Good location especially is you are going to the London Coliseum which is only a couple of minutes walk away. Good food, good service and good prices especially if you go for one of the set meals.
We arrived early for our booking but that was not a problem. Everything about the meal, service and surroundings was superb. Definitely recommend and tevisit
Always a pleasure to eat here. Consistently good, tasty food and friendly service even when under pressure.
Really lovely place with lovely staff ...cannot fault the food or service...
It was very busy when we arrived,so weren’t served as quickly as we would have liked. Glasses were put on the table, but we didn’t receive any water. The drinks took time to arrive, but food was served in good time and was very good!
Pleasant atmosphere and very good service. The pre theatre menu offers very good value . The choice of starters is particularly good but as always the choice of puddings could be improved - something fruity and light is needed.
The service and food was good, but the restaurant was very busy. We felt cramped with tables very close this created a very noisy environment making conversation difficult.
We booked for a pre-theatre meal. The restaurant was very busy on a very hot evening. The hostess who greeted us was very charming and welcoming and tried her best to seat us as near to the air conditioning as possible. Our server was also smiley and super efficient. Water brought to the table along with the requested ice. Drinks orders taken quickly and delivered to the table as ordered. Our food was very good and exceeded our expectations for a very busy restaurant in central London. We enjoyed the experience and will seek out Cote when we are eating out again.
Great value, service and location for shows. Only marked down due to cold fries which was qickly rectified. Pre booking advised as it gets prett busy.
Food good but very hot in restaurant and tables very close together. Would recommend and would go back as always good service and value for money.
Excellent food and friendly service as usual. The price is reasonable and the ambiance can be relaxing or manic depending on the time of day but a sense of calm with a smile prevails. Always consistent and always delicious.
Good breakfast. Great choice and value. Service a little slow but all waitresses very polite and friendly. Happy to recommend but not if you are in a hurry.
I had booked for 5.30pm unfortunately my guests didn’t arrive until 6pm. We didn’t feel pressurised and the pre theatre meal was excellent and good value as usual. Great service
No handicapped ramp or level entrance. Poor starter, ratatouille not cooked enough and served cold. No French bread served with meal. Steak frites: steak really poor and mealy texture but the frites are delish.
Friendly polite staff. Excellent service and fantastic food.. Excellent value for money. Best creme brulee I have tasted for a very long time. Highly recommend
The food was good & the atmosphere was good but our waiter was surly & unfriendly. My first visit to this particular Cote (as I live in Brighton) & was certainly not as welcoming as Brighton.
Unfortunately. we were in London on a VERY hot day. The restaurant was very crowded and noisy. We decided to eat at a table outside on the pavement. My chicken and walnut salad was very nice but my husbands meal, Spinach crepes looked quite overcooked and not very palatable. We preferred the Cote in Brighton.
Friendly staff & delicious food. You know what to expect at Cote restaurants & they don’t let you down! And the special 2-course set menu is such good value for money.
Great location and an enjoyable meal with good customer service. It was good value although my guest did find fish dish salty. The restaurant was cool and comfortable
We ordered St.Chinian - a bottle of Chinon arrived - this was rectified, but only once the starter was being served. On the bill, again Chinon - again this was corrected, but we had to point this out. Also no paper in the Female Toilet cubicle I used - by now it was too late to point this out to a member of the staff, as we needed to leave.
Good customer service, I always feel welcomed at cote st Martin’s Lane staff are friendly happy to help. Good food and nice atmosphere too 😊
Excellent food and very good value for money. As a consequence of their success: it was busy and crowded! Very friendly staff. It remains one of my top restaurants for a pre Theatre meal.
Food was very good and very reasonably priced. Good choices on the set menu. We were lucky in the heat as our table was under air conditioning vent. Extremely busy at 5.30 but service was very efficient.
Although very busy when we arrived as in the middle of the set menu period, the service was helpful and prompt and the food its usual high standard.
On previous visits we have always been given the prix fix pre theatre menu. This time we were presented with a more expensive menu and it was not explained that the prix fix menu was on the other side of the card. As a result, the food was not as good, and the overall cost was more expensive. To be fair, the manager did offer us a glass of prossecco to compensate, but it was a very hot evening and we were keen to get into the fresh air.
Excellent food and service .The staff were friendly but not overbearing and were cheerful in spite of the late hour. We will certainly eat there again
Always reliable. Service excellent. Met a friend for lunch. Even though the restaurant was busy we never felt either rushed or neglected. Happy to recommend.
Usual high standard of cuisine which was very good. 5-6.30 was however a peak time for pre-theatre bookings so the restaurant was packed to the rafters, hot and noisy and the staff seemed to be run off their feet, all of which detracted from an otherwise good experience. Perhaps Cote should encourage better time management for bookings in the West End. Still a favourite venue though.
Convenient restaurant for the theatres. Easy to book on-line and very accommodating to last minute changes. Food always of a high standard and service friendly.
Restaurant was hot and noisy. Without air conditioning on a hot day, dining was sweaty and uncomfortable. Calamari' coating was hard, dry and tasteless as was the tartare sauce that came with it. Worse dining experience I have had in a long time
Very slow service. We had to wait 15 minutes before anyone came to our table. We saw two different couples come and go at the table beside us whilst we were there. They were given menus but after waiting 10 minutes or more, they left. Food was ok. The steak was over cooked and was a little on the tough side. Not sure I’d recommend Cotê de Brasserie.
A good value experience with friends. A comprehensive set of menus gave a wide range of options. There was no pressure to finish and leave so we were able to relax during the meal.
Prompt and courteous service. Good food and drink. However, if summers continue to be this hot Cote need to invest in more air conditioning in July.
Lovely meal at Côte. The pate to start was delicious as was the steak. Skip the desserts on the set menu and go for one from the a la carte. The crene brûlée I delicious.
Excellent food at Cote St.Martin's Lane with so many choices we were hard pushed to make those crucial decisions...! Staff very friendly and helpful. Dessert order was mixed up but quickly remedied. Thank you Cote St.Martin's Lane. We are sure to book again soon
food was great, atmosphere was buzzing and extremely good value. Downsides are the tables are close together and the service worked really hard but at that price in central London it's hard to fault.
Great value, food and service - as ever! Lovely choice of menus and flexible options. Very busy for pre-theatre crowd - booking a must - but thinned our later and very relaxed.
Efficient service and pleasant staff. The booking arranged was available on time although I had said we may be delayed as we did not know the end of the performance
The restaurant has very nice food, good service and at a very reasonable cost. The location is extremely good, being in central London and very close to theatres and other venues.
An excellent afternoon having lunch in Cote St Martin's Lane. Ribeye steaks cooked to perfection. Service excellent and staff very friendly. Highly recommend a visit.
So disappointing I have been to Cote many times this was the worst meal ever. The starters were good..artichoke salad and tomato soup. My husband could not eat his steak I had the breaded chicken which was dry and completely tasteless. We were so disappointed as it was a special day out.
We were greeted courteously, the service was brilliant, the food was excellent and we were allowed to chat to our lunch companion without being hassled at the end of our meal. I only wish, as in France, we could have carafes or demi-carafes of house wine with the meal. I would absolutely recommend 'Cote' as a place to meet up with friends for lunch.
Excellent rapid service which is what mattered to me as this was a work lunch today. V. Good Selection for lunch menu and fresh well presented food.
Cote brasserie are consistently good, and this was no exception. Well trained, helpful and friendly staff plus excellent food made this an enjoyable visit. The restaurant was extremely busy but staff coped well - and with a smile. We would not hesitate to eat here again.
The staff were very friendly and worked extremely hard as the restaurant was full with a lot of people (like me) trying to get to the theatre for 7.30 p.m. The menu was varied and the 3 course set menu very good value.
Excellent service and food. On a very hot day, carafes of water were readily offered and replaced. Usual Cote standard - thank you! We and our granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed it.
Friendly welcoming staff and great food of generous proportions. I recommend the Tomates Breton and the Tuna Nicoisse which was cooked to perfection. Couldn’t manage a sweet despite them all being so tempting maybe next time because there will definitely be one !!!
I had a good meal and it was great they the restaurant was air conditioned! My friend was a bit disappointed that the toast with her tomato based starter was cold. But that’s just personal taste. I like Côte and in fact will be having lunch in your Bluewater branch on Friday 20 July
Very polite and pleasant staff, excellent food. The variety and choice were good and imaginative. The atmosphere and decor very tasteful and relaxing. We will certainly dine there again.
Central location 2 minutes from Charing Cross station and very convenient for West End theatres. Good seasonal menu, well-cooked and very friendly service. Does get busy after 6.00 so would advise booking.
