I haven’t eaten in this branch for some time and we booked for lunch. On arrival the manager on duty was busy chatting and didn’t acknowledge us, she then stopped talking and looked over and offered a weak” hello” and she took us to our table dropped the menus on the table and walked hurriedly back to her desk and resumed her conversation with a chap who was drinking coffee from a take away cup and was obviously a friend who was calling by for a chat! Our waitress was excellent as was another manager who also appeared later, very friendly and attentive. The food was of a good standard but when this branch is full it’s very noisy due to the low ceiling and for that reason the people around us had to raise their voices to speak each other and we did as well it was very difficult to hear each other. For this reason we left and had desert and coffee elsewhere.

The food was lovely but the service was a bit slow. Also, they don’t have a disabled toilet or any baby changing facilities, which I think is not great in this day and age.

Very nice food. Good value on the set Menu.....However I have two minor niggles. 1: The tables were far too close together - especially on both sides of the continuous long 'barrier'. 2: The noise was extremely loud, we could not hear ourselves speak. Because the loud couple that was 60cm, on the next table, we could hear all their woes! One table, next to us, at the end, asked to be moved because they complained we were too close to them!

Had a lovely lunch here. Good atmosphere, prompt service without being rushed and nice food, what’s not to like. We ate off the A La Carte menu as we had an offer of free Kir Royal and starter. For 2 mains, 1desert, bottle of lower cost wine and an extra glass of wine bill was £75. May have been cheaper to forget the free offer and have the set menu. We always find that the staff are always friendly and engaging at Cote Brasserie, well done the training team!

Inevitably very noisy with pre theatre crowd, but service was also rather slow and some confusion re our initial drinks order. However, food as always excellent and were able to take up our free wine offer.

For a pre-theatre dinner it is second to none! Generous amounts of well-prepared food, very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and efficient. If you're lucky, your theatre tickets will include a free Kir Royal each with your meal there - how good is that? Best to book in advance, though, as very busy at this time of day.

Service not the best. Water brought without glasses. Had to ask for them after a little while. Steak was over salted, and so was the mushroom risotto. We didn't complain about that and only realised that 3 of us were affected until we were nearly finished. I couldn't finish my steak, a first - we regularly visit Cote Brasseries elsewhere and the steak/frites is a favourite dish. 3 plates cleared while 1 person still eating. Waitress tried to take that plate away, asking, "Finished?" A little wrestle to keep the plate. Crumble brought instead of creme caramel. Waitress frowned saying we had definitely ordered the crumble. A long, long wait for the creme caramel, which we had to grab from someone who brought it into the restaurant tried to take it elsewhere, couldn't find where to deliver it and was just about to take it back to the kitchen! Meanwhile an employee was busy doing something on a nearby table with a large no of iPhone like devices from which emanated loud noises/adverts etc. In addition quite a few people (have no idea who they were) kept joining her, going back and forth and generally acting as though there were no customers in the restaurant! A couple may have been people who had finished their shift, I don't know, but it was very inappropriate.

The flatbread for the starter was hard and dry, so was the tuna on top and the onions were few to be seen. The main course was much better but rather salty. The dessert was good but my friend's berries were still frozen. Not as good as last time. Only expensive because the food was not worth the money for the first course.

Good service, polite and attentive staff. Food good value and tasty. We booked for 6.45 after the theatre but unfortunately had to wait nearly half an hour for our table. It was peak time for pre theatre so probably a time slot best avoided in the future.

Excellent in every respect very good varied menu at reasonable prices particularly for central London. Good attentive service and very enjoyable ambiance. Cote is a first class chain which never seems to let one down.

I don’t know why I write reviews for Cote Brasserie. Whichever one we use it’s always the same, great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price. Here’s to the next time.

Excellent food served with a smile. Plenty of gluten free options and good value for central London. Throw in a free bottle of wine and it's the complete deal.

Initially good service, but let down by ordering two coffees and asking for the bill at the same time, then finding two glasses of wine had been added. It was a busy environment and noisy as well, but I think the mistake may have been down to language skills lacking in the waiter who took the order.

Our evening was perfect with one exception. The “January complimentary red wine “ was very disappointing !! It was very dry & left an “aftertaste “ in our mouths !!! We suspect you had an excessive amount of stock that you were trying to offload !!!

We had been to a matinee so arrived at a particularly busy time as evening pre theatre diners were in but taken straight to our booked table and attended to almost immediately. Great and friendly service from beginning to end. The food was beautiful, every course delicious; the very nicest restaurant meal we have had in a long time and a great atmosphere too. A very, very good experience worth far more than 6!

I booked in response to a special January offer of a free bottle of wine - the wine was not forthcoming on our visit and I wasn’t going to embarrass myself by asking for it - so, rather disappointing esp as I think they do a good job usually

Visited on a Tuesday pre-theatre and it really was busy with staff rushing round all over the place and every table taken. We had the set menu, which was delicious. The waitress seemed quite keen for us to order side dishes on top and we were pleased we did as the set menu portions aren’t large. All in all, an ideal place for a pre-theatre bite.

Great pre theatre offer. Food good quality if portions are a bit miserly! Great A La Carte menu too to be saved for when we have more time. Menu is a great collection of classics, really well done. Prompt and efficient service which is important for pre-theatre.

Very nice pre theatre dinner. Seating was not the best as the six of us we were cramped in a table that should be for four or maybe five people, but service was fast which is always appreciated when you have to rush to the theatre afterwards.

The wine I was promised on my voucher was not available. The substitute was a cheaper wine and not good. The air conditioner was freezing us all. The service was good as was the food.
