Good booking experience, great ambience, efficient, friendly service, good food (pre-theatre menu) - in all very enjoyable. Only reason for not giving 5* was the noise level. Always busy at this time, so lots of chattering, obviously. But a few soft furnishings placed around (curtains, cushions, material wall hangings etc) would help to absorb the very loud noise level and make for a more enjoyable, relaxed experience without having to shout at your fellow diners.
I like Cote very much. The food is always good, the service is excellent and it's very good value. But I am not impressed by the competition you just sent me to win a free meal. It won't let me complete the entry and submit it!
Food and servers were lovely but the restaurant downstairs area was crowded making it difficult for the servers to cope, hence why some mistakes were made that otherwise would not have
Always great food, friendly and efficient service and a fun night out at Cote Brasserie! Menus change seasonally. Take advantage of their many wine and drink promotions ewhich are excellent value.
As always with Cote which we have visited many times everything was ecellent , my one let down if that is the correct word is that despite mailing the previous week to enquire if anything special could be done for a birthday no reply has ever been received .
Have visited many Cote Brasseries and always found them excellent value for money. The high quality of the food and service has never let me down.
Delicious as always! Good service, restaurant a bit too busy today but still efficient. Only complaint/suggestion: French saucisson sec should be sliced more thinly for best enjoyment.
Excellent service - we had a superb waitress. Thank you.
The service was attentive and efficient. The restaurant was pleasantly buzzy without being too noisy - a great plus - and the food was good. This is a ver good pre theatre option in the heart of theatreland
We love coming to Cote. It never disappoints. The service is great, the food beautiful, waitressing staff lovely and always very welcoming. Great value for money too.
Excellent food great staff and good value for money good cocktails ......... staff could not have been more helpful - we will be back Never had a bad meal at Côte - you guys always deliver
Very busy at lunchtime. Noisy to the point we couldn’t converse without shouting. Tables too close together. The food is always good
We were a party of 4 and had the fixed price lunch menu and had booked previously. No wait and good value food in a nice atmosphere.
This restaurant is always reliably good - food service and ambience. One of my favourites.
Efficient service for pre theatre, essential to book. Lively spot with a good buzz and great feel about the place. Staff were on the ball & menu offers good choice for a quick bite.
Nice food but overall slow service. Had to ask for order to be taken. Had to ask twice for water and twice for our final bill.
very good value for money and excellent service during the evening. I would certainly recommend this to anybody and the fixed price menu is great value also.
As usual, excellent value for money. It would be nice if the staff served by your side instead of stretching over other people (as waiters used to be trained to do).
We eat here often as the whole experience is always perfect with attentive staff and the choices on all the menus makes it difficult to choose from
Super busy which meant service was erratic. Glass of white wine was warm and there was no Badoit. Food was pretty good overall but the chaotic atmosphere off putting.
Always good quality food and brilliant service. We had booked for 6p.m. but arrived quite early but still we were found a nice table in the window. We enjoyed it very much.
Overall very good, but the tables were very close together and it felt a little cramped. The noise level was high but this was probably because it was full. Service was excellent.
Staff excellent, food great only comment restaurant was rather hot should have had the air conditioning on.will definitely go back
Steaks are fantastic and the service is very very good
This restaurant is ideal position for theatre area Very crowded and noisy ,however good quick service by friendly staff Food came quickly and hot although portions small Tables are very close together Would I visit again most likely
Service was prompt and friendly. Efficient waitress The tables are a little cramped but I guess London is short on space
Six of us ( 3 adults & 3 children) had an early birthday celebration / pre-theatre dinner here on Saturday. The restaurant was very busy but service was excellent. Food was perfect as always. We were looked after so well by our lovely waiter , Daniele. We love this restaurant.
Good food, good atmosphere. Free Kir Royals with theatre voucher on the back of ticket envelope - do check as it works! Restaurant too hot and reluctant to open doors - they need to sort this out before summer. Menu very good, expecially the pre-theatre and lunch set menu - £12.95 for 2 courses, £14.95 for 3 courses. There is a slightly more expensive one too - all good. The French onion soup is particularly good as is the creamed spinach that goes really well with the steak and chips. A great place to go and a welcome change from Italian pasta places. Always best to book even just an hour before - by phone or online as we've been turned away a few times.
Good service, lovely food and great atmosphere. Worth booking a table as can get busy pre and post theatre!
Love Cote. Always great food and great value. Try the fish stew, you won’t regret it! Atmosphere is buzzy but not too noisy. Friendly and quick service which combined with a location in the heart of theatreland make it’s a perfect pre-show choice.
Service very good food mediocre. Fries cold the veggie option butternut and chic pea cake very small. By comparison the 2 sea bass filets was almost too much
Our party of four was given a very friendly welcome. We were given a choice of where to sit by a maitre-de whose obvious aim was to please the customer. Orders were taken promptly. The food was to a good standard which all in all made for a extremely enjoyable lunch time experience. Thank you.
What a delightful find right across from our theater engagement. Wonderful wait staff and superb cuisine. The pre-theater menu is thoughtfully conceived at two price point levels and the regular menu is enticing. The in-season asparagus dishes are a taste treat so enjoy while you can. Several dishes highlight this specialty - select them all! We will be returning for more of everything. Lively before the theater and quieter thereafter.
I booked a table while on the train to Charing Cross via the Côte website. All ready when I arrived. Ordered straight away and the delicious Beef Bourguinon was ready within a few minutes with a nice glass of House red. What more could I have asked for?!
Attentive service, food was as described and pre theatre menu worked well for us. Good location for galleries and theatres. We were pleasantly surprised and would recommend.
All the staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. There is a wide choice of food and drink to suit everyone and the food is tasty and served at the correct temperature. Excellent meal.
Consistent quality, excellent service and great value keep us returning to cote time after time. Dont change a winning formula! Always a good choice of seasonal dishes.
Very slow service, didn’t get offered a drink for 30minutes. We had to standup to get ourselves bread plates. Very rude waiter who wasn’t apologetic when the food for our table all arrived separately
as usual,an excellent experience, top rate food, superb service, and very good value.Amazing considering the place was full how they managed to serve everyone in time for theatre.A must for pretheatre dinner
Reliable tasty French classics served up efficiently in good time before the theatre.
Good Food and good service as always, a very enjoyable experience
Wide choice of food at affordable prices, especially the set menus. always a good place to eat in central London before the theatre. Am a regular customer here over several years, never disappointed.
The staff are efficient and friendly but your Kir royal and my salmon dish were mediocre. The veg were overcooked but otherwise it was quite tasty. The Kir Royale was very synthetic and when I mentioned this to the server he replaced it with a prosecco (without charge.)Overall quite satisfactory and thanks to the young man for his action. Tricia
Very friendly welcome at the door and lovely service. The Prestige A la Carte was excellent value
Amazing service, attentive and really made the meal special, it was very busy though so quite noisy but would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Good food as always and very pleasant and helpful staff. It was very busy but we were served and managed to get to our concert in time. Only problem is the noise which can prevent conversation
Seated as soon as we arrived. The service was excellent. the menu was very good but i chose a monthly special the monk fish; very very good! Not too noisy but a large room
Arrived at a very busy pre theatre time, shown to our table efficiently and promptly, service was excellent, food was hot and prepared as directed. All for a fantastic price. Would throughly recommend.
Friendly and efficient service. Table a bit near serving doorway. Good steak nice and hot. Creme brulee was perfect . Would come again when we are on London.
Fabulous breakfast as usual. Very attentive and polite staff in what ever Cote you go in. Would highly recommend this one.
