Restaurant was reasonably quiet as it was a Monday evening but still some atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service and enjoyable meal which was just what I wanted.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from the prestige menu coming in at 4pn for a very late lunch/early dinner. The place was packed and it was lucky that we had reserved. The food was top quality and delicious. The French onion soup and the creme caramel were divine. The service attentive despite the rush.

Very disappointed that my main course, which was described as a pork tenderloin on celeriac puree, turned out to be on potato mash. Love mash, but not when I am expecting celeriac!

Very busy today but we didn’t feel rushed at all. Super food as always. Service at little slow at first but overall an excellent experience.

Lovely food and very pleasant staff. Good value and we got an offer which gave us a complimentary gin and tonic! Côte Covent Garden - St Martin's Lane is consistently good.

Cote gets better all the time. Menu expands and there is a substantial printed gluten free menu available which saves me the agony of wanting something forbidden

The lunch plates are smaller than what I'm used to from other côte restaurants. I feel like also the quality has decreased compared to one year ago, especially when picking plates from the lunch menu. Overall, the experience was average.

As usual, set menu food good and service good too! Although poor people at table next to us didn't get their pudding before they had to leave for theatre as their order got lost.

The bottled beer was warm as they’d ran out of the cold ones. They couldn’t find enough side plates for our sharing starters! Waiter very frustrated

We thought the staff were brilliant- the restaurant was heaving, with people queuing but we never felt rushed or pushed to leave. The food, as ever, was tasty but my fish pie appeared to be smaller than previously. Always a good call to visit Cote.

Great atmosphere, food very good and excellent value. Service attentive for such a bustling restaurant but champagne cork nearly hit my guest! Will certainly book and visit again

Having been there many times for the rather ungenerous pre-theatre menu, for once we ate from the à la cart and it’s so much better.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. The ambience is animated, despite being a little noisy sometimes, and the staff are super friendly. You get delicious food, service with a smile, and the crème caramel is out of this world.

The food was good and very reasonably priced. Service by the friendly staff was quick and efficient. Handy for pre-theatre dining, although the armosphere was a little frantic as everyone was In a rush..

Nice meal at Cote St Martin's Lane but very disappointed that the Poulet Chasseur was not available although it was on the menu. According to one of the friends I was with it wasn't available a few days earlier either when he tried to order it. Why keep it listed on the menu then? I went for the hake dish instead and it was good. Our waitress was lovely and attentive

If as early as 12.30 a main course item is off the menu so early it should replaced. Not leave us with less choice. Poor.

Restaurant was easy to access, and booking was identified without problems. Menus available represented a good choice of food and at reasonable prices. Attentive service at lunchtime.

Very good meal but another time it would be good if we had been asked how we would like our Tuna to be cooked.. Rather noisy but the restaurant was very full and busy.

This was a repeat visit to St Martin's Lane after a great visit to ENO's Dress rehearsal of Porgy and Bess. The waiter asked how we liked it as a few days earlier the director and MD for the show had sat in our seats. A very good meal with wine and outstanding service completed a great day out.

Very tired looking salad arrived in glass bowl under a few pieces of fennel, onion and squash and minuscule piece of grilled goat cheese plus slice of French baguette with olive paste. Not at all attractive. Service friendly enough. Considered expensive.

Overall experience was very good-food very good as was service. The only issue was the noise levels were extremely high towards the end of our meal, but it was very crowded in the restaurant so in a way understandable. The other thing was that on arrival I was asked ‘How are you today?’ ( very politely) by five different members of staff within the first three or four minutes of arriving at the restaurant, which became slightly irritating. Just hello and welcome would have been preferable! It felt a bit like they had just had a training course where they had been told to do that.

Lovely food - service was ok as it was the busy pre theatre hour ! They looked slightly confused when I ordered & ask for the food to be delayed as my companion was running late . Could have been slightly more responsive to the needs of a disabled lady & not made her walk all the way to the back of the restaurant- but that was only my observation- New 2 level pre theatre menu - sorry cannot remember differncecin price but was good

Very pleasant restaurant welll located near the Coloseum theatre. It has a couple of different fixed price menus as well as the a la carte one and this provided flexibility to my dining group. As usual, the food was appetising but some of the portions were a little on the small size. Service, lunch time last Sunday, was a little slower than usual but overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant as I have found it to be consistently reliable.

I had the new October menu. Wonderful mushroom cassoulet which was delicious and the crumble with ice cream. The only disappointing thing was the next day I had an offer of a french martini with an October meal. One day too late.

Great food, fast service, friendly helpful staff always very busy so good vibe. It’s a great situation for all the theatres and they offer a great choice on their menus from theatre menu to a la carte. Good wines and the cost will not annoy your bank manager.

As always the choice of dishes and the quality of the food is exceptional for the price. Service is smooth and fast, without giving the impression one is being rushed through. The only niggle is the noise level.

Enjoyed the food, ordered a 250 Merlot, but 175 delivered, pointed this out to waiter, but accepted the 175. Was billed for 250, subsequently corrected. Hope this was a error rather than a policy. We like this chain and visit them about twice a month.
