The food was way beneth our expectations, and tasteless. The restaurant was crowded so the waiters were too busy to come with small orders. We did not get our main courses at the same time, but both dishes came quick. They had a problem with providing a glutenfree and vegan dish eventhough they have both vegetarian and glutenfree menus. But, as we were not satisfied they took one course off the bill and a discount voucher. So they finished up with good service! But we dont think we will revisit.

Lovely food and efficient, friendly service. They tried to allocate us "the table nobody would want" (by the main door ..freezing cold) , but when we rejected it they immediately offered us the choice of 2 perfectly acceptable others .

A group of 8 visited Cote Brasserie, St. Martin's Lane on 19th December. The food was excellent as was the service. We were very well looked after and everyone said they would go back at a future date.

We had the set menu which combines good food with good value. The service was just right i.e. better than too relaxed without being claustrophobic: perfect for a Saturday lunch.

There was a good choice on the Christmas menu, unfortunately my meal was served with uncooked potatoes. However a replacement meal was provided after my companion had finished eating their meal. As a result the manager took the price of my meal of the bill, which was a very good gesture of goodwill.

The food was DELICIOUS, reasonably priced and served with a smile. Cote is a chain I am always happy with. They're particularly good for pre-theatre meals - fast and efficient.

Wonderful Christmas set menu, excellent service as always. Don't really feel I need to'say any more , therefore insisting on twent five words is ridiculous!

Although it was very busy we were served very good food quickly and courteously. We had calamari, fish soup, steak and halibut. The French Meteor beer is very good and the selection of wines by the glass is good.

Visit this restaurant occasionally . Very busy on this visit and it felt very crammed. Couple of tables removed would create better ambience. Food good and main course portion well/sized. Starter seemed over priced for its size, but very tasty nonetheless

Always good food and good service here. Great pre and post theatre deals if you are going to see a show - and the location is great for theatres or Leicester Square.

Good menu at reasonable price. Quick service and cheery staff. Pleasant atmosphere. We go often. Lots of different choices. Pre-theatre menu, a la crate and at this time of the year a Christmas menu. Wine also good at 16 quid a bottle.

Despite being extremely busy we had excellent service. The food was wonderful as always. Our only criticism is the tables are really crammed in but I would still visit again and again....

The table we sat at was near the door which was frequently open because of the queues to get in. It was freezing. Also we ordered 2 steaks which got mixed up. Otherwise it was good.

As always our visit was very good, just a small complaint that they’d run out of fougasse, pork belly and Côte du Rhône wine. However as it was the week before Christmas and very busy it was understandable!

We were disappointed in the balance of the ingredients where the emphasis seemed to be on keeping the cost low. The Roquefort Salad only had a few crumbs of cheese: Th Mushroom Brioche had a few very thin slices of mushroom in a tasty sauce: the fishcakes had too much potato as did the Lamb Parmentier which barely had 4-6mm of meat at the bottom of a thick layer of potato. We feel you would do better to improve the balance of ingredients and charge more for the meal.

The service by our Italian waitress, whom we had last Christmas, was excellent. The food was the same high standard. The seats are comfortable. Could the table corner have a curve instead of the hard square to make it easier to sit down?

I had booked which o was pleased about as it was busy . I had a starter and my friend didn’t . But even though o had finished we waited well over half an hour to be served with our main course . The waiter was apologetic and we followed with dessert and coffee . I asked for the bill and received it then waited for somebody to take our money . I had time to go to the toilet and still when I came back to the table nobody had come . We waited again and finally we went up and payed . Lovely food , poor service . I know it was Christmas but surely their should be some sort of a system in place .

Friendly, efficient staff who cope well in a very busy restaurant. Booking advisable for pre theatre meals which are good value for money. We ate from Christmas menu and enjoyed the food.
