Good value Very drinkable white wine Attentive service that was relaxed OK but not exceptional food

Great time delicious food and excellent service. More expensive that some places but great quality and had a free cocktail deal. Only negative would be how many times we were asked how things were or how the food was. (must have been at least 8 😂)

A typically good experience... the atmosphere was great, the food was tasty, but I've definitely noticed the portions getting progressively smaller these days... and it was a rather loud experience too... not very conducive to decent conversation across the table.

We both had the minute steak and it was tough. We always choose this and have never experienced this before. terribly disappointing.New supplier? The chairs and tables are far to close together and people are cramped and the restaurant has an atmosphere of rushing rushing rushing. Not at all calm.

We were unluckily a large table of both men and women were very noisy making it impossible for my friend and I unable to talk to each other . The staff were helpful and eventually moved us to another table to finish our meal with our coffee.

Fantastic service from start to finish - true service excellence at play - and a delicious meal. All in a very short space of time and before heading to the musical.

Excellent food, great service, wine unfortunatly too warm, and waiter poured almost a whole bottle in 5 glasses... otherwise great. Noise level too loud for conversation unfortunately.

The restaurant lighting was warm, inviting and intimate. The food was very delicious, warms you from the inside and tasted like something you would eat at home with your family on a cold winter day. Moreover, the restaurant was not too loud and the server was very kind and accommodating.

Returning to this popular restaurant with friends for lunch and as usual the service and food was excellent. Thank you

We went for the pre theatre meal and were very well looked after and will certainly go again. It speaks for itself that the restaurant was full and it is necessary to book in advance.

We had a fantastic late lunch / early dinner. There were 10 of us & we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The food, staff & atmosphere were perfect - thank you!

Usual Cote visit - food, drink, service all excellent Just usual two minor issues: Very noise, especially from table of women nearby; toilets always cold (at every Cote)

Sadly we had a dreadful table and left . This is the first time it has happened. Staff were distracted..didn't seem to care.

Lovely staff, we had a gorgeous table and the Autumn Ravioli was AMAZING (as was the wine and bread) - my friends really rated the steak and the Chicken from the non-prestige set menu. Only debits were the camembert bread on the set menu is described a little ambiguously (it sounds like it will be dipping bread with cheese) and the apple & blackberry crumble was a bit heavy-handed with the cinnamon/autumnal spice. Overall, will definitely come again and will recommend to anyone who needs a restaurant in the area. Thank you for a lovely (and reasonable) pre-opera meal!

Minute steak unusually not up to your normally excellent standard. Restaurant was extremely busy ( pre theatre ) but staff very understanding and dealt with matter very professionally - gave an allowance without being asked and no fuss.

I love Cote restaurants but this visit wasn’t a good experience. The chicken chasseur that I and my four friends had was COLD. We were going to the theatre so didn’t have time to send it back. The restaurant was very busy so it would have taken too long.

We really enjoyed the delicious dinner and the service was excellent!

Very busy with matinee theatre-goers, but we were welcomed by friendly and attentive staff, who showed us to our table immediately, although we were early. I thoroughly enjoyed my whitebait, followed by venison ‘cottage pie’, along with a glass of red wine. There were no complaints from other members of our group. As we had split menus, some had to wait a while for food, but generally we were very pleased with our experience. Delighted to be able to pay separately, rather than negotiating splitting the bill. Thank you.

Excellent meal - as ever! Really delicious ribeye steak and frites.
