enjoyable lunch, good food , good value, good atmosphere, lovely staff
Good service. One of the dishes, the asparagus risotto was very bland.
Very good value and friendly attentive service. Attentive but not over bearing. Excellent for a pre Theatre meal. Good choice of wines at decent prices.
Very enjoyable meal pre-theatre. Service throughout was excellent (especially as I arrived late due to an overrunning commitment) and did everything to make it an good time. Only slight negative was found it quite noisy at time as it was very busy.
Busy restaurant but receive prompt & excellent service and a tasty meal.
Table was ready & we were well looked after by personable staff on a very busy Easter Holiday day .Very good pretheatre menu , good wine list all served on time!
Our service was amazing everyone was lovely. Food was a little hit and miss. We both had calamari which was nice. My salmon was a little dry. But everything else was good.
Not quite up to the normal high standard. Calamari were tasteless and fries were hard Very hot in restaurant and air con not on
Both meal and service were very good, despite the restaurant being very busy.
Excellent food and service . However the restaurant ,like other Côte restaurants we have been to , is far too noisy during busy periods . Consideration should be given for baffling the noise somewhat.
After eating in your restaurant I came down with food poisoning that very night and have been off work ever since (4 days). I will not be eating in your restaurant ever again. I cannot categorically state it was as a result of your food that I became ill but I will not be taking the chance again.
Lively and bustling restaurant with young and attentive staff. A little noisy at peak periods but to be expected. Good choice before theatre/opera attendance.
Definitely one of my favourite places to eat! The staff are friendly and the menu is gluten free accommodating without sacrificing flavour. Highly recommend even if dining alone
The staff makes many efforts to make our presence more pleasant!!. I say they do it very good!.. And customers are happy about that
To St Martins Lane again for a lunch meeting. The warmest of welcomes and kind attentive service was followed by a perfect meal in delightful surroundings and a special ambiance where you knew everything was running smoothly. Food and wine delicious, service just right. No wonder we keep coming back!
Lovely food and friendly service, in a great location. I would definitely recommend Cote to my friends, as my dining experience there has always been pleasurable.
Fabulous steak - really tasty! Excellent value as part of the 3 course pre theatre show set menu. Would definately recommend St Martin's Lane venue - very relaxed vibrant atmosphere with friendly service.
We enjoyed delicious food which was beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive on a very busy eventful evening shift. They all acted helpfully and professionally too. An absolute pleasure to dine here.
I often eat at Cote in St Martin's Lane and have always found the service and the food exceptionally good at a reasonable prince. Recently when I dined there it was my birthday and the waiters sang "Happy Birthday" which was a nice touch and good fun.
Excellent food and service, I will definitely be returning very soon!
Tasty food, excellent service for our group of 7 people. The Breton fish stew was particularly good.
Food was nice and good unobtrusive service. We had the two course pre-theatre menu which was great value and a glass of good wine 😊 Well done Cote!
Excellent meal disappointed with peach crumble it was too stodgy & I didn’t eat it
My wife and I had a very enjoyable dinner last evening. The food was well prepared and of very good standard. We were particularly impressed with the waitress who was both efficient and charming. All in all - an impressive experience.
Lovely, plesent, friendly and attentive staff. Delicious food. Very quick service, was plesently surprised. Was quite busy and noisy but it was a Friday evening so that is to be expected.
We had the set menu. Food was not good - in particular the Breton chicken was dry and had a strange texture. There was a nice selection of wine though and we enjoyed our drinks.
Lovely service and delicious food. We’ve used various branches of Cote and always find the experience reliably good. Fresh ingredients, fast delivery, smiley waiting staff, reasonably priced. What’s not to like?
Staff were very attentive, polite and efficient despite the Pre-Theatre rush. The food was lovely. Well done. It was a lovely experience after a long journey by train. Keep it up. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Good service from the waiters and good food and wine served without having to wait too long and the price was acceptable for a pre-theatre meal.
We always use one of the Cote restaurants pre theatre and were very happy with our service this evening. A very busy restaurant but we did not feel rushed and our waitress was attentive and very polite.
My mussels were not up to cote standards 4 empty and juice cold . Cheltenham’s recently were excellent . First time bad course in Cote.
I have eaten in cote two consecutive Fridays. The first Friday we were seated upstairs and it was lovely , good food, good service Yesterday we were seated downstairs, very noisy, very hot, The menu had changed and several options were not available Excellent value none the less
Busy and buzzy pre-theatre venue but staff were efficient and friendly and the food very good. Invariably end up chatting to your neighbours and certainly not the place to go for an intimate tete a tete!
The food and service were both great! We did find it rather difficult to hear each other talking.
At first, The team could not find our booking which include complimentary drinks. The service team then stated you can only have the complimentary drinks if you chose from the ala cartel menu. 4 bottles of wine and six meals later. The service team still made an issue of cocktails and grudgingly gave the drinks
A very nice meal just before the theatre, the staff were exceptionally nice and would go again. All cotes I have been to have been of the same standard.
This Restaurant was over crowded tables to close together as for the poor staff they were rushing about everywhere and looked exhausted - this was a Saturday 5-30 but have to also say the food was lovely - have used vote in covent garden and Glasgow and prefer those of maybe try a different time
Love Côte and always know that your getting good food. Slow service even though quiet and restaurant bit tired and scruffy . Food was ok. Staff were nice
Bright and cheerful welcome and service which continued through the meal, even when the restaurant was full and staff very busy, with the pre theatre rush. Layout and tabling a good mix for different size groups. Wine and food were brought when appropriate without delay or undue haste. Food and preparation was all good quality, although the lardons had too much vinaigrette for my taste. Altogether a good experience .
Very nice evening, great food and very good service - recommended
Lovely food, good service and value for money. Look forward to coming back.
Waitress was not friendly and welcoming. Table was ready on time.
Although very busy we were not rushed at all. Very good belly pork
A central location with good ,well trained staff serving a varied menu at great value
Good food; good value; excellent service worthy of the name
Excellent food and service. Just a shame they cram tables in so close together that it is always noisy.
Lovely buzz, great staff. Food was good as it always is with Côte, however a little on the cool side. Maybe the distance travelled from kitchen to table!
What a fantastic time we had! 6 of us were celebrating my mum's 80th birthday on Easter Saturday and a busy restaurant did not prevent the manager and staff from spoiling her rotten and making her day. Highly commended - the personal touch in such an unlikely place. We were bowled over. Food also good, and reasonably priced. Thank you everybody
The meal was of excellent quality and of exceptional value. However the service was so good that I wanted to send a message to your Head Office
Staff new were going to theatre afterwards and attended to us very promptly and ensured we enjoyed our food and could leave in good time.
