Delicious menu for New year's Eve dinner. Well cooked. Lovely waitress. Service a little slow and chaotic but we were in no hurry and the ambience was great. Superb value for money both with or without the wine pairings.

Great atmosphere in the restaurant, food tastes good as well, prices are not very high, very nice and helpful personnel. Located near Covent Garden, 2-3 min walking.

We were impressed by our visit to Cote. The food was imaginative and tasty, served by attentive staff. For us it was an ideal pre theatre meal.

Excellent food and service - however when myself and family went it was a pretty nippy evening and we had the banquette next to the till - because it was very busy the door was open more than closed which made it very uncomfortable and cold for us dining! Would have given 6 stars but for this!

Booked a table for NYE 3 month in advance and was lokated in the basement! Service was a joke, Fawlty Towern had been prefered. Food was not even close to what should be expected.

When we stay in London, we always go to Cote. Food is delicious. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Hope Cote will put the egg florentine on the menu because it was very good when we had it on previous occasion.

As chains go, it wasn’t bad but the food was nothing special and gave the impression it had been cooked some time in advance. The waitress who served us was really nice and very helpful.

Barely average. Vinaigrette on starter too vinegary and main course chicken dry. Service indifferent. Shame, as other Cotes we have eaten in recently have been good.

A good value and varied set menu delivered well-cooked food. On the down side the tables are set close together so there's not much leg-room and today a queue grew out the door onto St Martin's Lane while we waited to be seated.

Great food but the customer service was below average from entering the brasserie. I have visited many of the Cote Brasseries in London but i am afraid this one has to be the worst.

Excellent steak and chips. Very friendly and helpful service. Restaurant very well placed for pre-theatre, or pre-opera, suppers. and service speedy enough to ensure you do not miss Act 1!

Very good value for a pre-theatre meal. The food was simple but well prepared and tasty. We have been several times before. On this occasion we were seated right next to the door resulting in a cold draft periodically..

The food was excellent and everything that came out of the kitchen was spot on. The front of house was a shambles. Slow service the waiter forgot to bring things we’d asked for like water. Two of the servers got into a big row standing just behind us. Take it outside but don’t stand there and argue in front of customers. We were trying to enjoy our delicious anniversary dinner. They did comp a dessert which was kind, but the lack of professionalism and service was disappointing.

We booked a table for 6 for lunch but when we hit there we have been told their gas is out of order so cannot serve us. We had to find another place to eat and queue up for another half hour before we sat down. Cote brasserie didn’t have courtesy at least to ring me And let me know

The service started well when we asked to be moved from the table we'd been given as it was right in the doorway and the door was continually being opened, letting the freezing cold air in. The starter both my mum and I chose wasn't available, despite it being 5.30 on a Saturday evening. That said, what we did have was good. I ordered the halibut from the specials menu. When it came, the top of the fish was rather hard and it had started to dry the fish out around the edges. Despite this, it tasted good. The dish came with new potatoes a few of which were quite hard and one completely raw. When I pointed this out to the waiter he told me that they were actually Jerusalem artichokes. When I told him that if they had been, I wouldn't have ordered the dish as I don't like Jerusalem artichokes and even if they had been, they were still raw, he got the menu to check - to discover it said new potatoes. He then left the table to speak to what I assume was the manager. We had planned on dessert, however, the service had slowed right down so we only had time for a coffee - which I had to chase. When the waiter brought the bill he told me they had taken off some money because of the potatoes, but at no point was there an apology. Cote is a chain I like, and while it won't put me off going again, I won't be visiting this branch again.

We love to go to this restaurant. The food is good. We always find the staff very helpful and friendly. We liked that despite being very rushed they still had time to smile. Makes such a difference. You definitely need to book if you are going in early evening before the shows start.

It was a nice meal, however i had mushroom risotto and the rice was not cooked so it was a bit chewy. I did tell the waitress but as we were going to see a show i didnt have time to wait for another meal so just ate it. We come to cotes a lot and this is the first time we've been a little dissapointed. The waitress did give us some discount for my meal though.

Friendly, efficient and punctilious service at peak time on the Friday before Christmas - hard to beat that! And really good food by any standards, let alone for what is essentially a chain restaurant. Sauce with the Halibut alone would have passed muster at many more prestigious places, but every item was good. And when I spilt my wine, a free replacement arrived, unasked, even though it was entirely my fault.

Fast efficient service given. Almost too efficient as the mains arrived before the entrees! Staff dealt with this with no fuss and the meal was delicious.

For me not quite as brilliant as normal. I may have chosen the wrong meal as you sometimes do. I had the mussels, and the flesh was very small, similar to clams. I am used to large mussels with what I call proper chips. It may seem strange, but the thing that upset me most was the dish for the shells which also had the spoon inside, seemed to be unwashed. This will not stop me going back as I think Cote is the best chain in Britain.

Four of us went to the branch in St Martin's Lane on 19th Dec. We went back there again with another couple two days later. We had the mussels, which were beautiful. And we had steak frites, which were delicious. Our friends loved salmon fish cakes and chicken breast. For the desserts, I had one of the best crème caramels. The crumble aux pommes and the dark chocolate pot with crème fraîche were also scrumptious. We were extremely happy with the food, the service and the ambiance. Furthermore, my request for the exact table was particularly fulfilled by the charming staff. Our friends said that they will spread the word to their friends about this branch. We can't wait to go back there in the new year. 👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
