Excellent food and choice of food , good quick service. Friendly staff.
Table was ready as booked. Theatre menu was very good with a wide choice. Cost was reasonable for the quality of food.
You were recommended to us by friends, we found are first experience very good and will definitely come again when we are in London
Food very good but restaurant very busy and seating on top of each other. Originally was seated by external door with a strong cold draught coming through it. We asked to be moved and was given the table next to the original table which still had draught.
the meal was excellent and the service was very efficient. most appropriate venue for performance at the Opera House at covent garden
We had asked for a table by the window, and it was ready for us when we arrived. We ordered from the April set menu and were spoilt for choice. And once we had decided what we wanted, what we ate was excellent.
Absolutely fantastic service for my mums birthday meal. Couldn’t fault the staff or meal at all, they really went above and beyond. Will certainly recommend and return again as soon as possible!
This is one of my favourite Côte's in the country, if I have friends visiting it will always be my restaurant of choice. Service was good as always and the food was absolutely delicious!! I enjoyed the Prestige Menu which is amazing value for money. As for the noise levels, today was weird, restaurant was quieter than usual except for one patron who wanted the whole restaurant to hear his conversation. He had a few stares from people and finally got the hint.
table was late, it happens, 2 glasses of prosecco brought "on the house" while sitting outside waiting (but there were 3 of us!); service was fine, except they forgot a glass of white wine till main course nearly finished despite several reminders; food was mostly fine, though my toulouse sausages were totally dried out and overcooked, but accompanying lentils delicious; place was very busy and staff do their best but maybe not enough of them upstairs or in kitchen?
Very busy of course, but the staff were great and we didn't feel pressured to vacate our table. Brunch is always good at Cote. We just wish there was a refill of coffee included in the price as the cups are small and always arrives earlier than the breakfast. Getting tea is better value as you get a whole pot. It wouldn't be much to give customers a refill.
always busy, but so convenient pre theatre. Good atmosphere and good food
Really great food with good atmosphere and a reasonable price.
I had booked so I can't comment on waiting times. I normally use the one in St Martins Field Lane and that one is much quieter than this one. Obviously this is in a more touristy area so that is only to be expected. The pre-theatre menu is very good value in my opinion. The quality of the food is good.
I reserved the round bench table at the back as we were a fairly large (and probably noisy) party. Didn’t expect they would have it reserved but it was. Lots of food variety for everyone and prices keen. Wine not a rip off either. Staff were attentive but not in our face. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
We were a party of 14 and the staff really looked after us
Great meal with friends and we got a nice offer which gave us complimentary gin & tonic when ordering order a main course per person from the A La Carte or Specials menu.
Can never say enough good things about this little Restaurant/Bistro. such excellent value for money. Been to it many, many times and never been disappointed.
Love the whitebait at Côte. Excellent cod. They were happy to replace the bacon ( which I do not eat) with veg.
Very disappointed. The warm Roquefort salad was cold (the sauce), the fish gouging were returned as the were cold .
We were early and grateful for being accommodated. The steak was not as good as usual but the chicken was very good. Service was good but a little rushed, if anything.
We took friends to Cote Covent Garden as we have been on other occasions and we are never disappointed. We had a lovely evening, good food and atmosphere
Great pre-opera meal. Quick service and good choice of dishes.
Cote is simply the best value and particularly in Covent Garden!
got a window seat which is very pleasant looking out into the passers by. excellent food and efficient service.
Booked pre show for my mum and niece, they had a fab meal and loved Côte it was there first time but certainly won’t be their last
We were a chaotic bunch of 8 trying to grab pre-opera supper. Being in the far corner, we were a bit forgotten about at the beginning, requiring having to find staff a few times. However we were all well-fed and well-watered in sufficient time. Thanks Ben and team!
Good food, reasonable prices and good service. We can recommend
Efficient and speady service as always before the theatre meal. Food was ok, our salmon as main was nice and hot, but with too many potatos which was a bit lack of imagination. All in all OK.
Table was draughty due to door opening frequently. Hot white chocolate sauce was served in short measure. Item added to bill which needed to be deleted. Disappointing, not up to usual high standard.
Excellent service, lovely food and a great location. Busy place so a bit noisy
Good value for money with wide choice of menus. Service good even when busy at lunchtime. Gets very full at popular times so best to book. Can be noisy when full
Great food, excellent service. Handy for the theatre. Highly recommended
Food great. Staff so friendly but still professional. Will definitely be back.
Very prompt service and good food. Will go again soon
Great for pre-theatre - always enjoy it... well except the noise level...
Excellent meal as usual, waitress was so lovely and very accommodating
A really good evening at exceptional value for money - thank you
Great food Fantastic service The waitress was excellent nothing was too much trouble for her
As usual the food was extremely good value for money. To have a three course meal with a glass of wine for less than £25-00, is a lesson to places like Jamie’s.
Great food. Pre theatre menu very good value. Go there!
Have been many times and always enjoy the visits. Food and service consistently good.
Excellent dinner, the March special, the Monkfish wrapped in bacon.
another great visit. I love this restaurant & am a regular visitor.
Lovely meal and seeing as we all arrived at different times and then asked for 4 separate bill staff were very accommodating
Another wonderful evening. Great food and service as always. We ate from the two pre-theatre menus, and it was all delicious. Only criticism was that our table was rather squashed in, a little more space between tables would have been nice.
As usual pretty good bistro brasserie feel - well run business
Good service and one of the best steaks I have tasted for a while. Would have given Cote full marks but where we were sitting was a little cramped and there was a draft.
We go to different Cotes and we have never been disappointed yet. We will return.
Very helpful waiter and delicious tasting food - thank you!
Was a bit upset as IwNted to be in the window. Was nudged in between two other very noisy pairs. However, the food was good and service fine.
