Good pre-theatre food and value as always Pity about the noise
Excellent food and attentive service, along with a wonderful atmosphere
Good as always. Free drink too which is always a plus
Our first visit to Cote St Martins Lane was as good as our regular Cote and the food and service were excellent.
As always, good value, good quality, good service. We both had a lovely lunch andlook forward to returning
Great menu food very good service excelant. We did receive a cracked wine glass but once it was pointed out it was replaced straight away.
Great welcome and service and super food. Very good atmosphere.
Have eaten here before and always enjoyed the atmosphere, but most of all the food is top quality, consistent and classic French, served by attentive but never pushy staff. We were a part of two, but were offered a four seat table in a lovely corner where we could have a proper conversation over our dinner. Top restaurant from a top chain. Will be eating here again... and again. Thank you!
Extremely friendly and efficient service. Traditionally good food sand wine. Pleasant atmosphere. Well done. See you soon.
Nice offer of complimentary drink with our theatre tickets if we had the set menu, which was fine.
A pre theatre meal, luckily we had booked as the restaurant was very busy and quite noisy. The food was lovely from a varied set menu, Service was good if a bit rushed but the waitress was pleasant and efficient. This is a good choice in Theatre Land, we would come again. Best to book a table at busy times
Always good food and value but rather disinterested offhand staff except for the manager.
Womnderful meal and drinks. Great service from the waitress who catered well to us. Made my birthday visit extra special
Excellent dinner: salmon fish, ambiance etc Except for the crumble which was thick and tasteless
This is great location, has good service and i use regualry
Very convenient for the theatre. The food was fine but my hats really went off to the staff, who politely coped with hundreds of people in a rush to be fed either before or after the theatre
Quickly seated. Prompt and friendly service. Great value for money and loved that we could order from different menus. The duck was cooked to perfection. All the meals were lovey.
Good service with good quality food. Nice décor and pleasant table service.
Brilliant experience. Amazing friendly staff. Absolutely lovely food and cocktails.
Excellent pre theatre supper! Food very good, ambiance lively and staff charming
Delicious food, very good location, cozy atmosphere, nice music and great stuff who prepared a custom gluten-free breakfast for me. Totally worth the visit!
Credit to the chefs at st Martins Lane Cotes our food was cooked perfectly and the wild mushroom sauce on my chicken was full of mushrooms and tasty. Our welsh waiter was smart and attentive, exceptional service on what was a very busy Saturday night.
Charming and friendly service and excellent food despite the restaurant being very busy. A very enjoyable evening. One small niggle - I discovered later that we were charged for the complimentary aperitif!
As always a very good meal at a very good price. I will return
Food lovely our server very friendly, but we ended up not having our dessert as they took to long to bring it and restaurant wasn’t particularly busy as most had left to go to the theatre our play didn’t start till 8 so I thought 6.15 would be a perfect time , so disappointed with no dessert
Food nice but felt very rushed. We had olives to start with a cocktail but after eating 2 olives the dinner came. Salmon was lovely but don't think it pared well with the ratatouille. Creamed spinach extremely nice. After table was cleared & pudding eaten the waiter started setting the table again, I gave a funny look & he apologised & took the new cutlery away. We still had half a bottle of wine to drink at this point. Another couples wine bucket was also put in our exit which I thought was inappropriate as it was cramped enough as it was. I do enjoy cote but will stick to the Blackheath one as much calmer & less crowded. I do understand it is a busy one because of the theatres but just found it a bit stressy.
The food here was excellent. The staff were very friendly and efficient from start to finish
Delicious food, friendly service, superb location . Always a favourite.
Great food, good value for money!! It was slightly noisy but understandable for the time and location.
Delicious meal and wine fully complimented the steak and frites. Look forward to visiting again.
A delightful catch up lunch with an old friend. The warm welcome was appreciated and the atmosphere buzzy but not noisy. We had great food from the light mains menu and some good coffee. Couldn’t have been better!
It was our first time in this Côte , and as with all your other restaurants the food and service was excellent , seven of us came to meet up with Ivan but we weren’t lucky as it was his day off, maybe next time. Regards Roger.
We are frequent customers to The Cote when ever we visit London. We know that the service and food will be excellent. Always busy and we always book in advance. Gluten Free is the bonus as my husband is a coeliac. Gill Pitt. Northamptonshire.
Shame you only do Gordon’s and Bombay Gin! I would have spent more money and had more drinks if you had a flavoured gin even just a pink gin
From start to finish the whole experience felt rushed. The noise of dishes being collected and dropped at the clearing station beside us didn’t help. As it was a birthday celebration it was a bit of a disappointment. Food was ok but not so good as some of the Cote Brassiere I have visited.
Great food, service and value for money. Highly recommended.
Very good food and service was nice and rapid Nothing to report
Usual good experience at Cote, always feel 'safe' here with gluten free food
Excellent food at a reasonable price. Service was also excellent
Service excellent, food and wine very good. Overall an enjoyable experience
Wonderful food. Wonderful staff - what more do you need? Great evening.
Excellent swift and helpful service by friendly staff, delicious food.
Food and service excellent but not for the first time my bill included items that were free. In this case a bottle of wine which was embedded in my order and recognised when I arrived!
As always - good service, good food, and high standard
What's not to like? Everything about the meal at Cote was good.
Excellent service. Reasonably priced meal which was very tasty. When you are going to the theatre you need a place like Cote.
We enjoyed the lunch at Cote, including our special bottle of wine. The only thing that could have been better was our table. I had booked a window table and it had not been saved for us. The table we had was directly under a heater and we were boiling hot! I asked if the air could be turned down but it could not.
A great choice of food . The service is slick but friendly. A perfect place to meet friends
Pre-theatre meal for my husband’s birthday. We chose the Prestige Menu and the food was very good. My only suggestion would be to serve rice with the stroganoff rather than pasta. Very good and friendly service.
Rather too much dressing on the chicken salad and as it was served in a bowl, the warm chicken made the salad greens limp. Better on a plate.
