! We both had a 3 course meal and everything looked and tasted incredible. Thank you.

Went for anniversary meal, the waitress bought out a dessert at the end of the meal that we hadn’t asked for saying happy anniversary, we assumed it was complimentary as it wasn’t something we ordered, but when we got the bill we had been charged for it.

I had a marvellous meal. I was ‘celebrating’ my husbands 58th birthday on my own as he had passed away a few months earlier. Ben and the team made me feel so welcome and my meal was wonderful. I will definitely visit again the next time I am in London.

Once again I chose this branch of cote to have my birthday celebratins. I pre booked a table for my party of 12. Upon arrival my guests all received a warm and friendly welcome and shown to the table. Our waiter and waitress were both excellent, and brought the complementary and kir royale filtered water immediately. There are now so many delicious dishes on the set menu and with the addition of the premium set menu for a little extra cost. In fact there was somthing for everyones tatse. I must congratulate the kitchen. as my guests had chosen many different dishes the synchronicity in which they were served and the fact they all arrived at the table together was excellent. The food was beautifully presented and served immediately after cooking i.e. the French fries were beautifully crisp, the salads fresh and the dressing superb. All in all this made for the perfect experience, The food, The service, and the atmosphere made a special occation even better all together made for a wonderful memorable day.

Too busy. Tables far too close together. No privacy. Pervading sense of stress with the not smiling unfriendly staff. Toilet facilities inadequate and filthy. Food good but spoilt by the atmosphere. Service charge astronomical.

We enjoyed the pre-theatre menu and were in an out after 3 courses, in an hour. As always, the food was good and the service was friendly and efficient. The only slight snag was that their card machine / connection wasn’t working so it was cash only that night, but they did make us aware of this as we arrived, so we had chance to either nip out and get cash, or presumably go elsewhere. I always eat at Côte when seeing West End shows as they are great value for money, especially for Central London.

Great restaurant. Unfortunately the seafood dishes weren’t up to their regular standard today. And then the card payment system went down which meant we had to scrounge cash together between friends. Not their finest hour, but I know from experience that 9/10 visits to Cote are superb.

I have eaten in this restaurant on a number of occasions and always been very happy with the food and the service. On this occasion we found our waiter somewhat aloof and not very personable, particularly when asked to take a picture as we were celebrating a birthday! The noise level is quite high but the atmosphere good and always busy. Thank you

It was a warm day but pleasantly cool in the restaurant with doors open and good a flow of air. It was my first visit to Tavistock Street Cote which was more spacious than many with a lot of natural light. Food good as always. Although it was very busy the staff coped well and were pleasant and helpful.

When my 24 year old son says ‘Mum, yours is much nicer’ that speaks volumes! I have eaten at many Cotes, though the last visit was a little while ago and had never ever had a disappointing meal (even as an undercover diner) but the standard of food has notably dropped. Our meals were not nice and we both left disappointed! Me, even more so because I had led my son to believe that it was too nosh. Not so anymore!!

We had an excellent experience at Cote, Covent Garden. The staff made us very welcome and the food was delicious and quick in coming to the table. It was my friend's birthday and once they knew, we were given a complimentary kir royale and the dessert came accompanied by 5 singing waiters! Absolutely fab!

Warm welcome & round table as requested but it soon became VERY busy so service & food were not brilliant. Green slush under the not very warm sea bass swamped the dish. Rabbit pie was good. Steak frites was ok.

My experience at cote was once again a very enjoyable experience. The food is always of extremely high quality and very delicious. The value for money is also excellent. £16.95 for the prestige menu, enabling me to have calamari for starter and pork belly for main. The ambiance is always great, neither not too loud or too quiet. We were even lucky enough to listen to a saxophone street performer during our meal which was a bonus. Highly recommend cote as always.

Came here for pre-theatre dinner on a Thursday evening and am so glad I reserved! Friendly staff, good set menus (nice to have the choice between a "normal" set menu and the "Prestige" set menu too). Starters came promptly but mains took a while, and we didn't have time for desserts in the end. Waitress also forgot my drink. For mains we had sea bream which was delicious, and the ribeye steak which was a bit tough although still pink. Overall it was a reasonably nice and reasonably priced meal!
