Overall very pleasant meal but there was no tuna steak for a nicoise which was disappointing and the restaurant was extremely busy with tightly packed tables. Otherwise food was lovely and service very nice.

There are no facilities for disabled. Toilets are downstairs, down a long steep stairway. Floor in the restaurant was grubby. Food could have been hotter, but ice cream on dessert was melted before we got it. Service and attitude of staff could not be faulted and it was a very busy lunchtime.

Lovely restaurant with a great menu, no matter where, Cote never disappoints. We were a party of 11 and everything ran smoothly. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about our meal at Cote, Covent Garden, was just fine. We enjoyed courses selected from the set menu although my cod croquettes might have benefitted from more fish flavour to complement the potato content. The wine was very good and the service was excellent. This continues to be our favourite branch of Cote.

Great quick service and delicious food and wine at reasonable price - perfect for supper with friends before heading to close-by theatres in London. Definitely recommend.

Excellent location for Trafalgar Square. Friendly, efficient staff who were eager to please but not too pushy. Despite being busy there was no pressure to leave. Well done.

Sadly we had to wait so long for our food that we had to skip dessert and ask for main course as we were off to the theatre. We had said we need to leave by 7.00 and we arrived at 5.30

We have been to this Cote on previous occasions but last week it was very busy and very hot no air conditioning so an uncomfortable meal. There seemed to be a staff shortage and our main course arrived before I had finished the first course. So not as good as usual would go again in case it was just a one off .

Relaxed atmosphere, attentive yet unobtrusive service and excellent food; always reliable. Three course lunch menu at £14 per head is just outstanding value for money.

Busy noisy restaurant, feels a little like a great fast food place rather than a relaxing restaurant. But it has good service and nice food

Clean and friendly restaurant offerning prompt but unhurried service with a good choice of food on both the A la Carte and Set menu (£13.95 for 3 courses as of Spring 2017). Ideally placed for a pre-show dinner. (Half a Sixpence at the Noel Coward Theatre - which is, quite literally, just across the road)

The restaurant and staff were extremely good and efficient however the pasta dish taken by two, we both thought was very bland and liquidy the rest was as ever good.

Food and service as good as always. However, it was a very busy time - early evening - and hence very noisy. Tables are very close together. Good for a quick meal before going on somewhere, but not for a quiet, leisurely evening.

Very successful and everyone enjoyed their food.. only problem was the bill. I had asked if we could pay separately but when the bill came it was for all 10. Each worked our what they owed (but some items were very strange on the bill.. i.e. £1.+ for puddings whereas several were on the two course meal so should not be charged extra).... and we had each put in a tip, but the total money collected only came to the bill total. Presume the service charge had already been added. The waitress was brilliant.

Good service. Good food. Good experience. Try it, you won't be disappointed. We had lunch on a busy, very hot Saturday. Our table was by the entrance next to a large open window/door. The cooling breeze was most welcome.

We booked following a recommendation from my sister. What a find! Nice area, lovely decor and an excellent value for money 3 course meal. We opted for the theatre menu and I have to say the food was really good and great value, especially in central London. The staff too were pretty efficient and our waitress warm and friendly. I have already told friends about the Cote Brasserie and would definitely book again next time we visit the capital.

I have been to this branch of Cote before and no problems experienced. The low rating given today is due to the very slow service we received. Also both courses were taken to wrong table and know one asked us how our meal was.

On a baking hot day we were given a cool table by the window (as requested), the staff were incredibly friendly and made some slight adjustments to the menu to suit our dietary requirements, and the whole experience was excellent.

We were warmly welcomed on our arrival at this restaurant & shown to our table by a very friendly member of staff. Service was excellent & our waiter kindly brought me a basket of bread with my soup when I mentioned I'd had this at another branch of Cote. The 3 courses my husband & I had were excellent value for money at £13.95 each ( especially as many tourists rate London so expensive for eating out ). We spent a leisurely 2 hours there prior to our theatre outing & I would not hesitate to visit this branch again in the future. If I had to mention a downside, it would be to say this restaurant is very busy pre-theatre, & therefore becomes very noisy with customers talking, but that goes to show how popular Cote is.

Ok but not great. Table was dirty, white wine was not cold and ordered a portion of chips for £2.95 - I expected a bigger portion for the price.
