Very friendly welcome, good food and a wonderful free bottle of wine! I love a Côté, special offer or not. The food is always consistently good.

As usual excellent service and very competent waitress although she was still under training. First day of the new set menu and we will be coming again soon - delicious!

Cote have a light and delicious lunch menu, perfect for a pre-theatre meal. They provided great service by unobtrusive yet attentive waiting staff. Absolutely perfect

The place was heaving, the tables are crammed in so there is no privacy & the service was manic & chaotic. Our order got lost or forgotten, so our whole experience took 2 hours. The venue was very loud too.

The food was good and the service was very efficient and attentive. I was very happy with the overall experience and would certainly use the restaurant again.

The food was very good,but the service was ok as one of our starters and desserts came late. It was a very busy day for the staff. I will recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic first visit to Cote Brasserie in St Martin’s Lane. Had the 2 course lunch offer, couldn’t believe the great quality for the price. Had a lovely waitress Sylvia who looked after us. Would certainly recommend and will definitely be going back there! A big thumbs up!!!!

Very frantic service. Food and service not up to the usual standard of the cote brasseries we have visited in other parts of the country.

The fixed price menu is exceptionally good value, offering a wide choice. Service on this occasion [31st October] was a bit haphazard, particularly when it came to paying the bill.

Good food as ever, charming and excellent service.........but unfortunately we had a very noisy table large beside us so it was almost impossible to converse.

We love Cote for value, friendliness of staff and interesting menus that change regularly. Even though we visit frequently we appreciate the choices on the menu and the wines are always good too.

Excellent and fast service, and very good food with good choice on pre-theatre menu. As we go to the London Coliseum regularly, we look forward to visiting Cote often.

We arrived at your restaurant at 6pm for a pre-theatre meal. There was a clear impression that you were understaffed. Our pre-order of olives never arrived. The dressing for the salad first course was requested 3 times. The main course finally arrived at 5 to 7 giving us 10 minutes to eat. We were far from impressed. A shame as we have often eaten in your restaurant pre-theatre.

Enjoyed our meal. Service friendly, food very good. It was busy, so longer wait for drinks and food than we would have liked. We were pleased to receive a genuine offer, rather than one with lots of restrictions.

This was a very pleasant dining experience. The ambience of the restaurant was ideal for our small group of friends. We were meeting for lunch before going to afternoon matinee at the theatre. The food was very good and the service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. The pre-theatre menu is very good value.

We dined at Cotes St Martins Lane on 25th October,it was as always an excellent dinner, efficient and friendly service,thoroughly recommend whether for pre-theatre or an evening out.

The staff are always efficient and friendly, and the food is lovely. The ambience is great and the prices are very reasonable. I will be returning there as usual.

Great quality/value ratio for the lunch/pre theatre dinner menu. I thought it was only available during the week so was pleasantly surprised that it was offered on the weekend too at this location.

The food was fine but the portions were really rather small (we had the two-course lunch and one of the specials), however the staff were friendly and efficient.

Excellent set menu even on a Sunday with good ambiance and attentive service. Would certainly recommend and revisit either here in Covent Garden or elsewhere.

The restaurant has very nice food, good service and prices are very reasonable. The ambience is good but it can be a bit noisy sometimes.

Starters very slow in coming and had to chase as we were in danger of missing our show. Main courses, chicken and sea bream over cooked. Otherwise staff very pleasant.

Lovely food, great service. I had the mushroom risotto - extremely tasty. My partner had steak frites which he said was really good. We both had the chocolate mousse for dessert, it was to die for!!! Highly recommend for the pre-theatre deal, excellent value for money.

We’ve been a few times and will come again. Althoigh it can get a bit too noisy the food is above average and the staff are attentive . The wine choice is also reasonably good.

The food is of a high standard and the service is good. But the acoustics are very bad. If the restaurant is busy there is an almost unbearable din and you have to shout to make yourself heard when talking to your dinner partner. This makes for a not very gentle dining experience.

Excellent meal and service for a very good price.Perfect start to our evening as going to theatre which was only 100 metres away.Would certainly recommend restaurant and advisable to book.

Good value : 2 x 3 course set menu and 1 × 3 course à la carte +2 bottles of Merlot and coffees for £130 including "optional" service charge which is added automatically to the bill. Very busy at 2 PM on Saturday. Servers did their best, though a few quibbles, the principal one being that the main courses did not arrive together – there was a 10 minute time delay between the first (which arrived unexpectedly halfway through the starter) and last. Very noisy, pretty little soft material to absorb noise. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the food and will certainly be returning!

My fish cake with poached egg and spinach was delicious albeit a rather small portion. My friend is on a cow's dairy and citrus free diet and she could not have any dessert from the menus so that was a slight disappointment but I realise you cannot cater for every dietary issue.

Queue for tables was chaotic & not well managed. Also, waiter was rude & looked appalled when I asked for ice & never brought it!! However, always great food & atmosphere!!

It’s an unusually good pre theatre menu with lots of choice and well priced. Nice atmosphere. Really great service despite very full restaurant in central London. Perfect

Fantastic food. Took into account our special request of wanting a table next to the window. Service was also very good. Definitely recommend the rib eye steak, cooked to perfection!

Pretty good, reliable and predictable. Value for money. First time ever only kir royale complimentary. Normal kir chargeable. Menu is varied but portions seem smaller than previously. Service outstanding as usual.

Love this place for pre theatre dinners. Good food, good service and good price. There is always a buzzy atmosphere as well during the pre theatre time which makes an enjoyable start to the evening.
