Very noisy indeed. Will not return. Have enjoyed other Cote restaurants more. The salmon fish cakes were sadly lacking in salmon; should have been described as potato cakes. On the plus side the whitebait was excellent; good sized portion with pleasing tartar sauce accompaniment,
Excellent food and service . Thoroughly recommend 😆 and will use again both in London or Peterborough in the near future. Ideal for pre theatre meal.😆
We have tried other restaurant groups for pre theatre meals and although most are cheaper the quality is seldom that of Cōte which is why we return again and again.
good deal for central London, conveniently near theatres. The steak frites is still good value. The bream is OK, but consider the cod on the main menu as an alternative.
We had an excellent steak dinner in a very convenient location
My experience dining at a Cote Brasserie weather in Bristol (my home town) or as in this case London, has always been a very pleasant experience. Very good Brasserie food at reasonable prices.( Paris could learn a thing or to from Cote). If on the rare occasion that there is any problems,, they are quickly dealt with to the customers satisfaction. So full marks to Cote. James Dew.
Very efficient friendly service. Delicious food. Pre theatre menu. Please could you notify me of Cote offers particularly at Exeter. Kind regards Jenny and Matthew Chesshyre
As always, good value for money for the pre theatre menu. Attentive service and well.presented food. Plenty of dishes to choose from , though maybe time for a change of desserts?
Had the 2 course set menu pre theatre. Great location, plenty of choice on the menu, nice ambience and very good service. Good quality tasty food
good value meal in a convenient location for many theatres and efficient service for pre theatre dinner. Will book again when next needing something similar
Great food, great price and great location, but the service is ALWAYS slow. This for me ruins the overall experience a bit :( Please remember the fact you have to pre book or be turned away at the door ALWAYS.
The food on the reasonably priced set menu was tasty and well presented as usual, Despite Cote being crowded the service was very good indeed. An excellent place for lunch.
Excellent food, speedy service, attentive staff and all when it was a very busy period. Always thoroughly enjoy the Cote experience and have been to several now - never had cause to complain.
Excellent tasty food, buzzing atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Had to come back to pick up my receipt the next day and the staff couldn't do enough for me - they even remembered me and where I had been sitting. Excellent customer service! Definitely worth a return visit. Well done.
Very good food and great friendly staff. When they found out it was my friends birthday, they brought out a pud with a candle in it and sang happy birthday to her. Would definitely go back again.
Excellent food and service. Very speedy and efficient and at a reasonable price. Great loacation. The only downside is that it can get very noisy when the reastaurant is full.
We’d booked in advance, just as well as it was heaving and people were queuing. Had a table downstairs which I don’t really like. By the time we got to coffee we were the only ones downstairs and we were forgotten by the waiters. Had to go and find someone upstairs so that we got coffee. Food and drink were good and reasonably priced.
Always good food and excellent service with Very pleasant staff . Good to see menu fits season with a wide range of ingredients. Makes it hard to choose.
Food and service were, as usual, excellent hence the score of 5. However, on a table for two we felt very crammed-in and, because most of the tables were so close together, the restaurant was extremely noisy which spoilt the overall dining experience. This might well influence future decisions about using this restaurant . Had this not been the case we would have awarded a 6.
Good value. Slick service. Reliable good food. Always enjoy it. Lunch menu is just right although choice is a bit limited. Reasonable wine prices - house wine good value. Very convenient location.
The food was lovely, great astmosphere and an excellent customer service. They made us feel welcome through out the whole evening. Definitely go back there again.
We are returning customers and always enjoy the food here Service was good and we were well looked after even though they were busy with the pre theatre crowds Well done to all
My last visit to Cote was disappointing however, they were back to their usual high standards this time. Prompt service, good food and good atmosphere.
The food was excellent as usual but service was rather slow for a pre theatre meal. We just made it in time for the performance
The whole team are great customer service providers. I have been to various restaurants around the country and the brand is CONSISTENTLY good. Great value for money, good food, lively fun atmosphere, why not!
Food was good however service was very slow and a few times we had to get the attention of the waiters as they would just walk pas the table. The restaurant itself was nice and lively but was very warm like the turned up the heating system and we were sweating a lot. At one point the front door was open but was then quickly closed and was extremely warm again.
Very pleasant atmosphere. Attentive staff I enjoyed the sea bass very much. My dining companion had the duck and was unable to finish as the portion was so generous.
We booked the table for a pre-theatre show meal. The food was perfectly cooked and tasted great. The service was friendly, attentive and excellent overall. Well done.
Good food at a most reasonable price. Service brilliant and quick but unhurried. Considering the location in theatre land the experience was above expectations. Highly recommended.
Convenient for Noel coward theatre efficient service. Not rushed at all after finishing the meal we where left to enjoy our drinks and had to pin down the waiter for our bill.
Busybut served politely and accurately. When we asked for things we got them Food ok for a set menu - both in taste and on price
great place to eat, excellent value for money, staff were busy but attentive. Food was cooked well and arrived quickly but not rushed. Seemed to be very popular, would happily recommend to friends and eat there again.
Usual formula and as reliable and good as ever. Really nothing else to add as the experience was fine and all was good with no problems encountered.
Consistently good food and service at a reasonable price but so noisy! Also toilets could do with a bit of an upgrade: looking tired, messy and not up to scratch for a central London restaurant.
Great location for a pre-theatre meal. And a great three course set for less than £15 smack in the middle of London !!! Set menu changes monthly...
Lovely food and very good atmosphere. Staff always very helpful and pleasant. Great value for money. Would certainly be my first choice when visiting London.
Great food, good service and as usual has a lovely atmosphere. Perfect place to meet up with a group of friends and spend an afternoon.
Great service with friendly staff. Food was delicious with good selection. Pre theatre menu extremely good value. Would certainly visit again and recommend to my friends.
Very convenient place for a good lunch with a friend. Excellent food and good service, apart from the non-appearance of my friend's glass of wine. The waitress, when called, sorted that out.
Friendly staff and even though the restaurant was very busy they were very attentive. We chose from the Pre Theatre Menu there where several options and good value for money. We have dined at this Cote restaurant several times and would certainly book again. Thankyou.
Excellent, friendly and efficient service with good food and wine at a reasonable price. That sums up all I wish to say about my visit this evening !
Cote has a good choice of set menu at reasonable prices, which are changed every month. Quick service and friendly attentive staff. Ideal place to eat before going to theatre
Great value for money! They changed serviettes for paper napkins. 👎
Nice food, good atmosphere. We told them as we ordered dessert that we had a theatre visit and had to leave at a certain time, they said no problem - but we didn’t get it in time and had to rush out. Such a shame as otherwise a nice experience
We always book in to this Cote when in London as it is always dependable for good menu and reasonable food. And quick service too.
Good value food plus excellent service at a time of day (5.15 to 6.30pm) when the restaurant became progressively busier with pre-theatre diners. Nice to receive bottles of (free) tap water at the table without being pressurised into paying for bottles of the commercial stuff.
Quick service and excellent value A bit slow taking our order for teas and coffees which meant we were rushing in the end :-( but otherwise v good.
Good food at reasonable prices. Nice service- attentive enough, but not too pushy. Comfortable atmosphere, although it did get a little noisy when full. Other than that it was just right.
Great food, the fixed price menu is excellent value for either 2 or 3 courses, friendly staff, convenient for all the theatres. Mind the step at the door!
Kind service and quiet post theatre . The smoked salmon was very salty and the white wines not cold enough. Smiles around compensated for those minor defects . A pleasant supper with enough peace for a good chat with friends, perfect! .
