Efficient and attentive wait staff. Usual Cote menu made better with the option of January specials and a Prestige 2/3 course package. However the portion size of the Jan fish dish from the specials was insultingly small. Perhaps it had come across from the Kiddies Menu! Or maybe Cote's new year resolution is to reduce the portion size? So although the food was nice, in value terms the lunch disappointed .

Cote offers good value, there is consistent quality. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The sea bass main with fennel was exceptionally good. As usual the creme caramel was good.

The COTE set lunch menu invariably offers tasty selection of dishes to suit most tastes and yesterday was no exception. Very good value too in pleasant surroundings with good service. I would particularly commend the French onion soup.

I took a family of four out to a pre theatre supper at Cote in Tavistock Street ( a favourite haunt of mine from my days on Mamma Mia ) and everything was perfect . We each had 2 courses and everyone agreed the food was wonderful . The staff were friendly , even though the place was packed and they were rushed off their feet , and they were particularly kind to the children . Only one word of caution , the ladies loos could do with a bit of an overhaul! A thoroughly enjoyable pre show dinner , and thanks to all concerned.

Excellent experience at Cote. We both ate off the ' pre theatre ' menu which was well judged and delicious. The service, as ever was first class - attentive without being pushy. Still one of the best value places to eat.

Actually it was beter than a 4 (I'd say it was a 5) for three of my party of four - the pre-theatre menus were as good as ever - but one of us decided to order a steak off the a la carte - he wanted it RARE - and it came but it was only browned on the outside and absolutely RAW inside, not RARE but RAW. So he sent it back (rightly) and they did another and it came back EXACTLY the same. They said that's how they did them! Come on, RARE should not be RAW. Rare is bloody but not cold and uncooked. There was no blood in this, it was still raw and uncuttable. So he sent it back again and in the end he opted for chicken and chips. I wish he'd gone for the pre-theatre menu like us as it was (as ususl) very good value. LESSON - during the pre-theatre hours, do actually order from the pre-theatre menu.

A great restaurant for a festive get together with friends. We were 10 mins late, it wasn’t an issue. As usual, Côte has a very traditional French atmosphere, and the team work very well together. The only minor criticism would have to be that the waiting team were not as attentive as is usually; not of any great importance, at this very busy time of year. Again, beautiful food, well presented, on hot plates. All reasonably priced. Many thanks.

We had a lovely time yesterday. We had a great lunch before going to the theatre. The service was welcoming and very good, leaving just enough time between courses. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you. Marian and sisters.

We had a table booked but unfortunately it was not available when we arrived. However, the Manager was very apologetic and immediately offered us all a complimentary Kir. The restaurant was extremely busy but we all felt we had been well looked after and, as usual, the food was of a very good standard. Still one of our favourite restaurants and we shall be enjoying a meal at Cote Brighton on christmas eve. Bonne noel to all the staff.

Our waiter was morose and fairly unpleasant. Didn't smile, didn't say to us did you enjoy your evening and Happy Christmas and to be honest couldn't really be bothered. No lamb parmentier on the menu even though our booking was at 6pm so two of our table had to rethink quickly. All the food ordered was good. Mentioned all of this to the nice guy at the bar and he said he would have a word. All the other waiters were smiley and cheery but not ours. Will continue to use Cote as I don't expect he will last too long! Thanks

Amazing evening. The service was exemplary throughout the entire visit from delightful and professional staff; and the food was divine with a wonderful choice. Wine choices also fabulous and covered every taste. Not only was the service on the night exceptional but I had requested a window table when I booked and our window table was ready for us, perfect. I cannot recommend Côte Covent Garden highly enough, the best night out, thank you.

I always enjoy Cote which ever I one I go to. Cote Tavistock is well positioned in Covent Garden. It has a lively atmosphere but there are still areas in the restaurant where you can find a quieter table. Food was excellent - simple but tasty. We had the Christmas menu which was well priced for eithet two or three courses. A good place to catch up with friends.
