Waitress was very helpful, but overall service very slow and manageress kept forgetting to respond to our requests (for water et cetera). Food good, but seabass was supposed to come with a salad which consisted of a few peas and a few strands of rocket- garnish rather than salad. Otherwise all fine.

Service was awful throughout and they got our bill wrong 3 times - conviently always trying to charge us more and so took over 25 minutes for the bill to be correct. Maybe this trick works with people who don’t check the bill but very unprofessional

Extremely busy and noisy but credit where credit due accommodated my booking request . Staff rushing round trying to cope. Our waiter appeared to be new and there was no interaction with him. I left him a CASH tip but it was never pointed out there was a 12.5% automatically applied. His gain my learn!

There are several choices in each course on the Pre-Theatre menu and as usual the food was delicious. Unusually for this restaurant the service was slow towards the end of the meal as the restaurant was so busy.

There was a bustling atmosphere, which did mean a fair bit of noise (this was pre-theatre on a Friday), but the serving staff were very efficient. Value for money-wise I don't think this place could be beaten, particularly with the 2 set menu options. I'm a vegetarian (admittedly in a French restaurant!), and the only thing I felt might be possible to improve would be offering a vegetarian main like a tarte & frites - this would be a welcome touch for me personally and a change from usual goats' cheese salad! I did enjoy my salad starter and risotto, but risotto is not really very French...

The food was good, and the staff were especially helpful. They went out of their way to make my mother and myself comfortable. Many thanks!

Nice meal with a nice offer of a complimentary bottle of Cuvée Laborie Rosé when dining from Cote's à la carte menu. It was very busy and noisy but food was lovely

I frequent this restaurant because I appreciate the quality of the food, the excellent service, and the friendly professional manner of the staff. It is proper French cooking at its best.

The service was fantastic and the staff were friendly. The specialist gin was expensive but absolutely delicious. The food was excellent - we had ribeye steak and roast pork belly which was outstanding.

The place was jumping when we arrived. We had booked in advance and were shown immediately to our table. Olivia served us. She was faultless: cheerful, smiling, unflappable and slick. Everything turned up with amazing speed given how busy the restaurant was, and the food was entirely up to Côte’s standard. We also noticed that amongst the bedlam of the restaurant all the staff appeared to be in good humour with a little playful banter going on between them, even as they delivered there rapid service. This is a great place; a tribute to its manager for fostering his excellent staff’s obvious high morale.

We enjoyed a leisurely lunch yesterday at Cote St. Martin's Lane. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the food was tasty and although it was very busy, as usual, we were not rushed along. A very consistent spot in the West End for good pre/after show meals.

Meal was good, service fine, bit hectic as the heavy rain meant it was full. We had to wait a while though we'd booked but no big deal though I think if your table isn't ready, you should be offered a free drink

The food was excellent - even if there was no cod and it was replaced by sea bream! Service was also excellent and there was a good ambiance early evening.

The Food is great and the staff lovely. The only bad point is the low ceiling makes it very noisy amplifying people's conversations and loud laughter

We had a very good meal from start to finish. This is a very well-managed branch of the Cote chain. The food was good and our young waitress was both charming and efficient throughout.

Very very poor service. I ordered a salad which was on the starters and asked if I could have it as a main course. They brought it as a starter and at least 30 minutes later brought another one. Could they not have put them together on one plate. Is that so difficult?

Good service, lovely smiley staff, good pre-theatre menu with a varied choice. The food was beautifully cooked and there were lots of interesting and unusual flavour combination. My partner and I shared a starter, had a main each and shared a pudding from the two course menu. It was all a very pleasant experience, thank you.

Great food, great service, as usual. It was my birthday celebration and we were treated to complimentary Kir Royale coctails, which was a nice gesture, indeed. We did enjoy the August Set Menu very much - the Sea Bream dish was fantastic! We will come again in the very near future.

Nice reception and table as requested...........but at this time of year you need blinds not just the awning outside as the sun gets underneath and tables too hot. Also my complimentary drink offer for August came through after our meal............so we were not very happy about that as we would have enjoyed it. The the July one was not accepted!

The set menu remains extremely good value - it is impressive that such good food can be produced at the price. On this occasion I was down in the basement with only one person serving the entire area, so she was understandably a bit harassed - potentially a problem since we were going to the theatre, but all was well in the end: but extra help there at busy times should be considered.

What a pleasant surprise. We got the same excellent service, with a smile, that we get in my home town Côte restaurant. Food was very good and amazing value - especially since we were dining in central London. A very good experience.

The service was friendly and professional, and the food delicious. In spite of being in the heart of tourist London, it seemed an oasis: bustling enough to feel part of the London buzz, but also delightfully refreshing and relaxed.
