A lovely meal, tasted wonderful and reasonably priced. Portions were small but that's understandable when you order from the prestige set menu. Some tables were very loud which detracted from the experience
The staff, service & food were excellent. Will definitely pay a return visit!
Not as good a standard as usual and over-fussy service
Food delightful, atmosphere very chilled and relaxed, staff made you feel welcome and friendly/good service
What a great find in the heart of theatreland! Great service, fabulous food and all at very reasonable prices. We will be back-and soon!
Great service from all staff and the food was delicious!
The booking website was very easy to use, the service and meal were exceptional. Cant ask for more.
Prompt and friendly service, though I wish we could have come later.
The 2 vegan dishes did not exist only lentils... pork belly was not good either..duck was tough 🤔
Busy restaurant. Good service. Use Cote locally on regular basis. Love the food. Side dish here of minted peas was cold. Goats cheese and vegetable salad difficult to eat out a bowl due to size of vegetable chunks. Otherwise good.
Great tasting food, lovely staff and wonderful atmosphere! Will visit again.
Very disappointing experience at the Cote this afternoon, my mussels were dry and looked like they had been heated several times. Also, I asked for a coffee with non dairy milk and they didn’t have any option whatsoever and when I asked for tea instead they also didn’t have the type I asked for (although it was from the menu!) and the waitress didn’t seem to be all that bothered about it! I won’t be visiting this restaurant again, extremly poor service!
Very efficient service and friendly staff, food was amazing and great value for money after a trip to the theatre
Le repas était excellent et le service impeccable. Merci beaucoup.
Good choice of attractively prepared dishes. Service quick and pleasant. Congenial atmosphere. Food tasted great.
The restaurante was good and the service very well too.
Excellent dining experience from welcome through to paying the bill! Served by Joanna who was outstanding and so nice. Dishes were tasty served on hot plates and the vanilla ice cream dessert with hot chocolate was ridiculously good. Prices are fair and would dine here again for sure.
Good value early evening 2 course meal (could have had 3 courses but didn't want the pudding/sweet course). Quite busy but service was good. Food hot when served but due to us close to the door we did suffer some fresh air overload. Having said that overall the impression was good for a restaurant in this part of London.
Lovely wine, delicious food, happy atmosphere, warm welcome, friendly and helpful service. What more can you ask from a restaurant?
My son and I had a really great experience. Service was attentive without being intrusive and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very busy but we were never made to feel rushed.
Great service, even though it was very busy, pre theatre.
We enjoyed a very good meal before going to the theatre. Booking in advance was easy, and despite arriving early the table was ready. The service was quick punctual and very polite. Tables were clean and reasonably spacious. The wine was just right, the menu had plenty of choices for all tastes complimentary water was speedily delivered. In an extremely busy time for the staff our food was delivered piping hot and well presented. The Breton fish stew was very good and a bowl for the shells was automatically delivered. The service was delivered with a smile, lovely.
Roberta is the best waitress I have ever had she is amazing and deserves a raise
Lovely venue. Always nice to have a window table with more space. Great food at great prices. The duck with cherries was more than ample as a portion served with the lovely gratin potatoes. My friend had the crepes which he enjoyed too. Never fails to deliver.
Had the best meal ever Great food and great service Value is exceptional Will always come back
Good meal but very busy due to pre theatre diners. Set menu is excellent value.
Prompt, attentive service and good choice of food from Xmas menu. Comfortable venue in upstairs area.
Being disabled, I phoned to book a special table. This was not done. Staff were rushed so we were rushed at some points and had long delays at others. A couple of dishes were disappointing. I have had better experiences at Cote.
The waiters were very attentive and helpful, but the wine list needed a little more choice.
Six of us met up and although table booked for 12.30 they were happy for us to sit there from 12noon. Service friendly and excellent and we weren’t hurried out.
The friendly staff performed very well over an extremely busy lunchtime. However, our starters were not very hot (they possibly had been ready for some time waiting for someone to deliver them to the table) and served on cold plates such that they were almost cold by the time we had finished them. Also my coffee (cappuccino) was only lukewarm, such that I had to finish rather quickly before it went cold! This was a shame because the food quality was good and would have been rated excellent if not for the above issues.
Thanks so much! Manager very helpful and super kind! The client were happy!
Very good value and excellent food. Very friendly staff who were very efficient too
Good value, friendly attentive service even when very busy. Good food for the price. Highly recommended. Book first.
Would have been perfect except for disappointing attitude of waitress
Really lovely dinner. Great location and staff. Gluten free menu too.
Good location, friendly staff especially our waitress Sylvia. Excellent lunch venue
We had a good table and meal but the place was very busy and very noisy and our waitress was a bit distracted, though pleasant enough. I found the noise quite tiring... but the food was fine.
Delicious food, great service x x x x x x
We enjoyed our meal and the service was good. But as always it was very noisy and we struggled a bit to converse.
Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Prestige menu is excellent value!
Great service as always. Love the food and the atmosphere plus I can actually talk with my friends rather than having to shout!
Good Food & Service. Not rushed. Good Value for Money.
Nice meal Waiting staff excellent The only problems were, Very cold toilets grubby.
As always the service and food was of a very high stardard... thank you
Staff very pleasant as always but again St Martin’s Lane appears to be short of staff. There seems to be a big staff turnover. New staff on our visits. If that is the case it is not a good sign. ( Costs cutting? )The beef bourguignon was almost delicious: tasty but too dry and slightly over salty. My friend had the Fish pie which is usually very tasty and creamy but this time very dry with no visible sauce. However excellent desserts and coffee as always. We visit St Martin’s Lane at least once a month.
We were a party of five ladies that lunch and were so well looked after. The food was delicious. We were given the option of sitting upstairs and down and we opted to sit downstairs so that we could chat and hear each other. This was such good value for money. After we went to Westminster Abbey for a carol service. Lorna Russell
As usual having lunch with a friend, great food, friendly staff, and good value
Nice food, good service and lively atmosphere in central London
Delicious food. Nice wine. Great service. Restaurant packed. Good occasion.
