The food is good, the wine is good and the people are nice. The set menus are very good value for money. What more can anyone ask?

Friendly and helpful staff, good food and wine, all at very reasonable prices.Location great for theatres and art museums and opening times mean that you can eat when you want to.

I'm afraid starters were grossly overpriced for what they were - £6.95 for 6 very small pieces of asparagus. Bowl of olives was in fact a saucer, about 8 olives in all for £2.80 I think. Best to stick to main course which was better.

Great food and service. Thanks! A lovely atmosphere and a good value lunchtime menu. Our children thoroughly enjoyed their meal choices too. We’ll definitely be back.

Great food, good service, it was very busy but we weren't rushed or forgotten. Very reasonable prices. Only problem for me was the big folding doors were open and I feel the cold!

Always good. I always have the same meal though! Consistent. First glass of wine very warm! It was changed though quite happily and the next glass was indeed cold. Extremely busy but happy staff and we had no complaints re service! Even got the table I had requested. Thanks to all.

We went for a pre-theatre meal and the restaurant was really busy at this time. Service was excellent and the food was delicious - a perfect combination. I had the hake provencale from their June menu, which was wholesome and very tasty. My husband enjoyed his veal escalope, which he described as a large portion and very filling. We both enjoyed our desserts - apple tart and creme caramel - and our meal was washed down by a nicely chilled, complimentary bottle of rose wine, which was part of a special offer for June. Great value for money, especially for London and we really enjoyed our time there.

The food was good excellent pre theatre venue let down by we booked with June offer of a free bottle of wine waitress made a huge fuss about it despite us having the offer with us and then tried to charge it on the bill. Why have a promotion if you don’t want to honour it, Also only one toilet working in the ladies. A shame as a good meal let down by issues that should be avoidable.

Busy branch of Cotes food generally fine staff friendly & attentive. The experience was somewhat marred by the fact that the rocket served to my wife looked well past its served by date. As a result my wife was less than pleased & for the first time in her life complained. In fairness the matter was quickly resolved & an adjustment made to the bill.

Great food, well priced and ideally situated in London. One drawback is the noise level. We were there at lunch time and it was hard to carry out a conversation as the tables are quite close together and with everyone talking it was difficult to hear what was being said on our table.

Lovely lunch from the Prestige lunch menu - just wish they had advised in advance that we were ordering from this rather than the regular lunch. The noise level was just tolerable! Best to eat late if you want some peace and a good conversation!

Very busy so I was really glad we had booked a table. Excellent location and food. I like the new menu. Didn't score a five as I could visibly see how stressed out the girl serving in our area downstairs was

Great restaurant, excellently situated for a pre-theatre (or post-matinee) meals at several of London's theatres such as The Noel Coward, The London Coliseum, The Garrick, The Duke of York's and the Wyndham's Theatre. Great value (3 courses from £14.95) and friendly service but It can get very busy if you don't pre-book. The chain has recently introduced a "Prestige" set menu (£19.95 for three courses) which has a more interesting set of choices than that available on the "standard" set menu and it seems that the staff have been "encouraged" to push this, so you may not be offered the "standard" set menu unless you specifically ask for it.

Not an enjoyable experience although we have dined here before and realise many pre/post theatre customers. Nowhere to stand/sit while waiting for our table - part of a queue out of the door! Ordered olives and bread but main meal served before we got these. Staff very polite and friendly but obviously under pressure. A noisy, frenetic atmosphere where you couldn't really talk. Not to be recommended as a place to meet in conducive surroundings.

Long wait to get served but nice service once we got going. The new 16.95 menu is OK but just seems like a cheeky way of moving some items off the 12.95 menu!

Very disappointed as I visited with a group of friends to partake of their pre-theatre menu prior to visiting the nearby Coliseum. We were not offered their pre-theatre menu but a more expensive prix fixed menu. We were delayed as we had to wait to receive the menu we wanted before we could order. Food wise, this menu was as good as in my previous experiences here and the ambience is always buzzy at this time.

Very reasonably priced food and wine, with efficient and friendlyservice. A few healthy dessert options such as fruit salad or citrus sorbet would have been welcomed.
