we arrived at 5.30 and ordered at 5.40. The main course was not served till 6.40. We had to eat it hurriedly to get to theatre for 7.00. No apology. It's a restaurant in the heart of theatrerland and we were entertaining clients. Go figure out our frustration and dissapointmemt. lots of other options, never with you again.
Very good service & tasty food. Happy to return again & recommend to others for quality & price. Great location for theatre visits & Covent Garden.
A lovely welcome at the door, lively and efficient service, excellent food, and a super atmosphere. A great end to a wonderful day out at the theatre.
Excellent service and good food. The only bad experience was the salad looked a little wilted, but it was hot! I have eaten here before and would do so again.
As outstanding quality and value as ever. We come here every time we go to the theatre in London and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended!
Very pleasant waitress and a quiet table by the window. Not feeling cramped as you can on other tables. Food very good and well presented. Perhaps one fillet of sea bass made the portion a little small.
The service was great, staff were friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and served in good time. The pre theatre menu was very reasonably priced and excellent value
Excellent service by friendly staff and good food at a reasonable Cost. for central London . We were going to the theatre and so the restaurant were very efficient
Excellent, as usual. Great pre and post theatre dining but you do have to book because it is so popular. Charming and efficient staff and wonderful food and drink. Thank you
Good food, good service (they very kindly replaced a starter after I had nocked a full wine glass onto it) and good value all round.
Well placed for walking to theatre afterwards. Lovely cheerful restaurant with pleasant staff. As it was a birtday meal pre theatre we were presented with two glasses of wine. Good atmosphere in this french restaurant food great so would thoroughly recommend it.
Enjoyed a lovely pre theatre dinner with my mum. We ordered a la care and the food was delicious. Free wine as a loyalty reward was great value and service was attentive.
We had the pre theatre set menu excellent fast service and really good food for the money. Good restaurant if you need to be reasonably quick
The food was great and good value for money - we had the set menu. Good choice of wine at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend. But book if going at the weekend as it gets busy.
Lovely food and great speedy service so we could get to the theatre on time. The staff were very friendly and flexible with the children's options
Good and efficient staff. Only downside was the table position, next to the stairway to the basement and toilets. Otherwise, nice menu and efficient service. Good vale pre-theatre menu
Staff were efficient and welcoming. Service was quick but I didn't feel rushed in any way. Food was delicious, well priced and I will return!
Great service, good variety and the food was excellent. Even though busy, they did not rush us. Cote is always a favourite and the friend I was with today hadn't' been before but loved it
Staff were pleasant and service swift. Food was of a high standard and very enjoyable Both of us thought the wine was excellent Good value
We were served fairly quickly for lunch as we needed to get to a theatre for a Saturday matinee. The restaurant was very busy and quite noisy, but that couldn't be helped. Food was very good, as always at Cote.
Busy, a bit touristy...good service, buzzy... I've been in a few Cotes, this one was fine but I've eaten better food. Would I go here again? Probably...but I wouldn't rush back. It was all okay with service good
First Class Service and Food. I have been a regular customer for several years and find it the best value in town. The staff are well trained and always so polite and helpful.
Food was good value but service was disappointing. It took a long time to order and despite asking for the newly advertised vegetarian menu 3 times, we were ever offered it. So there was only 1 hot vegetarian option- risotto which has been the only vegetarian option (apart from salads) for ever. If Cote is going to advertise a new vegetarian menu, then they should offer it.
Good and timely service and good pre theatre menu. Very popular so book in advance for pre theatre dinner and ideal location for most theatres.
As outstanding quality and value as ever. We come here every time we go to the theatre in London and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended!
Good food, very good service from our waitress, good prices. Very noisy, too many hard surfaces reflecting it back and forth. Back ground "musack" should be banded
Excellent restaurant - great food and good service. Will return. We opted for the set menu which had quite a few choices and was very reasonable.
As usual an excellent meal and atmosphere even though it was a busy lunchtime. I would recommend Cote Brasserie to anyone. Good value for money.
Once again we visited Cotes we usually visit the Soho branch but as the theatre was nearer we decided to dine here. As usual great value and delicious food.
For the first time ever in a Côte we had an English waitress, and it happened to be her first day. But she was magnifique! Thanks, Melody, for a gracious and attentive evening of service. I bet you are exhausted. You worked hard but made it look easy. It's really marvellous at Côte how everyone helps each other out. The food is absolutely delicious, always, but tonight Melody gave us tips on the wine, and she was spot-on in her advice. I will certainly return to this restaurant and will hope to congratulate them again on the superb dining experience.
Good service Really enjoyed the meal Had the pre theatre as we were on a tight time schedule and is was very good without being rushed
Great food with plenty of choice. Great waiting staff, always with a smile and despite it being full, we didn't have to wait long for the food.
Very good food. Prompt service. Didn't realise how close our table was to the next table; this meant that the waiter had to pass me my dishes and wait for me to take them - hardly ideal.
Not a gourmet experience but reasonable food at a reasonable price with a good variety of choice on set menu. Very pleasant efficient service, good choice for pre theatre dining.
We had so much fun and the food was great - really good service pre-theatre - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend going here... staff are fantastic xx
Nice staff but extremely noisy. Good value. Starter disappointing but risotto lovely. Possibly hit the busiest time of day around 5.30pm foe pre theatre dining.
Ate here on a very busy Saturday after seeing a matinee. Despite being full to bursting the staff were great - friendly, professional and attentive. The food was as we are used to from cote, having eaten at other branches before - tasty and bivelt presented. We will definitely eat there again.
Very helpful staff and great quality, well priced food. It is hard to believe you are in London. I Would recommend and would go again
Ordered haddock and tuna nicoise - accompanied by frites and followed by chocolate mousse. Food was delicious and well priced - friendly service. would definitely return.
The pre-theatre menu was great value, offering two or three courses for a fixed price. The range of options was good and service was fast, efficient and friendly.
Good food - portion size reflected pricing but fine for lunch and food came quickly. Very busy - had to wait a while for table altho had reservation. Very pleasant waitress.
Found the venue very noisy. Search for the quietest part of the restaurant only to then suffer a screaming child. Food was good however, as was the service.
Good food, service excellent in the very busy couple of pre- theatre hours. Staff stayed smiling and pleasant even though very busy. Will return again.
Very good food and helpful staff though water for the table didn't arrive till after we had finished our starter. Excellent value and great location
Good location, good food and good attention. Restaurant very busy with pre-theatre diners, but managed to deliver meals to order. Would recommend to others if they are en route to a night out.
We ate the pre theatre menu. The food was delicious and great sized main meals for the price although my chocolate pot dessert could have been a little bigger! Lovely staff and lovely environment. Would eat here again.
Great location, pre theatre menu and food. Pre theatre we ended up rushing our final course due to delays in the kitchen, resulting in a frantic run for the theatre!
Always reliable chain, this branch is no exception. A good seasonal specials menu, a bargain pre-theatre set menu and a classic a la carte selection. Brisk, cheerful service.
Lovely atmosphere, we had the pre theatre set dinner which was lovely and really good value.the service was good. Our table looked out onto the street and the windows were open so it was nice and cool.
The usual excellent meal, with attentive staff. My wife is gluten free and a separate menu is always an advantage. The dessert special this month is superb.
