Good sized space, so you don't feel too crowded, even when busy. Very good service, and food excellent! We both enjoyed our visit, and felt the bill was reasonable too.
Very attentive service and excellent food. Will come again and try other locations. Coped well with complicated dietary requirements. Good setting and atmosphere. Very happy
We enjoyed this restaurant. Very nice food at very affordable price. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Good value and good location to our theatre.
Excellent service. Friendly staff. We dined from the pre theatre menu which was excellent value. Delicious food. Perfect for a pre theatre meal. Would definitely go again.
Excellent food and service. And a free Kir Royal if you're going to Book of Mormon. Really doesn't get much better than this in central London.
Good great as usual and also very good Gluten Free selection. Only disappointment was sitting directly under the air conditioning unit was a bit chilly.
Excellent pre-theatre meal. Place was incredibly busy but service was swift, efficient and friendly. Steak frites was delicious. Amazing that it's so reasonable and good right in the heart of theatre, and.
Pre show fixed price menu was really tasty and great value. The restaurant was very busy but we were served efficiently and with a friendly manner by all staff, who should be commended for dealing with a full restaurant so professionally whilst maintaining their humour, many thanks.
Good food from an extensive French themed menu, pre theatre deal and a specials menu, efficient quick service and reasonably priced. Ideal for a pre theatre meal
Lovely menu & excellent service. Really enjoyed the omelet, freshly prepared. Four of us had an excellent meal from the set menu at reasonable cost
This restaurant is in a good location for most theatres. It has a fantadtic pre theatre menu. Great value and excellent service from all staff.
very nice atmosphere very clean toilets great food at a good fair price the waiting staff very helpful good wine at a fair price its a great place to visit
I am a regular visitor to this restaurant and the food is always beautiful and the service is very good. Shame the tip is automatically added at 12%
Really had a lovely set meal all three course with my friend after visiting an exhibition. The food was excellent and service really appropriately attentive.
3 courses for £13.95. Choice was amazing and quality was superb. Portion size was good although we did have two additional vegetable dishes at £2.95 each. Good service and a great location. Definitely recommend Cote and I will be using them again.
Missed reservation due to going to the other Cote near Covent Garden by mistake. The manager was really helpful and accommodating and managed to find us a table. The food and the service were both excellent.
Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Efficient service in spite of the fact that the restaurant was packed. As usual a great menu offering fantastic value for the money.
Restauarnt in the heart of London's Theatreland. Busy in a nice way. Glorious weather today and so doors slid back. Clean and modern decor. Pleasant and attentive staff, nice embience, fab food and a good price.
Not as good as usual, had to remind the staff re my main course. Side salad was not worth he extra £2.50. Waitress did apologise for the delay
It was very busy before the theatre but service and food good and very reasonably priced as always - well done Cote you've done it again.
Very nice meal and good service. We will definitely visit again. If there's any criticism, it would be that there could be more space between tables.
Great value pre-theatre menu, great service, convenient location for many theatres (we were going to the Opera House - about 5 min walk), wouldn't hesitate to recommend !
Friendly and welcoming reception. Very busy restaurant and as usual all the staff were very at tentative and smiling. Food was brilliant , my wife and I choose different dishes each time we visit Cotes and have never been disappointed. House red was just fine and will visit this location again++
Lovely location and restaurant easy to find and very close to transportation. Staff were helpful, accommodating and friendly. Definitely one of my favourite Cote restaurants. The food was delicious and well presented.
The tables, especially ones for 2 people are really squashed in into the restaurant, had a negative effect on my experience. Also, we felt the waitress was really rushed off her feet- maybe hire more wait staff?
Reliably good food with polite and efficient service - something for everyone on the menu, even the fussy. Busy enough on a Friday night but not packed to rafters and we did not feel hurried on after finishing our meals.
I enjoy dining here when I am in London. The food is very good and reasonably priced. It's always crowded so making a reservation is recommended.
Great friendly service as always in this branch, it's always busy pre theatre but always service with a smile June menu nice recommend the seabass
Great speedy service. Lovely food in a handy location in the middle of the West end and very good value 3 course meal. Asparagus starter was a bit sparse though
Great restaurant in a good central location. Fantastic food and service enjoyed by both myself and my wife for a pre show meal. Will book again.
Excellent,classy...exceptional food....good time to go at 5.30pm. The asparagus was to die for and the baguette beautiful presented. The staff happy and I could ve married any of the waitresses!
Fine as always, great service and superb value. I come from a place where they also know what good food is, however at a much higher price. My colleagues and I are totally into Cote. Never a glitch. This time I have a suggestion. To change from the eternal Sauvignon blanc we had a Macon Villages; not faulty but rather bland; in fact unbecoming to what we are used to at Cote. It can be removed from the wine list. That said, it is a minor critique; one can always find something and my suggestion does not diminish in any way the great value, good food and friendly service we are privileged to receive at Cote.
Efficient service despite being very busy. However both our steaks were a little cold as the waiter had to wait until a waitress was available to unload tray containing our meal
We Went for the 3 course pre-theatre menu which had a good choice and was served up very nicely. Staff were friendly and service was good.
Excellent service and food. Would recommend to anyone especially if requiring good value for money reasonably quick service, but best to book at peak times.
Great restaurant, can be busy pre theatre hours but staff are friendly and the pre theatre menu is excellent, with a good variety and good value
It was, as expected very busy for pre theatre dinner, service was good at first and then slowed down, so we ended up rushing! We ordered the bill at the same time as the dessert; the bill came but the dessert didn't! We had to leave without our dessert. Not happy.
Good food with good account taken of individual preferences. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Ideal for a pre-theatre visit or between two performances. Centrally situated to make visits easier.
We arrived for a pre theatre booking at 17:45 and were immediately seated. The Pre theatre meal is very good value. The restaurant filled up very quickly and although it seemed chaos everything was served like clockwork by the extremely hard working staff. The food was superb too. We will be back. Highly recommended!
Pre -Theatre looks good value based on my observation of other guests - went for the a la carte which though slightly more expensive was tasty and of the quantity required. Service good 66 wine well priced.
Another disappointing experience on the pre-theatre set menu (only 1 of us had it). The restaurant is under staffed for this very busy period so the service is very poor. The food was below standard sadly too. We ordered coffee. It took 20 minutes to arrive and it was very cold when it did. I finally managed to attract a waitress and ask her to replace it ... which she did. The second one was also cold but we were not in the mood to complain. Optional service was (as always) already included in the bill so ... what is optional about that?!? Do they really think people would ask for it to be removed and the whole payment slip done again when you have the machine in your hands. I am so loyal to Cote and am beginning to wonder why. It can be a great experience but it can equally be very poor ... as it was today.
The staff are friendly and efficient and the service is very good. The food arrives quickly and is delicious with a good selection, and on warm plates which to me is essential. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will certainly be returning. The only reason that I gave a 5 instead of a 6 was because the tables are too close together.
We booked a table at St Martin's but wrongly went to Tavistock St. The staff kindly offered us a table and we had a very nice meal.
We had a lovely meal with friends - all of us had the set 3 course lunch which was such good value. Looking forward to our next visit.
great location, good food, quick service , which is what you need with a pre theatre menu. Only downside was when splitting the bill the waiter suggested £74 was half of £114... good try!!
Good service, pre theatre menu - good choice. Food portions good size. friendly, professional staff. Decaff coffee blend could do with a rethink! Good experience, will return.
The seabass was good but uninspiring. A bit dry, it should be accompanied with half a lemon and vegetables, offering a variety of options and not just puree (rice often comes with fish). Suggest a glass of white whine with it for extra £3
Exceptional food, great location and attentive staff. The calamari was cooked so well it melted in the mouth and the duck and pork belly dishes were full of flavour. Presented with flair too. Highly recommended.
Just returned from a delicious lunch at Cote St Martins. The food was delightful and the service First Class. Fortunately we were there at a "quiet" time and seated in an equally nice quiet corner. One of the current specials is Grilled Place and it was wonderful and recommended.
We usually have a fabulous experience at Cote but yesterday was no where near as good. The food was excellent but the service was poor. We were downstairs where there are no windows and there is no atmosphere. The service was slow; a beer we had ordered on arrival only arrived when we prompted the waiter towards the end of the meal and the veg arrived when we had virtually finished our meal. The Manager did apologise and reduced the bill but I am afraid to say the overall experience was not what we have enjoyed at this restaurant in the past.
