Did not expect it to be so busy so rather noisy but food excellent and very good value. We choose wines which are lower priced and these are always really good and good value unlike in may other restaurants . We always recommend Cote to our friends good food and wine and excellent value for money

Not Côte's finest hour… I eat in their restaurants very often – I take clients there – and I get special offers, in this case a cocktail, but it didn't appear on the booking. They sorted that, but then the waiter didn't check our order so I was brought the wrong food. I had wine for meat, not fish, and not enough side orders because I shouldn't have needed them. The bill was adjusted – but brought without us even being asked whether we wanted dessert or coffee. The staff were apologetic and there are worse things in life, but Côte are usually very good so it was a shame.

We have visited Cote at various venues and never disappointed. Only quibbles were that the coffee was tepid and the chicken over cooked and also tepid. Good value nonetheless

I'm always impressed when hosts bother to read the reservation notes. I had booked an early table for my mum and myself pre-opera at the ROH and asked that we have a quiet table as my mum is hard of hearing. The host commented on this as soon as we arrived and said he had a table he thought we'd love - he was right! It was tucked away in the corner and very quiet. My mum and I both eat at Cote all the time so we know the menu pretty well and have our favourites. This time I had steak frites and my mum had a lovely lamb special. Both arrived promptly and were delicious. Excellent value and service as usual and lovely atmosphere.

Crowded restaurant but quickly and efficiently served.. throughout good attention from staff . Food served quickly and with very good presentation. Noise level high but to be expected given numbers of diners there. As usual with Cote excellent value for money , service also excellent. Menu choices good and varied.

Having been to a quite a few Cote restaurants from Edinburgh to Exeter, but this was our first visit to Tavistock Street. It didn't disappoint and the high standards were in evidence as we have come to expect from all the Cote establishments

We were a group of five and had a very enjoyable evening at Cote in Covent Garden.. Great atmosphere although a little too noisy. The meal was. of a high standard and the Creme caramel delicious! Recommend booking ahead to secure a table.

Good service and friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed our meal which we chose from the wide ranging, reasonably priced à la carte menu. Staff coped well in busy restaurant in a difficult layout ... steep, narrow stairs. Rather unimpressive ladies toilet ... very cramped (though good supply of soap, paper towels etc). Shall recommend.

Excellent food as usual. Just one criticism. Every time i go there I notice customers looking for the toilets. Why are they not signposted?

We arrived a little early for our booking. This was not a problem and were immediately shown to a table. As always the food was excellent and the service very good. Noise is always a problem when the place was full and there is little space between tables.

Had a very good lunch here today - well up to the usual standard. Good friendly service. My only criticism is that I always ask for a quiet table, but they always want to seat me in the busy, noisy area! One day I will get this right (we moved to a different table, and everything was fine).

service was good. Only one of our main course was poor quality regarding the quantity of meant inside the venison cottage pie, literally 2 very small pieces.

Staff pleasant and service quite efficient. On pre theatre/ early menu whitebait tasty/ also chocolate pot. However I was very disappointed with venison parmentier- only 2 bits of actual meat and bland tase . Cabbage was watery - not acceptable. After many meals at several Cote locations the first one not to come up to scratch.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Pre-Theatre dinner. Great service, great food, great value, thank you. Would highly recommend Cote Brasserie to friends. Just one little niggle I don't like it when a service charge is automatically added to my bill, if I have received good service and am happy with my meal I will show my appreciation by leaving a gratuity but the amount should be my choice.....shouldn't it! This didn't spoil my experience however, just something that other diners might want to be aware of. Thank you.

A fine dinner prior to the show. Quick seating based on reservation although the restaurant was packed. Service very attentive and my wife greatly appreciated the extensive gluten-free menu. Something for everyone. Food true to the bistro tradition and served promptly so that we did not feel time pressured. Thanks.
