Always great food and great atmosphere. Good value for money.
We had a large party of 10 people, many of whom arrived late. Your marvellous staff coped amazingly well and everyone was fed and very happy. The food was great and the bill so reasonable. A huge thank you to the manager and our lovely waitress. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Table booked for 05:00 pm. We were seated promptly and our server was committed to looking after us straight away. Ate from the Prestige Set Menu and the food was superb. Great start to the evening out.
Our Pork Loin was not hot we mentioned this to Sylvia our server who is the essence of customer care responding to diners needs. She arranged a 20% discount also complimenting our desserts. Silvia was genuinely concerned and went out of her way to put matters right. Thank you Sylvia and the team at Côte St Martin’s Lane. Will be making a reservation for six on Friday 7 March. Always dine at Côte before going to the theatre in the St Martin’s Lane area.
Always have the formulae, good value for money - love it. Great service and smiley staff, always impressed with Cote.
Always good service and good quality food at reasonable prices
Great as always at Cote. Good quality and value for money
We are regulars here and at several other branches of Côte, they never let us down, always consistently good. The food delicious, service great we will continue to be regulars. Thank you for my Kir Royales for my birthday.
My and my ladies have eaten here a few times good service etc great will be back 🥰
Nice restaurant, efficient service and good menu, served by excellent waitress.
The one jarring note was that the waitress refused to take an order for a starter off one set menu and a main from another. This is simply foolish, as I would have ben happy to pay the cost of the higher priced menu. Apart from that the food was as good as always, if a little on the small side ... but I made up for that with the dessert!
Disappointed that this Cote restaurant wouldn’t redeem either of our offers as not all of us were dining from the a la Carte menu (other restaurants have). There were 6 of us dining a la carte or from the specials menu so not a bad deal for the restaurant but they said no. Food was ok except one main had to be sent back and one dessert should have been but we decided against it. None of us like the ‘discretionary’ gratuity being added on to the bill. We can decide what tip to leave.
Mussels very mediocre. Small and very many empty. Bread only served as extra....should be served together. Stroganoff mediocre...pasta warm.... Know Cote well but would not go back to this one. Staff very good and attentive.
St Martins Lane is always reliable for food and service and as requested in my booking I was given a window table
All the food was great apart from the Steak which was smothered in pepper and inedible. Was replaced by a delicious steak.
Very disappointed that beef tagliatelle dish contained 2 strips of beef but loads of mushrooms. Not what I expected of Cote.
Food and welcome were good. However, we felt extremely rushed, with staff attempting to take our plates away while we were still eating. This happened with both starters and main courses, and we resisted this. Our other concern was the condition of the ladies toilets, which did not seem to have been cleaned.
Excellent food, good menu, friendly staff, good value, nice ambiance.
The food was delicious as always and the service was great!
Good service and food delicious , have never been disappointed with my visits to cote, thanks
We enjoyed the meal, the atmosphere and had excellent service.
We were a rather large group of people but the waiters were unflappable and great service was provided. The food was excellent as always.
Great food. Prompt but unobtrusive service. Excellent waiter who was friendly and helpful
The meal was good - as usual but I was very disappointed to find that the “special offer” of a bottle of wine that would have been available had there been just two of us eating from the a la carte menu was not available because we were joined by guests making four of us and not ALL of us wished to eat from from the a la carte menu. This makes absolutely no sense and not only was I upset by this ridiculous policy but also embarrassed in front of my guests. In the end three of us ate more cheaply from the special menu. Overall a sad situation. We have used the restaurant many, many times of the years but this policy really needs to be considered again.
Cote's usual predictable, but good quality food and service. Always a good choice for a pre theatre meal
I had booked for 6.30 but became free earlier. The staff tried to find me a table but couldn't. When I returned at 630 I didn't have to wait. Food was good and good value for money. I would definitely go again.
Great food great service great atmosphere great time great value
An excellent vegan menu. Good service with a warm welcome. Great place for a family lunch.
Excellent venue with great food and staff. We will return again when in London.
We love this cote in Covent Garden , it’s in a perfect spot from Charing x and on way to oxford street. Very polite and helpful staff and excellent breakfast.
Friendly efficient service without feeling rushed. Lovely food and nice relaxed atmosphere in the room downstairs.
It was perfect. I had the seabass with roasted butternut squash as a side My friend has the artichoke goat cheese starter and the roasted fish with a great wine bottle of Chardonnay Well done for this January promotion Thanks
Even though it was very busy the service and food were excellent.
Had an early lunch here yesterday with my daughter before theatre matinee. I had booked a table and although very busy(people queuing) I was shown to my table immediately and service very efficient and friendly. Lovely food and wine. My only criticism would be that some of the tables are a bit too close together. I am a regular Cote diner and always happy with the food and service.
A splendid meal with good service and a slightly boisterous atmosphere.
Lovely meal tonight at Cote St Martins Lane - great food & wonderful service.
Great food and service. Please turn the music down, especially when the restaurant gets busier - hard to hear.
Very busy today at lunchtime, however we were seated within a minute and had a first class experience at Cote
Dependable quality and service at Cote. Staff friendly and attentive, aware of the time limitations on pre theatre meals.
My favourite pre theatre restaurant. The food is always excellent, and the set menus great value for money. Service also excellent, just tge right amount of attention, and no waiting for attention or to pay. My only dislike is the noise level when the restaurant is full. Slightly less loud downstairs, but still very noisy. I was eating on my own, but if I had a companion it would have been difficult to have a sociable conversation.
AS always a lovely night out, great food and service
Lovely food, good service and friendly staff, one of the most pleasant meals I have had out in a long time
Great place to meet friends for lunch. Delicious food and a good atmosphere
An excellent meal and delicious food with a group of friends
A lovely meal we had the pre theatre set menu £20 for 3 courses excellent value
Excellent food, great service and good value for money - highly recommend xxx
Today the food was really excellent..so were the staff..but please sort out your coffee..undrinkable!!!
As a vegetarian I love the options available to me. Food for me and my meat eating friend was excellent. Service was friendly and excellent without being intrusive. Complementary wine too. What could be better?
Light Lunch before Theatre Matinee. Chose the special £9.95 - 2 course deal received via email. We had the Parsnip soup and Chicken with Sarladaise Potatoes & Hacis Parmentier. We both had bottled cider to drink. All these were well cooked and/or tasted good. Apparently this branch was not included in the deal (forgot to read small print?) but was kindly given the discount. The excluded restaurants should be clearly listed to avoid embarassment all round! Only other downside was the noise level, but it is a popular place. I had trouble hearing what my friend was saying... Service good considering the busy time & they left a gap between courses as requested, so we did not feel rushed.
Had a very nice meal Good value The staff were lovely, our waitress was great so friendly and efficient
