Tasty food and good service busy time but good atmosphere
Great Meal, and as always excellent service would highly tecommend
Did not expect it to be so busy so rather noisy but food excellent and very good value. We choose wines which are lower priced and these are always really good and good value unlike in may other restaurants . We always recommend Cote to our friends good food and wine and excellent value for money
Great but it was very busy and so noisy. will be back in January
Crammed in...... constantly knocked by staff and customers.... noisy as hell!..... never again!
Ok ish. Restaurant couldn’t cope. May not return. Def no Wow factor. M
Not Côte's finest hour… I eat in their restaurants very often – I take clients there – and I get special offers, in this case a cocktail, but it didn't appear on the booking. They sorted that, but then the waiter didn't check our order so I was brought the wrong food. I had wine for meat, not fish, and not enough side orders because I shouldn't have needed them. The bill was adjusted – but brought without us even being asked whether we wanted dessert or coffee. The staff were apologetic and there are worse things in life, but Côte are usually very good so it was a shame.
As always Cote can be relied upon to provide quality food and service at affordable prices. We were not disappointed so Cote .. so please keep doing what you do best . and don’t change a winning formula! Thank you.
As always, excellent service and value for money, with great ambience. well done all at Cote
We have visited Cote at various venues and never disappointed. Only quibbles were that the coffee was tepid and the chicken over cooked and also tepid. Good value nonetheless
I'm always impressed when hosts bother to read the reservation notes. I had booked an early table for my mum and myself pre-opera at the ROH and asked that we have a quiet table as my mum is hard of hearing. The host commented on this as soon as we arrived and said he had a table he thought we'd love - he was right! It was tucked away in the corner and very quiet. My mum and I both eat at Cote all the time so we know the menu pretty well and have our favourites. This time I had steak frites and my mum had a lovely lamb special. Both arrived promptly and were delicious. Excellent value and service as usual and lovely atmosphere.
Delicious food, warm friendly atmosphere on a cold November afternoon! First time I've eaten here and I'll definitely be back.
Crowded restaurant but quickly and efficiently served.. throughout good attention from staff . Food served quickly and with very good presentation. Noise level high but to be expected given numbers of diners there. As usual with Cote excellent value for money , service also excellent. Menu choices good and varied.
Excellent food and very good value for money. Staff are very attentive and enthusiastic. Always a good experience dining here. Highly recommend.
Having been to a quite a few Cote restaurants from Edinburgh to Exeter, but this was our first visit to Tavistock Street. It didn't disappoint and the high standards were in evidence as we have come to expect from all the Cote establishments
Food as usual was excellent. Dreadful table given
We were a group of five and had a very enjoyable evening at Cote in Covent Garden.. Great atmosphere although a little too noisy. The meal was. of a high standard and the Creme caramel delicious! Recommend booking ahead to secure a table.
Always enjoy it but menu needs to change more frequently and some pastry on the sweet menu please
Absolutely loved our visit here before our visit to the theatre. Served quickly, all the food was excellent and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. Excellent value for money for central London. Would definately recommend.
Nothing to dislike, it was a perfect start to a great evening
Cramped & food cold , service ok ish but no card machine working so had to pay cash. 12.5% added & not deserved in my opinion. Won’t return
Good service and friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed our meal which we chose from the wide ranging, reasonably priced à la carte menu. Staff coped well in busy restaurant in a difficult layout ... steep, narrow stairs. Rather unimpressive ladies toilet ... very cramped (though good supply of soap, paper towels etc). Shall recommend.
Excellent food as usual. Just one criticism. Every time i go there I notice customers looking for the toilets. Why are they not signposted?
another enjoyable lunch at Cote Brasserie- second time this year in Covent Garden with friends from Cambridge.
Quality meal of onion soup, pork loin and creme caramel. The pork was beautifully tender. Cote invariably never lets you down.
We had a lovely meal in a buzzing central London restaurant
Food good great atmosphere only downside is the tables are so close together and therefore difficult to squeeze in.
great service and food , good pace no rush. enjoyable
We arrived a little early for our booking. This was not a problem and were immediately shown to a table. As always the food was excellent and the service very good. Noise is always a problem when the place was full and there is little space between tables.
Good menu and service was friendly and efficient. Convenient location.
Slow service and average food. Calamari wasn’t that tasty and was on the cold side.
Lovely food and a good service although they were very busy.
Prompt service. Attentive waiter. Lovely food overall. Can recommend as value for money too.
Very busy, but the staff were very good, professional, welcoming and attentive. Perhaps a little cramped, however, this did not spoil a lovely evening. Food was very, very good.
Had a very good lunch here today - well up to the usual standard. Good friendly service. My only criticism is that I always ask for a quiet table, but they always want to seat me in the busy, noisy area! One day I will get this right (we moved to a different table, and everything was fine).
service was good. Only one of our main course was poor quality regarding the quantity of meant inside the venison cottage pie, literally 2 very small pieces.
Staff pleasant and service quite efficient. On pre theatre/ early menu whitebait tasty/ also chocolate pot. However I was very disappointed with venison parmentier- only 2 bits of actual meat and bland tase . Cabbage was watery - not acceptable. After many meals at several Cote locations the first one not to come up to scratch.
Great food, great service; as always. Never disappoints us. Highly recommend.
The food and service were up to it's usual high standard and everyone enjoyed their evening.
Rapid and friendly service. Great food and an enjoyable experience, even while dining alone.
Perfect pre-theatre meal, food fantastic, staff are great. Thank you!
First time at this branch and could not fault it! Had the Pre-Theatre Menu. Excellent value and prompt service as with other branches. Recommend very highly but book ahead as you'll be turned away if "walk ins" etc.
Bad service. I finished my main course before my husband got his main courses.
We love Cote great atmosphere good service and good food at reasonable prices. Ideally located for the theatre. We also go to Cote in Gloucester and Haywards Heath and the service and food are exactly the same which is brilliant
A wonderful Set Menu. Soup was superb, and a Steak Frites as a main.
Thoroughly enjoyed our Pre-Theatre dinner. Great service, great food, great value, thank you. Would highly recommend Cote Brasserie to friends. Just one little niggle I don't like it when a service charge is automatically added to my bill, if I have received good service and am happy with my meal I will show my appreciation by leaving a gratuity but the amount should be my choice.....shouldn't it! This didn't spoil my experience however, just something that other diners might want to be aware of. Thank you.
very good service friendly staff good food good table soup not piping hot and wrong choc sauce served but otherwise enjoyable
Great food, excellent gluten free choice and really reasonable prices
A fine dinner prior to the show. Quick seating based on reservation although the restaurant was packed. Service very attentive and my wife greatly appreciated the extensive gluten-free menu. Something for everyone. Food true to the bistro tradition and served promptly so that we did not feel time pressured. Thanks.
Very good service and nice quality food and very convenient to the theatre's
