Had a lovely meal, everything was delicious! Plus, best Kier Royale I’ve ever had. Fantastic meal.
Food was very tasty, good portion sizes. Great location. Restaurant itself could do with a deep clean in places as it is surprisingly very dusty in places.
I like Cote but the last 2 times I have visited, in Leeds and in London, the food has been tepid. The plates are hot but the food isn’t, and although it’s delicious, I prefer my food freshly cooked and hot. How long has it been sitting in the kitchen before being served? It’s disappointing and it’s putting me off visiting Cote again.
I booked a relatively large table (8) and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was ready for us be seated immediately at the booked time. Service was terrific: friendly and attentive despite a very busy and full restaurant. We all selected items from the set menu. Excellent quality and value for money. The house wine that we were fairly generous with ourselves with was very good. Will return!
They misplaced my reservation, the glasses were dirty, and they seated us in a dark room underground by the toilets. We had to ask to order and for drinks as they forgot about us, then they forgot to bring both the starter and the main for one of our party. They were incompetent and added a tip to the bill which we obviously did not pay.
Excellent food and service and it was a really good evening. Cote is once again the best place for wonderful value for money and extraodrinarily tasty food. We'll be back!
Great food & drink, reasonably priced, unobtrusive but efficient service, lively atmosphere. Maitre d' was quite brusque but he didn't detract from a very enjoyable evening.
Really nice food and a leisurely lunch. Restaurant is right in the heart of town and represents very good value on the set menu options. Slightly spoilt by a noisy group seated near us.
Fab food and service enjoyable surroundings and attentive waiters . First time in core will definitely be returning . Had the chicken Sauce was divine .
I eat regularly at Cote as it’s always good tasty food at reasonable prices.
Very busy and hectic, we were late due to our great railway network, but we rang the restaurant and despite being very busy kept our table. Our waitress was amazing and made sure we got away in time for the show.
Lovely evening with friends. Our dishes were beautifully cooked and served including tuna salad, fish parmienter and duck breast. Followed by deserts. The price including a bottle of wine and coffee £120 for 4 people. Cote in Tavistock street is one of my favourite restaurants. Highly recommended.
We were sat near a busy service area, which was a little noisy. A couple of the staff were a little surly, which gave a sense of being unwelcome. Overall though, considering it was a family of 9, our food was pretty much served at the same time, efficiently and everyone enjoyed their dishes.
As always we had excellent service and delicious food. It is a reliable venue to eat and drink at any time of day. My favourite restaurant in the area.
Lovely restaurant. Perfect location for pre-theatre dining at the Duchess Theatre in London- just steps away. Extensive menu and delicious, authentic French dishes. Best creme brulee I've ever had. ☆☆☆☆☆
Came here for a birthday treat with friends and cannot rate our experience highly enough! Staff did everything to make the meal special. We ate off of the prestige set menu and the food was perfect with plenty of choice.
Fabulous staff who make the difference and consistently high quality of food
Everything order was nicely plated and really tasty😍 I loved the quantity too. It's definitely worth the price😁
Excelllent food and service as usual. The only thing that could have improved the experience would have been the reduction in noise as it was difficult to hear my companion without shouting. Background music is not needed when the restaurant is full!
Excellent service, the staff went above and beyond to make my mum's birthday lunch special, thank you so much!! Complimentary drinks on arrival and then a lovely cake and candle singing happy birthday, she was chuffed!! Will be back for sure
Great pre theatre menu - well looked after! Food was delicious and very well priced -attentive service and also brilliant situation. Welcomed with a glass of fizz perfect evening! Recommend.
Lovely meal and service was great Nice pre theatre meal Food was great Will return All the brassieres are excellent Atmosphere and noise level good Thank you
The service was excellent. We were five and all enjoyed the event very much and would be happy to recommend it to others friends and relatives
Absolutely love Cote - always great quality and it is just like being in Paris!
Arrived for a pre-theatre meal. Very busy but thankfully we had booked. Service excellent. Our order was taken promptly and although we decided on the two course menu there would have been time for a third. Charlotte, our waitress, gave friendly and efficient service. I felt Cote was especially suited for those looking to eat before the theatre. Food interesting but unfussy. Happy to recommend.
Fabulous food fabulous service beat we have had anywhere for a long time x probably best food in the west end
Really nice touch brining out welcome drinks for my boyfriends birthday. Our waitress, think it was Charlotte, was great - very good customer service and very attentive! Thank you very much!
Had the 3 course Pre theatre set menu. The food was all very tasty and very good value. The service was excellent.
We had a lovely meal after the London Marathon on Sunday - food, service and staff were fantastic. They were very accommodating as I had to change tie time of my booking and added to the numbers even though they were very busy - thank you
Excellent dinner and great service for our big family, we will come back next time we are in London!
My dinner was ‘okay’. Food was good however I thought the experience could have been better with improved service (I constantly had to ask for things twice) and tables being less cramped (I felt like we were sitting on top of people on next table also with no room to actually get out to go to the toilet)
Most enjoyable meal, good service and pleasant environment. We especially like the fact that there are a few tables in a quieter location, one behind the other, which makes it easier to converse and is less crowded. Côte is remarkable value and the food is reliably good, arrives hot and is well presented.
One of my favorite places for dinner when I am in London whether for pre-theatre dining or eating later in the evening. The service is always professional, courteous and friendly. The menu has a lot of variety and the prices a very good value. The preparation is always excellent and consistent. I am willing to travel across town to come to this lovely restaurant.
I came here for a birthday meal and it was a fantastic experience. The food came quickly after ordering and was delicious. The service provided by the staff was excellent. They were incredibly attentive and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back soon.
Beautiful food, served promptly by a gracious, well informed server in a lovely atmosphere
Great food, atmosphere and staff - thank you for looking after us so well! We will be back!
Excellent food and service. A good selection of wines and a final bill that didn’t break the bank. Real value for money.
Very happy with food & service. Pre theatre menu was good
Lovely lunch and such helpful staff. Shame about the lack of customers caused by the coronavirus fears!
Always good at this restaurant from staff to the food itself
Polite staff and prompt service. Clean loo and warm restaurant
I would prefer a slightly bigger portion, but still the pre-theatre menu was a good deal. The staff were very friendly.
We had an enjoyable dinner before going to a show. The prestige set menu had many delicious options. The staff was very attentive and everything was delightful.
The food and service were very good. The decor needs attention.
Overall an average meal. But the side orders were massively over priced and portion size a joke. And consequently I will not be returning to a Côte restaurant. It made me feel as though I was being completely taken advantage of. I live close to Leeds and the quality of food I normally experience from independent restaurants is far superior to that I experienced from Côte.
Fantastic experience - great food and service! Highly recommend to everyone.
Fantastic meal, everything was perfect. What more can one add.
Was great, however felt a bit rushed. Especially when clearing the plates when one of the party hadn't finished their meal yet. Our waitress was engaging and attentive. The food was nice and the bill arrived promptly. Had two members of staff chatting at the bar, near the exit and when we said goodbye I was not sure we got the response back. Overall good experience. Would be great is we didn't feel the pressure of staff turning our table so quickly.
THE LADIES TOILETS WERE DOWN STAIRS SO WAS KITCHEN WAITERS CAME UP STAIRS WITHOUT FOOD EVEN COVERED,2 CUBICLES FOR LADIES WHICH FOR A BIG COMPANY IN CENTRAL LONDON NOT GOOD
We arrived at 8pm. Service was slow, we didn't end up being served starters until 9.10 and two of them were wrong, so came out at 9.25. a waiter smashed a glass on our table, then later dropped a menu on the floor, stood on it, then placed it on the table in front of me. I had to ask him to replace it and clean the table. The food was nice but that was the only positive aspect of the experience. Another table in the restaurant were allowed to chant like football hooligans throughout their meal, with no thought to other diners.
