The food was excellent as always and the service professional and delightful, but it was really, really noisy. I've eaten there many times, same general time of day, but this was almost unpleasantly loud. Doesn't mean I won't be back.
Excellent pre theatre dinner, busy but good atmosphere and service. Food reliable as always. Seating slightly cramped but understandable I suppose for such a popular restaurant.
Once again a good value meal from the Cote set menu. The mackerel and beetroot salad starter was inspired. The fish main course was very tasty and everything was great. Surprised that the restaurant was not as busy as usual, but that made our experience even better.
Amazing pre theatre meal. Food is exceptional especially given the price. £13.95 for 3 courses if you order before 7pm. Very good service and really lovely atmosphere. We will be back.
Superb value for money when taking advantage of the set meal. Yes it's a chain but it does have character and atmosphere and is not boring or bland as so many chains are. Tasty food and true to it's French brasserie theme.
The food was delicious and overall the service was good. We were sat in the rear section of the restaurant where the other tables were empty which resulted in there being little atmosphere which the only negative point.
Great location for breakfast before hitting the shops in Covent Garden. Food was out standing as was the standard of food. Thank you for looking after us this morning
V busy restaurant, so glad we booked ahead. The food was of a good standard, although my guests main course came from the kitchen quite tepid and had to be sent back for heating up!
Cote Brasserie is a wonderful restaurant. The restaurant is located in Covent Garden with very good location. You can find it easily. This restaurant provides good quality of food and good service.
Had pre theatre menu was very good value & lovely food. The service from the waiters and Waitress was very attentive as well. Would thoroughly recommend.
Service was a bit slow considering the restaurant was less than 25%full. My mackerel was full of bones I sent it back and had melon, very flavoursome. Then the cous cous also LOVELY. The best service was from one of the commis chefs.
Food was excellent as usual. Service was good to start with but then became a bit lax at the end of the meal. Drinks were great
We had the three course set menu which was delicious.... there was a great choice and the service was efficient and timely. Will definately be back....
The service was excellent. We chose the set menu and thoroughly enjoyed all three courses. The restaurant was buzzing and as it was a nice evening we had a table for two by the window.
Always excellent with exceptionally nice staff. Good pre-theatre venue for food and location. Recommend the Vichysoise soup and spinach crepes. Chocolate pot for dessert and Kir Royale for treats
Good food, excellent value and very friendly service. Cote is the most consistently reliable restaurant in that price range that we know and we have tried four.
Excellent as always. They also know how to cater quickly for pre-theatre without compromising quality.
Very good value pre theatre set menu Good selections for each course Friendly service Wines could be described a little fuller (dry/sweet etc) Service between main course and dessert a little slow and very slow collecting payment Fortunately we had been to a matinee so was not in a great hurry! Would return
We had a very enjoyable meal. The Food was of high quality and service excellent. We appreciated the free tap water offered without asking and we were given ample time to place our order. We also enjoyed relaxing after our meal, spending altogether 3:30hrs enjoying our night out.
Service was excellent, warmly greeted and served promptly. Had two course pretheatre dinner. Main course of grilled chicken was ok in flavour but not hot and plate was cold. Peach crumble very dissapointing as did not taste of peach and hardly any crumble. My third time at Cote. Previously very impressed with quality of food for fantastic price and have recommended to others. I brought my husband for first time and was a bit embarrassed as the food could only be described as fine. Probably will not return.
Excellent meal before concert at St Martin in the Fields. Cote consistently provides a high standard of cuisine and service. The atmosphere is relaxing and sophisticated without being unaffordable up-market.
Bill was incorrect, otherwise everything was fine. Bill was sorted out and was quite happy with everything else. Food good, service good, so it would have been a six if you got the bill correct first time.
Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Loved the fantastic Cremant with my friend. We had a Fantastic time! Thank you so much to all the staff. We`ll be back soon.
Excellent menu selections, very good quality preparation and attentive service. Nice modern decor. It was a warm evening and sidewalk tables were available. Fabulous! We will be back.
The hostess was very accommodating when seating us, and all the staff were attentive. The food was good. We noticed how the air con was blowing directly down on the bread which can't be good.
The service and ambience were excellent - the food not so good as usual but perhaps I chose the wrong dish ! Will definitely be going again.
A very good pre-theatre experience. Consistently Cote. Very busy but still achieved the standard we have come to expect. These are extra words to fill the required 25!
Excellent value pre theatre dinner. Tasty food, reasonably priced wine and friendly service. Tables rather close together, but that's London for you. Will be back.
Cote Brasserie in St Martin's Lane is always good, especially the set menu which offers unusual dishes at a very competitive price. The staff are always helpful and friendly and willing to make sure customers are satisfied with their food and willing to change a dish if it is not up to the mark. The only complaint might be that with it low ceiling it can get very noisy - but then that just proves how popular it is.
Excellent service, delightful staff, lovely atmosphere and delicious food and wine, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Will be visiting again and would highly recommend Côte Brassiere at St. Martins Lane.
Arrived early and table available, staff suggested we move to one in the window as there was a family with a high chair near our original table. Had the pre theatre menu. Chose the mackerel and beetroot salad- delicious! This was followed by the grilled chicken, also tasty. Recent dieting meant that the portions were just right for us-not too overfacing. Ended with ice cream. Impressed by the complimentary offer of a kir royale on producing our theatre tickets! All in all a very pleasant experience. Would definitely eat here again.
Food was good which ultimately is the main concern but the restaurant was so busy it felt more like a cattle market. It was not a relaxing atmosphere at all which is a shame because I have eaten at another Cote in London and it was the complete opposite of this visit.
We had the pre-theatre meal, Which was very taste and very reasonable price. Services was good the staff where very professional but very busy . Would definitely go there again. I had pre-booked and our table which was ready when we arrived .
we had a lovely meal & the gluten free options were really good. the service was very good & the atmosphere was just right. fab
