Great steak frites, just to my liking. Good value 2 course menu for £12.50. Very busy when we went (Saturday lunchtime), so worth booking ahead. Setvice excellent despite the number of people

The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly but efficient. Excellent, attentive service: courteous and helpful. One particular detail that was appreciated (and is all too rare in restaurants) the staff pointed out any dishes that were not available in giving us the menus. The range of the meals on offer (set menu and specials) is first rate as is the preparation and presentation of the food. The perfect post-theatre experience, our meal was a great end to a great evening.

Perfect small bistro with authentic French cuisine at a convenient site for theatre and opera etc. We have eaten here many times before the opera and it has been efficient and well priced. Staff are very friendly. The downstairs setting area can be a little claustrophobic. We had fortunately never been placed there before, but on this occasion were put next to the serving door. This meant a constant stream of staff crashing past your table that was enough to cause indigestion. I was hit in the back over 50 times during our meal.

Cote is always good value. Staff very friendly. Four of us ate here and all our meals were of good quality. I joined their reward scheme on line and got a free bottle of wine.

Excellent as always in Cote Brasserie, Great food, great value great service. I always use Cote for pre theatre supper and they never disappoint. The lunch/early evening menu is superb value, and the house wines very drinkable.

Tables too close for a two table. About 20cms apart. Sword fish cooked to within 'an inch of its life'. Excellent location though for theatres.

The set menu is always good value. The special offers are usually with the a la carte so it is still better value to have the set menu plus a glass of wine. Can be noisy as ceilings are low.

Close to a number of theatres and a good, well priced pre theatre meal menu offered. Generally quick and cheerful service. Busy so pre book.

Excellent lunch - good service, great food, Cote continues to be consistent. The rib eye steak is really good - best value of all the high-street chains.

Hi , we all had the fixed price menu - 2 items for 12.99 or 3 for £14 ,. They were fine in and of themselves but not particularly filling .you need to order extra sides really to leave the table full

The pre 7pm fixed price menu is great value and the restaurant was packed with pre-theatre diners. Unfortunately we were seated in the basement and whilst service started off well, once the area vacated with the theatre goers leaving we became forgotten by the staff? Our waiter had signed off his shift as our deserts were brought and we saw no one for over half an hour. A disappointing end to what could have been a great experience. Good choices are available on the fixed price menu.

The restaurant was busy but the team produced our table for six quite quickly, keeping us refreshed with a complimentary drink to see us through a very short wait. We all enjoyed our various choices and the wine was good. Top marks to a friendly and efficient team for coping well.

Good food but service not so good as at Sloane Square on Saturday. Not enough staff and perhaps not trained too well because they all seemed to be running around chasing their tails and bumping into each other and the customers.

Great food as always, freshly cooked and delicious. We went pre-theatre so it was very busy and quite noisy. Had to wait longer than usual for food but service is good. Tables in this restaurant are very close together.

Great food and first-class service. The early evening set menu is particularly good value and the wine list is varied and reasonably priced - but it would be nice if they offered carafes.

Everything up to the usual high standard. Extremely good value for money (set, pre-theatre meal). Only problem: the pea soup could have been hotter (we should have sent it back).

Food, as normal in Cote, was good quality and good value on a pre-theatre menu. Long wait for starter plates to be cleared after finishing them. Table was downstairs and I would not want to sit there again as it is too cramped and somewhat noisy. Ask for a table upstairs.
