We had great service and food . It was perfect for a pre theatre dinner . Despite it being busy the food all arrived promptly
We went before going to the theatre. The service and the food were excellent and good value. Look forwards to going again in the future.
Too much noise. It was like a fabric. Was at the same rest. 3 yearrs ago at that time it was much better. Perhaps the has too much succes
The Hostess with braces was really nice. Our Waitress was not great. Food was ok, really good value, but atmosphere was ruined by cranky waitress!
Can't fault it. Good food. Nce abience. Good table away from the door and good service. Overall the price was reasonable too. Would highly recommend
Just lovely experience. Food perfectly cooked, extensive menu, lovely staff, and the value is amazing in a central London area. Will definitely use again and again.
Really lovely food & very good service. Would have been better if had more space between tables & in a quieter area. But overall, really enjoyed it and we weren't rushed.
We Came here last night, the staff were lovely, the food was great. The steak frites and apple crumble were delicious. Will definitely return here.
Lovely breakfast at cote, with good service. Didn’t have black pudding though!
Excellent service. The staff could not have been more helpful. Food very good. Would definitely recommend and book again. There was a nice ambience and the place was warm which was a bonus as it was so cold outside.
Very good food and service. We were meeting old friends and we were not hurried which was appreciated. I would recommend it and come again.
An enjoyable experience, with good food, pleasant surroundings and polite and helpful staff. I find Cote a good meeting place for lunch with friends as the meals are of decent quality and reasonably priced.
I use the group on a regular basis (Cirencester, Bath & Bristol) if I am up in London for a show this restaurant in St Martin`s Lane is a first point of choice. The staff here are excellent upon arrival and throughout the stay. (Rosie was so good on this occasion) The food attracts the same comment. A huge number of pre-threatre dinners and I have only heard similar comments from other dinners. I did say as much to the front of house staff as I left! Thank you David Bragg
Great place for a pre-theatre dinner. Very conveniently situated for several theatres. Cote is geared up to getting diners through their meal promptly. There is a good choice on the pre-theatre menu, which is reasonably priced. Recommended.
Food and service were excellent as always. Very busy - but it is the end of the year when everybody is out and about and meeting up.
Very helpful staff at a busy time ensured we got our table and made our theatre on time. Great value food offer from the set menu. Excellent!
The whole family enjoyed their meal. We all ordered different things from the menu, and my children are very fussy, but everyone said how delicious all the food was!
Good service, happy team, excellent food, great value!!! The portion of smoked salmon was very generous and also the half chicken and chips.... one of my favourites!!!
We were originally seated by thebdrafty window and then asked and were moved to a better table. The food was okay/good, our female server was exceptional. Perfectly personable, attentive and witty. She would be better utilized for bigger and better thkngs, but until then the restautant is luciy to have her.
Excellent food - the best creme caramel ever! The wine was delicious and served promptly The brasserie was very busy but the staff coped well.
A very friendly welcome and table ready. Charming and efficient staff. The pre -theatre menu was varied and appealing and the food we ordered was very nice.
A lovely evening with friends as a pre-Christmas get together. The restaurant was exceptionally busy but we had a great table positioned in the window and so had some degree of privacy. The early bird menu is always good value and staff were attentive despite being rushed of their feet. One suggestion is to change the desserts on the early bird menu as these have never changed for the past three or so years!
Very helpful service and excellent Christmas menu. We enjoyed the whole experience
Well situated next to the Coliseum for our pre theatre meal. Super friendly and efficient service - good value, tasty - would certainly return again !
We went for a pre-theatre lunch. As usual the food and service was excellent despite the restaurant being very busy. Great value for money too.
Staff helpful and friendly as always. There were 6 of us pre theatre. Most thought good value for money and enjoyed their meal. The pear and goats cheese starter was a disappointment they did not realise it was a salad and hoped for melted goats cheese. Restaurant very busy but once we had ordered the food came quickly.
Lively pre-theatre venue. Simple and tasty French menu. Only negatives - don't sit near the entrance - always very busy in / out and it is left open. Plus, served food without two sets of vegetables which came 5 minutes later - too busy and should not have served any meals until all ready. However, staff could not have been more helpful under severe stress with number of covers
Food was excellent (as always) service courteous and friendly. We dined at 10:30 and our only small complaint was that, having ordered, we had to wait for water, bread and drinks. These eventually arrived with the starter – when the bread had to be reordered. Our server apologised for the lateness which (appeared to us) to be possibly due to understaffing. Otherwise everything was – as it has been on our visits – without criticism. The rating on noise was due to one very noisy customer.
I go to Côte when I can. This time it was an early dinner with a friend followed by a Christmas walk. Côte St Martin’s Lane is in a great location, great atmosphere, super friendly staff and the food is tasty. I highly recommend Côte.
As ever delicious food & charming service 😀what more can you ask of a restaurant full of pre theatre goers when you are not off to the theatre
Very good food. Very good service. Thank you. A charming and efficient waitress who took our order immediately and brought the good food speedily. As a pre theatre dinner it was exemplary. We will come again. Richard
Excellent food and drink but so noisy could hardly hear ourselves speak Don't know what can be done about that at it's pre- theatre dining
Four of us had a pre- theatre meal. The food was very good and they were very busy but our waitress was excellent, very friendly and competent.
Always enjoy coming to your restaurant enjoyable food choices, very friendly and helpful staff and a great buzzy atmosphere, of course we will be back
As always the set lunch had an interesting list of options and those we chose were tasty and well presented and the service was efficient and friendly.
Ideal for a relaxed pre-theatre dinner. Simple menu, tasty food, quickly and efficiently served. Only minor comment was that bacon in chicken salad was overcooked but otherwise we were very happy.
We went for dinner after a theatre trip. We had booked a table. We were seated fairly promptly and the service was quick, friendly and efficient. The food was good and the chocolate mousse excellent. Our table was fairly near the door so it was a little bit cold at times, But overall an enjoyable experience.
Wide menu, well-cooked food, friendly efficient service and a buzzy atmosphere. And a great 3 course set menu with several choices for the price of a main course in some nearby restaurants. Excellent experience all round and great value.
Good overall experience good value and menu ok. A few more sides included in main meal cost would be an extra attraction as only get basic steak and fries and small leafs
The service was excellent. The waitress was very helpful and friendly. The food was good. The food was served quickly and in a timely manner.
For a restaurant which is always busy, their service is efficient, the staff polite and the food well presented and very good value for money. Well done Cote!
Good choice of food and wine. Excellent service. No rush to finish so a relaxed dining experience. Good to have a reliable central location to meet friends.
Lovely welcome, excellent service, delicious food at very competitive prices. Comfortable seating, tables not to close together so no feeling of being crushed in a corner.
Very friendly and efficient. Waitress was lovely. She spotted that it was my daughter’s birthday and arranged a little brownie and candle!! Very thoughtful of her
Wonderful atmosphere and good food. My favourite eaterie when in London. So close to many theatres and all the sights. Would recommend wholeheartedly. A great experience.
Beautiful food. Friendly staff. We sat neer the door so a bit chilly as people came and went (November). Would definitely recommend it and will go again
Nice food but slow service which was disorganised . Also freezing as they had people queueing with door open. Was for a meal with friend but nothing special.
This is our choice restaurant for a pre theatre meal. Tonight was very so-so. Service was slow, in fairness they were packed out. We had to bolt our maincourse in 5 minutes flat to make curtain up. What really rankled was the charge for a full pretheatre meal when I only had the soup from that menu (plus a steak from the a La carte). That just not right. We pointed that out on leaving but had to literally run out to catch our play, feeling rather cheated.
We arrived for our meal early but the staff were very obliging and sat us at our table where we were looked after by our waitress for the rest if the evening
Good food and great service. However, a great evening ruined by the very loud group at the table behind. We spoke to the manager & she said she would speak to them but never did.
