Good place to meet friends - food was of a high standard espresso steaks

Booked for a pre theatre supper and glad that we did ! The restaurant was extremely busy but despite this, the overall experience was good with speedy ordering of food and drink, reasonably quick delivery and overall efficient service. Food was enjoyable with the only exception being the lukewarm Onion Soup. Special mention for the puddings which were delicious.

The food was delicious however my daughter is vegan and was upset that there was not a vegan option on the set menu, when she raised this with one of the waiters she felt he was rude and unsympathetic.

Really excellent venue. Great food, high quality fixtures, fittings and food. Not absurdly priced either.

Food and service very good but very noisy - sadly we were sat at a table next to a group (4) of young children, not well behaved, which made it worse.

Booked a meal for 4 following a rock choir concert in Trafalgar Square. We all had two course from the prestige set menu £16.95. Service was quick despite being very busy. Waitress was very personable and efficient and food was hot and very tasty. Good overall experience. Have been to various Cote restaurants and find them a consistently good standard.

The food was very good and the service efficient and friendly.

As usual the service was polite, efficient and attentive. Again, as usual, once its very busy noise levels are poor And although the cauliflower soup and creme brulee were excellent, the smoked haddock parmentier seemed to contain far more leek than haddock which was disappointing. But overall it was fair value.

This is my go to restaurant in London. I know it’s not Michelin star, but the food is excellently prepared and always tastes delicious. Great for families and friends meeting in London. Excellent value for money. The creme caramel is to die for. Your staff are very courteous and helpful. Thank you.

Dissapointing food. The starter was going to be warm, but was cold. The wine was warm.

I am a huge fan of the Cote chain and often go to St. Martin's Lane and SW13. I was glad to see the St. Martin's Lane restaurant full and buzzing. Service was good: friendly and efficient. The food was reasonably priced but not great, I'm afraid. I've often had the cauliflower soup before, tasty, piping hot with a splash of oil. Today the texture was thicker and not as tasty as usual. The steak frites was too chewy (the steak, I mean). God's way of saying avoid the cheaper set menu, I suppose. Still, my friend and I were allowed to catch up for hours without ever being rushed and we appreciated that enormously.

Nice enough food but the waitress was clearly more interested in upselling additional extras and then when we said no, more interested in getting rid of us quickly to release the table. Also it was very loud which made conversation difficult and generally the atmosphere was not conducive to a relaxing meal. For the price I dont think we will be returning.

The Food is always good in the restaurant but the service is so slow. More staff needed!

Noise is a little more than I would like to have when dining

The restaurant was extremely busy but the service was still first class. For a change I had the mushroom soup which was piping hot and delicious followed by steak frites, my favourite, which seemed to be a larger portion than usual, bonus. This restaurant is perfect for a diner on their own.

Very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. Brasserie classics were all well prepared. Everyone in our party of 5 thoroughly enjoyed their orders.

Service was good but it was too noisy we were sat in the middle of the restaurant and gave up talking in the end ! Also my steak frites was tough, 1st time ever I’ve not enjoyed my dining experience at a Cote restaurant!

Excellent as expected. Only issue was spinach not washed in crepes but matter dealt with to everyone’s satisfaction.

An excellent meal with a good variety of dishes to choose from. Very efficient and polite service.The only issue I had was some of the music was turned up too loud in particular the nagging saxophone. Well done and see you again soon

Excellent food and service, we were delighted with the presentation of the food and the courtesy of the staff. The only suggestion we have is that the table we were sitting at was very close to the one next to us and getting into and out of the seat was a little bit tricky.
