Côte - St Martin's Lane

The food was very nice however the service was unable to cope with the pre-theatre 6 pm rush. It took almost 20 minutes for someone to take our order and we had to attract the waiter’s attention, no one approached our table at all. There was also a mistake with the bill - we handed in our voucher for free Kir Royales when we ordered but they were added to the bill. They were removed but this took time - all rather stressful given we had to be at a nearby theatre for 7.30. One and a half hours should have been more than adequate time for 2courses without have to rush.

Arrived early for reservations but not an issue. Staff pleasant and professional. Would return to this restaurant again.

We had a lovely dinner. It was extreamly busy but the service was fast, friendly and very efficient. The meal was excellent value for money.

We often eat here before going to the theatre and have never been disappointed. The staff are always so friendly, helpful and efficient; the menus inventive and vegetarian-friendly and the drinks menu excellent.

Excellent service from the moment we stepped through the door. Waiter who showed us to our table was very attentive and the food, once we had ordered, was promptly served and it which was delicious! The atmosphere was 'buzzing' with a variety of people and nearly all tables were full! Glad we booked in advance! Would defintely go back here again.

Everyone was kind and attentive. Our journey to London was slow but they kept our table. This was fantastic, especially on a Saturday evening.

A perfect pre- theatre lunch with friends. Côte St Martins Lane is perfectly located for the theatre, and the excellent welcome, service, food and atmosphere really makes a great start to quality leisure time. And the prices are great too! We wouldn’t go anywhere else....

Nice meal with good service. There was one problem with one main meal which was served and the food was cold, but they rectified the problem and replaced the meal and it was very nice.

We enjoyed an excellent pre-theatre lunch from the table d'hote menu, all delicious! the staff are very efficient and friendly.

The three of us used the (various) set-price lunch menus, and were very pleased with the quality of our choices and the value for money they represented. The service was good but not intrusive - and all orders were taken accurately and met promptly. Would recommend.

A few bones in fish pie dish and some muscles that were served closed. Other than that the food and atmosphere was nice.

Some of the dishes on the Prestige menu were not available so we chose from the al la carte menu which offered a good choice of well-presented and good quality food. The staff were very attentive.

We were treated with the upmost courtesy and a table in the window was reserved for us. The set course premium menu has a great variety of dishes which would suit most peoples taste and as always, our meal was well cooked and presented. We both had the melon and ham starter which was delicious as was our main courses and dessert. Cannot fault this restaurant and it is our "go to" when visiting the theatres. Recommend you book a table as they are very busy at theatre times.

Very pleasant visit to Cote, St Martins Lane, pre-theatre. Food was good, we were served fairly quickly and waiters were friendly and professional. As expected, noise levels were frenetic and the restaurant was at full capacity but the staff coped well. Always good value and worth a visit.

Had a pre-theatre meal with friends here - our second visit. Cannot fault this restaurant. The service is friendly and efficient. You never have to try to catch the waitresses eye - she was so professional. the food was beautifully presented, tasty and very reasonable for the standard experienced. Will definitely be visiting again.

We had a lovely early evening pre-theatre meal for 6. Great choice of food which was delicious and all very reasoanably priced. Roberta, our waitress, looked after us very well.

Although busy when we arrived (6.45pm), it didn't take long for us to be seated (we had booked a table). Staff are clearly used to the busy environment and were very happy to help. Having a particular dietary requirement had been noted on the online order and staff were already aware of this. When it came to ordering, the restaurant manager joined the waitress to ensure that all dietary requirements were addressed. All our requests were dealt with and the staff made us feel completely at ease. We really felt looked after. The meal was delicious and very well cooked. We would highly recommend this particular Cote Brasserie, and would definitely return again.

Very enjoyable lunch. Ate from the a la carte menu with a couple of September specials. We arrived 1:15pm on Sunday and it was quiet in comparison with Saturday lunch which was perfect for us. Our waitress was brilliant, she recommended the two specials and they were spot on, the service was excellent. Well done Cote

Good minute steak and chips with glass of red wine. Service friendly. Could maybe have more selection on glasses of wine. But all in all a good spot for dinner and always reliable when you need supper

Dear Cote - St Martins Lane A FABULOUS lunch for our group of 17 - Ammy - our waitress deserves a special shout out - she was amazing dealing with our SEN group. Her smile, good humour and ability to manage our large group was really impressive. The sign of a good hostess - you don’t see them there...and it happens like magic. Which is what our lunch was - just the right start to our theatre trip. Thank you from the Derwen College parents group

Excellent place for a pre- or post- theatre meal. Food good ,straightforward and good value. Always busy and yet the staff are attentive and friendly. Wish I lived nearer so I could visit more often and stay longer !
