Tasty dinner and the service was super friendly :) it was Saturday pre-theatre time so it was busy but the food came quickly. Cannot beat the price either for the location - £56 for two people, two courses, bottle of wine and a tip.
Very squashed in at a table very squeezed into the corner. Waited quite a while to be served but once we ordered our food came very quickly. I like cote but at this branch the chicken breton was dry and they had run out of pork tenderloin so wasnt as good a visit as usually is at other branches of cote and instead of enjoying it after the theatre you dont relax as you are squashed in so not comfortable and so busy. I suppose being a pre or post theatre branch it is going to be busy so I would recommend other branches to this.
The only thing which was not good was that the fish was not properly cooked and we had to send it back. Everything else was perfect.
Tasty food and friendly service. Very busy and loud but overall good fun.
We thought the food and service was excellent the atmosphere was great
Staff were welcoming and efficient. Food was great, tables were a bit tight together
Lovely meal as always, good service too, and great value!
Brilliant service and a great lunch had by all. Thanks You
Sadly we had to wait for our main meal, which caused us anxiety as we needed to be at the ROH for a performance. ( No admission for the whole first act, if yo are late} The food was very good though.
Myself and 6 other family members came for breakfast last weekend and the food and service was brilliant. The breakfasts were hot and the waitress was so friendly. It is so nice to visit a restaurant and have a pleasant experience from start to finish. I will be recommending.
Food was delicious however at one point the waitress handed me a boiling hot place because she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing and only after I grabbed the plate did she tell me it was hot. it was a little late for that...
The main course took ages and when it arrived it looked like it had been standing waiting to be delivered
Always booked in advance and have never had a bad meal
Great welcome and super food presented by a fantastic team of staff . A five star experience !!
Had a lovely time, will definitely recommend it to anyone
Very pleasant evening and tasty food from Prestige set memu
As always great meal and great atmosphere highly recommend, shall be returning👍
Delicious whitebait and superb veggie main course. Excellent staff. Lovely wine.
cant fault it - great value for a pre theatre dinner and great service, prompt and friendly
Prompt service despite the large numbers of clientele, delicious and faultless cuisine, excellent value and assiduous and friendly staff as well as a constantly changing and inventive meal make this place No.1 for a most enjoyable dining experience.
Excellent overall experience. Great atmosphere. Fantastic value, and very pleasant staff.
Excellent value, food and service were outstanding. Would highly recommend to everyone.
Lovely meal, pleasant and efficient service and convenient location near the Royal Opera House where we were heading after dinner
Our lunch was great, service was good in general but had to flag someone to order and then again to pay. They were probably a bit short of Staff. Overall a very good experience
served very quickly and professionally, food delicious, price VERY reasonable for Covent Garden area
I’ve been to Côte many times at various establishments and at Covent Garden I had a woeful experience as my main dish Venison Pie had a little to no Venison in it, 95% mash. This will be complained about a lot ,just take it off the menu, I paid for my meal I don’t want any compensation, just letting you know ! Kind regards David Power
Excellent food as always, swiftly delivered and very attentive and friendly service.
Excellent as always. Good menu choices at fair prices especially on the set menu.
Really lovely service. Food great and very accommodating staff. Took two teenagers and they loved the steak frites.
Lovely food, great menu and delightful staff. Just what we wanted. Thank you.
As always Cote came through. Great service, great food & great atmosphere
Excellent and attentive waiter. Prompt and efficient service. Delicious food and outstanding value.
Nice after theatre experience and great food, recommend this restaurant for all the family!
Really feel our table was too big and in future would take 2x6 instead of one big one and also 7 or 8 people had steaks and they were problems with so many at once
We arrived early, were shown straight to a lovely table by the window. The service was efficient, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was convivial.
Staff very good and tried to help but food overcooked and not hot. Sent back for replacement and just as bad.
Food sent back as overcooked but not hot. A real shame.
It’s always a good meal at Cote. The service could have been slightly more attentive but only slightly
Excellent food and great service despite it being a busy night. Will definitely be back!
Good food, good service, good price. A little loud but great otherwise.
I am a regular customer, usually visiting your brassiere in Blackheath and London Bridge. I was disappointed last night when I saw such a big difference at how food is served in Covent Garden. I have to mention that it wasn’t busy the place. The steak came by itself on the plate, the dessert in a soup plate , no plating, so different that the other places. I thought that all Cote have high standards but it seems they don’t!
Great touch with the complementary glasses of champagne upon arrival and friendly staff. Shame about the portion of mushroom on starters as we ordered two but one had literally a couple of slices on it and had to ask the waiter for some more. Spoon was also not provided with the mussels for the sauce but ddnt wna ask again as ddnt wna seem demanding. My steak was more like medium well than medium but also ddnt wna send it back. Overall ok with the dining experience but dining tables were roo close to each other.
An ideal location, Good service, lovely food and great value.
Very good as always. Great food and very prompt service.
Good value, swift, efficient service and good pre theatre menu well cooked
The seating was very noisy Clearing of plates Very unwell after meal
Great value well prepared and presented food in pleasant surroundings and with excellent service
Always an excellent menu which changes but with food invariably well cooked and inventive. The Martini cocktail was fun!
Service was a bit slower than usual, but the atmosphere and food and staff were great - it’s a fantastic place to eat in the centre of London. Vibrant and good quality.
Food was good, service was good - but I was over-charged. We booked a special offer which gave us complimentary martinis if we ordered from the a la carte menu, which we did. This was confirmed by the maitre d' on arrival. I paid the bill and left, but only realised on the way home that the "complimentary" drinks had been charged for, costing me an extra £20.85. I will not be caught out at this restaurant again.
