The waiters are just incredible. Fast, efficient, courteous and good natured despite the noise and stress that they’re working under. An excellent team.

Decent food but perhaps a rather too hurried experience .It shouldn't be " fast food " !

The Mackerel starter a little dry and egg overdone..was quickly substituted with alternative dish. Very impressed with service - manager and staff should be complimented

Service was a little slow. We kept having to ask rather than being asked. We had 1 hour to eat and were told that we might struggle with 2 courses and were recommended the Plat Rapides. These came very quickly and we would have had time for a starter course.

Tomato starter arrived so fast the water and glass of wine hadn’t arrived. Although the bread was warm the tomatoes were obviously straight from the fridge and as a result cold and lacking a bit of taste. Vegetarian ravioli was good. Staff pleasant and efficient.

Not at all happy with 'company policy' to ask customers for an optional gratuity of 12 1/2%..gratuity should be directional, or only if service was above expected....as a regular customer to Cote I love the food, but always expect good service and not requested to pay such a high tip...I am more than happy to tip but at my level not your request. I suggest this attitude for tipping might offend some patrons and maybe turn them away to other restaurants.

The food and service were excellent. Lovely menu. We had the special two course pre theatre and because the food was so delicious ended up ordering a special dessert not on the theatre menu -the creme brûlée and it did not disappoint!

The food and service was good, but as we were placed at a table right next to a VERY noisy kitchen counter, we could barely hear anything said at the table with our friends.

Delightful waiting staff. They were pushed to limit by 2 v obnoxious customers next to us who seemed to complain about everything. A man and a woman who I wouldn’t be surprised to find are serial complainers. I felt so sorry for the staff and offered my support to one who seemed to be the floor manager. She seemed grateful and gave me a small discount on our v reasonable bill. Overall, a v good meal. I go regularly to Cote, Muswell Hill where the staff are wonderful to my 82 yr old friend with Alzheimer’s who can be quite tricky. It’s why we return again and again.

When ever we are in London we always eat at The Cote St Martin's Lane. The service is excellent and the food consistently very good . My husband is a coeliac and we know he will be able to order with confidence from the very comprehensive gluten free menu.

We have visited for a late lunch on Sunday. The front of house was in a bit of a chaos, but we got seated. This was the longest time we had to wait for service at Cote even so the hype of the lunch service was winding down and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. After 10 minutes the waiter came to take our order. 3 of the 5 dishes I have asked wasn’t available, the reason was given because is Sunday and no delivery will be today. I have asked for Calamari, Fougasse bread, and a vegetarian dish of lentils... none of them was available. This made me wonder why the restaurant manager order more of these popular dishes and what would they be serving for the dinner service? I assume there was a certain amount of portion allocated for the evening service so here comes my question.... if your guest asks for three dishes and you have to tell them all of them is not available why don’t you have the initiative and ask the kitchen if you can make an exception?

Shared a wonderful Sunday brunch with friends today. Cote St Martins Lane is the perfect spot to meet. The warmest welcome, the brightest service and the full English and the veggie breakfasts were generous and super-tasty! We wouldn’t take our guests anywhere else.
