Côte - St Martin's Lane

Lovely food, warm and friendly staff, great range on the menu and particularly gluten free options. Would highly recommend.

It was extremely busy and people's orders were getting forgotten and so they had to leave without eating otherwise they would have been late for the theatre. They forgot our drinks and deserts. We were disappointed as it wasn't up to cotes usual high standards and we won't be returning to this restaurant.

Our waitress made sure that our food was with us, as she was aware we were going to the theatre

Too Cramped, Noisy & Cold with faulty Air Conditioning, Food was seriously crap and was returned. The starters were mass produced and I could have got better quality from Aldi Stores

Music initially much too loud. Intrusive. Wider choice for vegetarians. I know Cote is French but less is eaten today.

Great choice of food and good quality at reasonable prices. Although the restaurant was very busy at the time we visited, the service was professional and food was excellent. We will definitely visit again soon!

At 5.30pm the restaurant had already run out of risotto, which I felt was bad & showed poor stock control. My friend ordered the spinach and mushroom crepes, which were in a watery sauce and were tasteless. It is usually a great restaurant & the St.Martin’s Lane one always delivers, but very sub-standard this time.

Excellent meal and service. Only downside is that tables are very close together and, because the restaurant was full, it wasn't easy to talk. Nevertheless, it was very good value for London and a good choice of food. Would recommend and use again.

Generally , we enjoy a meal at Cote. This time was exceptionally bad due to the excessive noise level making it impossible to have a normal conversation.

We had the Theatre menu. The service was quick and friendly and the food was good. We did not feel rushed. I would come again.

Extremely helpful and attentive staff with my disabled husband with a chair offered immediately we arrived and help to the table as well. Although the restaurant was full we didn’t wait long for our food.

Excellent food and service but so noisy at lunchtime with loud background music making conversation very difficult. Came away with a headache!

Had a good pre-theatre meal here. The restaurant was very busy, and serving staff were racing around to deal with customers, but I can’t fault the attentiveness of our waiters, nor the quality of the food. Portions are on the small side, but healthy and very tasty. The set menu was very good value, and service was lightning fast.

Good service and lovely food at reasonable (for London) prices. But the noise level meant that it was difficult to have a good conversation. When booking we had asked for a quiet corner but this was ignored even though downstairs tables were available.

Exceptional service. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant we were looked after and nothing was too much trouble. The food was exquisite. The waitress was exemplary and made us feel very comfortable. I have not had a better experience in a restaurant and I frequent many in London. I really hope this level of service is maintained. This is a buzzing restaurant which is always friendly, quick delivery of orders and very attentive. Menu is changed regularly and is always tasty with great selection.

Cote is always reliable and the food is good. The service is good although not always exceptional for the added charge. I elected to take up the offer of a free cocktail but due to misleading information from the first waitress we ended up not qualifying. So I will take future offers with a 'pinch of salt'.

Another excellent meal. We arrived (unexpectedly) almost one hour earlier than our booking time but your staff were very accommodating and we didn't have to wait for a table.

We had a wonderful evening at Cote St Martin's Lane for my pre birthday bash. It was the day after the Government announced lock down measures because of COVID19 so Leicester Square was eerily empty and deserted. The staff at Cote could not have been friendlier though and the meal was terrific!

My restaurant of choice when in London. Perfect place for solo diners, fabulous quality of food and great value.

Tiny portions for the special offer set meal and the main course looked like a school dinner!
